K guys, Don't get toooo excited, these two aren't certain to be added, but I Figured I'd give a sneak peak because I'm bored.
Lunar Dragon (Grey Dragon)
Grey Dragon: The moon dragon carries a coat of pale, matte, grey scales that, in the old days, were thought to be made of the very moon itself. Their sparkling yellow eyes dance about like the stars that blanket the night sky. Like their close relatives, the solar dragons, these drakes thrive off the light of the sun, stealing its precious energy to replenish their own stores. Lunar dragons are silent, tranquil beings, spending most their lives in deep meditation. Many of the drakes were thought to be magnificent stone carvings scattered about the peaks of the silent mountains for their stone colored bodies blend with the mountain's mass, and their habit of lying perfectly still for many years in meditation truly allows them to appear statuesque. These slender, magnificent drakes are most active at night and when the moon is waxing full, for its power is their power and they cherish nothing more than the precious light of the mistress of the night sky. Though these creatures thrive off the sunlight, their bodies cannot process the direct rays of the sun as their orange cousins do. Instead, they rely on the moon to soften the harsh rays so that they may be taken in and used.
When the people of the villages near the nesting grounds of these great beasts realized that the draconic statues were not statues at all, but the real being instead, they took it upon themselves to build perfect replicas of the powerful beings out of the moutains they called home to forever preserve their memory. To this day, you may find the ruins of a place called "The Valley of Silence" deep within the silent mountains where Lunar dragons once gathered to lay their loved ones to rest. The valley eventually became the sacred burial ground for the dragons and tamers of old, the majestic stone carvings now lie watch over the graves in place of their inspiration the drakes of the moon.
Dragon Abilities:
Lunar Affinity: The drakes have evolved a special ability to absorb the sun's rays when reflected off the moon. The fuller the moon, the more quickly the dragon regains its energy and heals. On full moons, the drakes can fly straight through the night.
Tranquil Tides: At a point in time, it is thought that these serpents could commune with the moon itself and it is said that it taught them the trick of the tides and the teachings of tranquility. The dragons spent millenia perfecting the ability to send soothing waves of emotion to those around them, calming anger, hatred, and even a rabid mind.
Of Silence: The dragon draws all sound from the area, pulling the decible level into the negatives to a point that a man can hear his own blood flowing through his veins. The shock of such silence can drive a person to suicidal thoughts in just a few minutes. However, the dragon and its tamer are forced to endure the silence as well. A weak mind cannot survive more than a few minutes, so meditation and mind training is key. Silence is a powerful thing.
Appearance:
Dream Dragon (Pearl Dragon)
Long ago there was a species of dragon that was only seen or heard of in dreams and in legends. With scales that shift colors in the moonlight, from pale blues to pinks to purples, these dragons appear to be illusions of sleepless eyes. They have tendrils of thin, sensitive flesh that are said to be the receptors of the desires around them. Though these manes of nerves are often mistaken for fur, they are no such thing. There has never been another species with appendages with such emotion reading ability and this comes as a weakness to the drakes when around the selfish and desperate wants of man. Few could be convinced that these allusive beings existed for few had ever seen one in the flesh. But these dragons were as real as real could be; living side by side with great mages and dream readers, these dragons were masters of the mind, said to have evolved from the Celestial Dragons, inheriting a diluted instinct of empathy. They understand emotions and desires of others almost as perfectly as their own. It is believed that these pearlescent dragons evolved into psychological beings, their very essence intertwined with the workings of the subconscious. The Dream Dragons taught the mages of old the art of dream interpretation and astral projection that they might attain a higher level of consciousness among their kind. But with this ability, the dragons were quickly accused by many to be evil sorcerers, bewitchers of the mind, intoxicators of thought and desires. As society grew and the greed of men grew with it, the Dream Dragons could no longer handle the strain of endless want pulsing on their sensitive manes. They hid away in the mountains and in far away lands, disappearing from the eyes of the two legged creatures who knew no satisfaction.
Dragon Abilities:
Redirection: Being masters of the concept of want and desires, the Dream Dragons have long manipulated man’s concept of desire. The pearl dragon can enter into the mind of the foe and potentially remove their desire to win the fight. Dream dragons are peaceful beings and will use this ability to avoid fights. However, this process is complex and takes years to grasp and execute with appropriate skill.
Eternal Sleep: With such understanding of the subconscious and the mind’s workings, the pearl dragon may tweak the processes of the mind and send a target into a temporary or eternal sleep. This takes great training to accomplish for the mind cannot be studied like a book and each one works differently.
