Speaking of, I've never been to Cali and have no knowledge either. I live on the east coast, but I'll be using Google.

I'm interested and will think up a char, but know that I live in the EU and thus, have 0 knowledge of Northern California or any other US regions.

• Your character was, or is, in a metal container that cancels your power on a train. The cell is one of at least twenty others. As soon as the train was sabotaged and de-railed, the power-cancelling qualities of the cells was made redundant. So if your character has a way of protecting themselves, they probably had a few seconds to do so before their container was violently thrown off track. If not, you're just lucky to have survived.
• Your opening post can include stuff happening earlier, but should end around ten minutes following the crash itself. If some of you would like an early excuse to build a friendship you could run in to each other following the crash.
• I would like all characters to head towards the stream referenced in my IC post as some kind of 'rally point'. Your first post won't involve any interaction, unless you have pre-planned it with another member as mentioned above.
• We don't know who or what sabotaged the train, and any guard or officers onboard are either dead, or not nearby to bother us. (Yet.)

Would they have put Alex in the same cell as someone else? Even with power-cancelling walls, it seems a bit silly to put the person who amplifies powers near anyone with powers.
