I was unsure where to go with this recent development, but I finally decided. At first I thought it would be funny if Evvie uprooted the tree to send down so umbard could grab on, only to reveal your guy behind it, but decided to go with this idea instead. In all honestly I don't think he could be hiding from her behind there unless she totally missed where he ran off too while chasing him. She'd have a bad case of having the idiot ball on that one...more so than normal. XD

P.S. I like the spelling of Umbard better than Ombard so am sticking with it.

@Doc Doctor the way Im reading it, the hand lets go of his right leg but the spindly stump manages to wrap around his left leg instead and I decide if the ripping leg attack succeeded in time or not?

I thought the tail had initially gotten Umbard's left leg. The claw is going for the right. The tail is retracting and leaving the cut off bit behind.

Umbard didn’t care about the subtleness of wind or minor chills, especially when he had a foe to cleave open. However, he was certainly not one to ignore the less than subtle smack against his lefts that sent him hurling to the floor. He let out a manly growl in surprise.

By lefts I assumed you meant the tail had his left leg.

@Doc Doctor I had thought the hand getting severed is what resulted in the tail that you mentioned in that post. Never mind. Brain fart.

And unfortunately the flavor sticks inside her mouth for a long time. I would assume saliva would break it down before she needs an IV to feed herself.her face being stuck to his leg would end the battle in such an undignified way before you other guy even comes out. Evvie couldn't do much besides flap around awkwardly ad Umbard would have a 100 pound or so weight attached to a leg.

That did give me a new anti-Evvie strategy. Glue her mouth shut and then take her on at medium to long range where she can no longer fight effectively. Plus it would get her to shut up if some villain finds here talkative nature annoying! I'm going to make that happen in canon. The other baddies on his team think he wasted a surprise attack just to get her to shut up, not realizing his actual strategy. He knew he couldn't do serious damage to her in a single surprise attack so instead went for a different approach.

Err...looks like we discussed about the post but I never posted. I'll get right on it after work.

My niece and nephew are visiting for a lot of the summer and they enjoy playing with me a lot once I get off work, but I'll try to get a post tomorrow. My alone time is limited.

On the bright side I've basically found all the shrine in Zelda breath of the wild (they enjoy watching) and mastering some guitar scales while he forces me to watch him play as well. I'm going to be a guitar master by the time they leave in a month.

Since I'm not going to get extra time off at some point like I thought, I'll just get a post out very late at night over the weekend and sleep in.
