Pretty cool stuff right here. Don't know what map makers you all use and such, but discovered this recently and was making a map for a fantasy novel I want to write. Potentially for an epic RP within the world too, but that won't happen until I have micro-managed the shit out of the direction I'd want it to go. Definitely want it to be like a cross of The Witcher and Malazan Book of the Fallen.

Here's what I've ended up with:

inkarnate.com

Wish there were more features on it, but still a lot of fun. Anyone else know any solid and free map makers?

@Dark WindI don't know any free ones of the top of my head, but as with many things, 10 minutes with google would answer that.

Never heard of Inkarnate though but the map looks good. does it have Sci-Fi elements to it (specifically a solar system map of planets, artificial installations, and the like?) otherwise this would be something I could use for the planet my current deviantart series is using. saves me the trouble of having to describe the environment.
