Name : Diana Age : 14 Gender : Female Allegiance : Villain
Power Set : Diana can manipulate technological constructs, computers, robots, hardware and other devices that can be termed as "technology". Manifested as a special form of electrical/telekinetic manipulation, a special form of "morphing" which allows physical interaction with machines, or even a psychic ability that allows mental interface with computer data. Background story : Diana was a child of a poor family in America. She was 12 when her powers manifested. She was in front of an ATM machine with her mom and while she didn't understood it back then, her mother was being very angry at the ATM because the account read "0$". Diana didn't like that her mother was sad and while touching the ATM, she wished that the credit account not be 0 and then it was not. 5000$ appeared "magically" in her mother's account. Diana was intelligent enough to understand what happened and not tell anyone. Her mother assumed the bank made a mistake and didn't care how it happened. A year later, Diana's parents died in a car accident and she would've been sent to the orphanage if she wouldn't decide to use her powers. She used her powers to create a fake identity for herself, a set of "fake parents" and of course, a big fat credit account. When the virus hit, Diana was affected same like the others but she was lucky and survived. Soon the aliens came and the war started. Diana was knocked out by Behemoth that attacked the city when The Collective Man saved her. He put her into a special facility deep underground and after The Collective Man's injury and the loss of the war, Diana decided to stay there and become their "technological specialist".
Name : Damian Boone Alias : The Collective Man Age : 43 Gender : Male Allegiance : Hero
Ignore the smile and think it as a frown
Power Set : Replication : The ability to replicate oneself with the Demi-cellular Division variation : This form of replication results in the affected subject "splitting", much like a cell, into physical organic clones indefinitely depending on available resources. This form generally causes all clones to lack a autonomous intelligence, instead being a unit in a collective "hivemind", each clone being just one "cell" of a unified consciousness (usually that of the subject). This form benefits because if the "original" subject dies, a clone can take their place as the central point of the hivemind making the subject technically immortal as long as there is sufficient copies to take their place. If a clone is separated from the the hivemind then it can work with the autonomy and intelligence of an average human, acting as just a simple clone. This form of replications downsides dwell in the fact that the clones only possess the strength of the original and thus is only effective on a large scale (ex. army size), and the clones, being solid organic matter, cannot be made to just vanished, but can only be made to be reabsorbed.
Background story : Not much is known of Damian Boone before he became The Collective Man. His parents died when he was 2 in a car accident and then he went through a long list of orphanages. Then, Damian Boone disappears for 10 years until the age of 26 when he make a reappearance as The Collective Man. From there he began his career by killing (in self-defense) The Mastermind, a super villain with the power to mind control other humans with no apparent restriction of number. The Collective Man defeated him by making more than 600 clones of himself, eventually The Mastermind lost control of the clones. But that was only one of The Collective Man's achievements. Until the age of 40, he became the most known hero of all times. The leader of The Collective seemed to be the only one that could eliminate the aliens when they invaded but even him, as strong as he was couldn't do it. While in Daria, the aliens came in force and bombarded most of the city. He went outside of the city, in the face of an upcoming alien armada and fought them himself to give enough time for the city to evacuate. That is where, The Collective Man was "killed". He was an army by himself but he came back broken from that fight. A plasma ball hit The Collective Man in the lower back and paralyzed him from waist down. While he could've just "go" inside another clone, that specific clone with the broken back, was left unconscious in a swarm of bodies. The others simply died as he made a last stand against the aliens. He was found broken by scout a few days later, in perpetual pain and bitter.
Amenthis Coldwater
Name : Amenthis Coldwater Alias : Portal Age : 25 Gender : Female Allegiance : Hero
Power Set : Teleportation - Amenthis can teleport at a distance of 10 meters, anything more and it will cause headaches and eventually death. She can teleport objects that she doesn't touch as long as she can see them and are withing a 3 meter radius around her.
Background story (where was your character born ? How did he become a hero/villain ? How was he caught ?) : Amenthis was born on the streets of New York (Harlem). Her mother was a hooker and thus' Amenthis never knew her real father. Since she was born Amenthis was raised by whores, pickpockets and other criminals that walked the streets.
At the age of 14, she saw her mother getting stabbed by a customer that didn't want to pay, the worse part was that the police didn't do anything. The guy that killed Amenthis's mother denied everything and was a upstanding citizen, so Amenthis was no believed and the criminal escaped justice.
That was the moment when Amenthis decided to matters in her own hands. She learned how to fight by training at a dojo (using whatever cash she could find) and soon started to beat up thugs inspired by other heroes. She didn't have any powers yet and soon she tangled with the wrong criminal. He was a member of a big gang that almost ruled Harlem and tracked Amenthis to her safe house with a few other gangsters. There they raped, beat her and when they were about to kill her...Amenthis's powers finally manifested. Unknowingly, Amenthis used her powers to teleport the criminals 10 meters in the air and one of them died when he hit the ground. The police eventually came and decided that Amenthis acted in self-defense but that didn't stop Amenthis to blame herself for the death of that man.
Years later, at the age of 24 when the virus hit, she was known as Portal. She almost mastered her powers when she got infected. Portal was one of the few lucky survivors of the virus but it left her weakened and was in a hospital bed when the aliens invaded. When humans lost the war, Amenthis knew right away that she couldn't the aliens alone and became like the wind. Never in one place, always scavenging and never in one place more than a day.
Alt Image Manic Street Preachers - Faster Name: Joseph "Joe" Fears Alias: Falcon Age: 24 Gender: Male Allegiance: Villain Written Description: Joe stands at a short 5 foot 7 and has a fit, slightly muscular physique. His hair is a dark brown and is kept at a medium length, almost messy style. His beard, slightly more trimmed is the same dark hue, in fact the only thing to break this pattern are his hazel eyes. He doesn't really have a costume, although the red bandana worn around his mouth, backwards cap and aviators has become somewhat of a cult image for him. Power Set: Super speed - Joe is able to get from Edinburgh to London in the space of minutes. Albeit, the faster he moves the more exhausted he'd be after he stopped running, but he is learning more and more about how to adapt to this. Background story: Speed. Joe's life has always been about speed. His father unsuccessfully ran trials for Britain to compete in the Olympics years before Joe was born and constantly pressured him to become what he could not. Joe, however, had no interest in running, not until his teen years anyway.
See, Joe was quite good in school, excelling at English, History and even French. Regardless of this however, he hated the place, and spent most of his time skiving to go out and cause trouble with his friends. Ironically enough, his father's constant training with running came in quite handy at these times, as he often had to run from angry store owners, parking attendants, policeman and worse yet, angry fathers of upper class girls.
For years he went by uncaught, doing all sorts of minor crimes ranging from bike thievery to graffiti - most of which slandered the police. That is until he met his match. A young police officer equipped with something that Joe couldn't outrun. A bike. Of all the things to be caught by Joe had to be caught by the most humiliating of all - a bike cop.
His court case was simple. Pay an extremely large fine, go to juvie or enroll in one of the sectors of the military. Without much else to do with his life, Joe chose to enroll in the RAF. What surprised Joe was how much he enjoyed the airforce, at first he thought it would be better just to go to juvie, but the place grew on him and he was even enlisted to fly his own jet when he was of age.
His squadron were like brothers to him, and he admired his leader as a father figure. He even gained the nickname 'Falcon' for how well he took to the air, being unafraid to fast as fly as his plane would take him. However, things couldn't go well forever. They were attacked on a scouting mission with his squadron being shot down and his jet being badly damaged. Something extremely strange happened during this ordeal though. After being hit his arm was flung into the wreckage of his control panel, but rather than being electrocuted and crashing the plane began to speed up. It began going faster and faster until Joe finally tore his arm from the panel, dive bombing into water near his aircraft carrier. He was honourably discharged and sent home with nothing but the knowledge of his new powers.
He began training, day in day out, getting faster and faster each day until he became but a blur. Eager for a change of scenery with this new change of lifestyle, he moved to the US. Always one, to act before thinking, Joe blew his savings within the first few months of staying there. He was never someone who wanted a regular 9 to 5 job and managed to squeeze his way into a heist gang with a few less reputable friends he had made during his time in the US.
With his added skillset the heists went by without a hitch. Hell, he could have even done it on his own if he knew how to crack a safe. He was even named leader after their former leader was shot while escaping from a bank. Rules changed quite a bit after he was made leader though. There was to be no killing of anyone who wasn't directly endangering their own lives. Due to this image shift and his high profile - music blasting, approach to heists, Joe became quite the infamous celebrity. Heck, some shops even began supplying t-shirts with his likeness on him, branding him 'Falcon' after his tattoo of the very same animal was spotted on his wrist. Two very different ways of getting the same nickname.
Business was less than booming when the virus hit. Less people meant less money and less things to buy. Joe almost decided to turn his life around when the aliens began attacking, but it was unfortunately not to be. He was captured by the aliens whilst sleeping. Can't run when you're unconscious. Nemesis: Amenthis Coldwater/Portal Nemesis's story: Joe met his nemesis whilst heisting Daria's National Bank. After successfully escaping police capture and returning to a dingy abandoned warehouse he was using as a safe house, he noticed something slightly off. If he had reacted a moment later he would have been behind bars a long time ago, as he narrowly evaded the grasp of the portal hopping superhero out to catch him. Since then, Portal has continued to show up at most every robbery, Joe pulls off, with the chances of escape becoming slimmer and slimmer as the two grew to realize each others strengths and weaknesses. Regardless of her vendetta against him, Joe bears no real ill will towards Portal, commonly being heard bantering with her.
Power Set : Kinetic Redistribution ~The ability to not only halt, but reverse or otherwise redirect the kinetic energy surrounding an object. Example: You shoot him with a bullet. Provided he can see it and knows it is coming, he can force the bullet to stop mid air, and all forward propulsion be directed to a different angle facing, then let it resume its course, under the new directional flow of kinetic energy.
~Weaknesses include the fact he must be able to see, or otherwise predict what is about to happen. Limited not so much by the size, but a piano rolling down a hill will take a lot more effort and energy to kinetically redirect than a bicycle would.
Background story (where was your character born ? How did he become a hero/villain ? How was he caught ?) : Ken Vector was born in New York to a scientist mother, and secretarial father. With access to nothing but the best in education, resources, books and toys, Ken grew up a spoiled brat, who could and would get whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted.
Believing that he was superior to other people, he would look down his nose on everyone. Having an entitled upbringing had left him with a strong superiority complex. His vast intellect helped to propagate this, as he took to any and all classes really well. He didn't care he had nothing in the way of social skills. People were just tools for him to use to help him get to and achieve whatever he so desired.
Wanting to further prove himself, he went on to become a Professor in Kinetic Energy, if for the title and nothing else, having a natural knack for physics. Soon after this, the Dean of the University tried to have him kicked out due to attitude and negligence of behavior. Since this had been the first time Ken had actually not gotten his way properly, he lashed out at the Dean. Security was called in. When one tried to jump onto him, Ken had just looked at him, and the guard went flying backwards. Another guard tried to punch Ken, but with a stern look, the flying fist suddenly changed direction, but not facing. The wrist proceeded to snap, and break the guards nose at the same time. Not knowing how it had happened, but understanding the concept, Ken used it to beat the Dean within an inch of his life.
It was not long after this, that Ken Vector went out into the world, and became known to the tabloids as 'the Kineticist.' He had no objections to this name, and embraced it. Still believing himself to be the best, he would go out of his way to test himself, his powers, and the so-called-heroes.
When the virus hit, Ken was left largely untouched. This did nothing but further stroke his ego. It was his arrogance and over-confidence that got him captured by the aliens when they struck. believing he could take them on, he got overwhelmed and apprehended, being one of the first super powered individuals to do so.
Ever since, he has been quietly planning and plotting his revenge. None made him look weak and foolish. He would prove he was superior to these plebiscite aliens, and make them pay. But first he had to figure out how to escape his confines...
Nemesis (the alias and username) : Nemesis's story (how did they meet ? who won ? etc. This should be coordinated with the player that is your nemesis) :
Take the universe and grind it down to the finest powder and sieve it through the finest sieve and then show me one atom of justice, one molecule of mercy. And yet people act as if there is some ideal order in the world, some Rightness in the universe, by which it may be judged
Name : Elis Saal Alias : Ignis Age : 31 Gender : Female Allegiance : Hero [in the strictest sense of the world. She's NG] Image : Written Description:
Elis has two resoundingly different appearances, one for when she is out and about in her normal guise, and one when she is patrolling the city as a Hero! Of sorts, at least. More like, a person that generally stops people being dicks with other people, more than a hero.
When normally active, Elis has short black hair, and wears a subtle, unintrusive latex suit, covering her from neck to toe, and with only her head exposed, under whatever clothes she decides to wear for the day, so it is only generally her hands and occasionally her neck that is obviously latexed. She wears a pair of glasses, totally fake but for the show. Through these, her blue eyes can be seen, and her face has a soft, perfect look to it, as if she spends several hours a day in front of a mirror applying moisturizer and makeup for the perfect complexion. She has ample breasts, and a lithe frame, something that would make her generally attractive for a few people, until they found the reason for why she wore the suit, at least, the reason she claimed.
In her hero form, Elis changes so much she is barely recognisable. Ditching the latex for a deep red halterneck corset, a very short pair of pants, and some incredibly vibrant pair of red ballet heels, she shows off a great deal of her flawless skin, and flants a firey pattern on everything she wears. This, along with her name, clues everyone in to her powers immediately, and so they can work to counter her, and take advantage of the fact that she is so obviously putting her powerset on show. Another large change is the colour of her hair and eyes, taking a very sharp nose-dive to a pure white, and removing the need for any sort of mask. Her hair also stands on end, spiky as if gelled into a mohawk. She wears a flashy pair of gauntlets that look very high-tech and are clearly the source of her power.
Power Set: Bio-Electrokinesis: Ignis naturally generates a much higher Electromagnetic Field than most humans, and can use this to her advantage, making the super powers from her own body. Ignis' main power is, despite the fire natured name and motiff, electrokinesis. She can only control the electricity that she produces herself, but she can use this to her advantage, throwing lightning bolts around, and uterlizing it to have an electromagnetic powerset. Originally used so she could actually wear the hellish Ballet Boots without tripping, she has since become accustomed to them, and now can uterlize it for lifting metal objects, and launching them and hypersonic velocity. This bio-electricity renders her immune to practically everything electrical based, as she simply absorbs the energy. It also allows her to gain a degree of super reflexes and strength by charging her nervous system and muscular system, but this negates her manifestation while she is using it, and her powers can only sustain overcharging one system at a time. The same is said about her healing powers, which negate the rest of her powers while being active. She can also charge her electromagnetic powers into a compressed ball and then release a pulse to fry everything remotely electronic in the surrounding area.
Background story: Ignis, born Eliane Saal - but much preferring Elis - was not one who looked to the horizon for anything. Life, was just life. She had a distinct inability to work, socially, so had few friends, and didn't get along with her parents because she didn't really know how to get along with them, and they simply brushed her off as being weird when she was nine, so she decided that humans were not worth the effort. But, what she did have, was an abundance of drive and talent in online forums, spinning out many different guises to fill the days, weeks and months of apathy between school.
However, one day, she blew up her room's light-bulb by touching the switch. It made her jump, but she passed it off as a dicky fuse, a theory that was then proven false when she blew up her computer as well by touching that. Through secret trial and error, hidden at the bottom of her room away from anything electrical and with several metal objects, she found her that her everything were electrical. And, that she couldn't be shocked either - which she discovered by sticking her tongue on a piece of metal she was touching - which led to an awkward question. How the hell was she going to tell her parents that she had suddenly become some sort of, lightning girl? And if she couldn't turn it off, how was she going to do anything in this world of increasing electrical reliance. In five minutes she had a whole list of things that would be destroyed by her touching them, and with her growing interest and skill with all manner of electronic engineering, this was going to suck, a lot. So, instead, she ran to the bathroom and pulled on the rubber gloves used for cleaning. That sorted her hands, but there was the rest of her that was a problem, so she stole out of the house, and went to a certain, shop, she knew. There she bought herself a catsuit in a skin-colour, and spent the next hour fighting to get it on before finally succeeding and returning home. Her parents didn't really care, she was always weird, and her school didn't care either.
So, over the next few years, she went everywhere in it, but also avoided people to reduce the risk of accidents, while working on a book in her spare time over a new computer she got. It was quite ironic, being about a girl who had suddenly gained powers she had no idea what to do with, but she changed details up enough that nobody knew it was her she was referring to. However, just before she managed to get it published, Bad Things happened, and she had to leave her town for somewhere else. Somewhere far away from her town. So, she ran to the city of Daria. Having some terrible luck, she managed to get herself in a situation where she was about to be mugged, only to be saved by some caped crusader. Without really thinking, she spilled the beans on the whole electrical powers thing, and luckily, the man was kind enough to help her out with getting in under control. Something that she desperately needed because she was becoming a true wiz in her engineering hobby, and wearing latex all the time was kind of awkward to work with.
While, through extensive testing and training, it became clear her touch-to-shock would never go away, she did manage to throw a few lightning bolts, which was always cool. Drunk on the power of lightning, she created her own costume and took to the streets. But, she was kind of bad at creating costumes, so it looked, less noble hero, more something out of a late night Japanese Hentai. Even so, it was pretty liberating, for her, giving her a new and rather nutty impression of herself, making her much more, socially alive than she ever felt was possible. So she became much more of a Deva than she ever thought was possible, through several iterations of her costume, and even some evolution of her powers. She was a girl who was in love with being a superpowered woman, in love with the freedom, if she didn't really get around to heroing all that often. She more did what she wanted to do and stopped anyone who was being an asshole if she was in the general area.
However, a few years into this liberation, the world suddenly caught a cold, and Heroes dropped like flies. Elis was one of the very few that managed to survive, and she had no idea how she managed that, but it was as if fortune smiled upon her. That didn't last long, as aliens invaded and smashed the crap out of humanity. Unable to fight them down on Earth, with her powers, Elis decided to get herself caught by the hunters, and see what she could do when they took her back to their home. What kind of manipulation she could do to make their power supplies go boom. Sabotage was the best way to win when you couldn't brute-force it, after all.
Nemesis (the alias and username) : Mimic Nemesis's story : The Sorid tale, of Mimic and Ignis. The beautiful girl dropped down Ignis' town after believing it to be an easy hunting ground, and started picking off gangsters to carve out her own empire. Ignis came around one day with tea and cookies to flirt and offer an alliance, but Mimic turned her down cold. This, turned out to be the worst thing to do, as Ignis became the nightmare of Mimic, always there, foiling every move she tried to make, crushing her plans and smiting her minions, like the first actual bit of heroing she had ever done. The emotional stress was overwhelming, but Ignis' eternal presence, prevented Mimic from removing herself from the equation, and forcing her to simply live in hell.
Name : Daren McDonnell Alias : The Infamous (main alias), AKA The Widowmaker, The Warlord, The WorldWeaver, The Irishman (any variation of those), D'ren Age : early thirties Gender : Male Allegiance : Villain Theme Song: "Come Out and Fight (Ye Black and Tans)" - The Battering Ram Image :
Written Description ( optional )(can be used instead of Image) : Shoulder-length black hair, facial stubble, facial scar along the side of his face, green eyes, usually wears black leather, including knuckle gloves, trench coat.
Power Set (only one power per character) : Invisibility; in addition to being able to turn invisible himself, he can make an object or person invisible by touch, but once he stops touching them, they will become visible again in under 20 seconds. If he stays invisible for more than a few minutes, he begins to lose his eyesight and/or go insane with heightened emotions.
Background story (where was your character born ? How did he become a hero/villain ? How was he caught ?) :
Daren Connor McDonnell was born in North Carolina to Elisa and Liam McDonnell. Though he was only 1/4th Irish, even at a young age Daren often passed himself off as being half, or full Irish, especially if it got him a discount on alcohol. When he was a boy, he visited Ireland with his family, which included two brothers and a sister. His parents were murdered, but he never found out who did it, or gave the order. He only knew that they had been doing research on aliens, and both MI5 and the US government did not approve. His siblings split up when they were teens and he still hasn't seen them to this day. Daren as a teen.
In his early years of life, Daren never understood why people ignored him so much, despite his crazy, sociopathic antics. His sister had a speech impediment and had always called him D'ren. It once annoyed him, but now that his siblings were gone, living in other parts of the world, he took on the name and continued to live in Ireland. He figured out that he was capable of turning invisible, which usually happened on accident. D'ren discovered that when people weren't paying him any attention, despite the fact he was standing right there, he would feel invisible, and so he would slowly turn invisible. Even if someone looked at him and saw him becoming transparent, their psychology would make up something to explain it away, like maybe they imagined it or were seeing things that weren't there. Or even that D'ren had simply walked away. The human mind can be powerfully self-deceptive.
The year was 2014 and D'ren had just turned 21. He went out for his first legal drink with a few unsavory fellows he called buddies. They literally back-stabbed him in a barfight with a biker gang. As D'ren was lying on the ground, paralyzed, he tried to call for help but nobody even looked at him. So he became invisible. The only reason why he noticed was because he watched his pooling blood turn translucent around him.
After the hospital patched him up, he left and immediately got into crime. Under the guise of several aliases, he made millions from bank heists and eventually was recruited by MI5 to help them catch IRA soldiers and officers. He pretended to help, but almost crippled the British intelligence organization before joining the IRA and quickly rising through the ranks as one of their leaders, at the age of 29 in 2022. In four years, D'ren had killed thousands of civilians, earning his reputation as "The Infamous Irishman," which later became just "The Infamous." It was during one of his raids on a police office he earned his facial scar.
During his time in the IRA, D'ren traveled to America often for missions or to look for his siblings. He once saw a young woman creating an illusion from her imagination, and interacting with it as if it were real. Mesmerized, D'ren spied on her and even had IRA operatives remain near her parents' house at all times.
In 2025, he was 32-years-old when he left the IRA to form a superpowered gang of villains that would take over Ireland; his ultimate goal was to rule the world, but he didn't get that far because in 2026, the Collective and The Dozen were formed. He refused to be part of either group. Instead, he and his small gang went rogue, aiming to take down both the Collective and the Dozen. Most of the battles usually ended in failure, or a draw. The Infamous only actually won one battle. During this conflict, he met Dreamscape again, though for her this was the first time.
As they fought, D'ren came to admire her even more. Whenever The Infamous went out to attack someone with his power of invisibility, the Collective sent Dreamscape, usually backed up by another hero with a more aggressive power. On their fourth encounter, D'ren killed the man who was supposed to be protecting her. His super-strength was nothing compared to the ability to become invisible. The Infamous tried to kidnap her, having become infatuated with her, but she was rescued by other heroes.
Two years later, at 35, D'ren became sick with the virus that only affected all super-powered individuals. He was near death when his sister Dinah showed up; she had a type of healing ability, but all she could do was take part of the virus, not eliminate it. So she died from the virus. D'ren discovered that he was immune to the virus so he felt really really bad about inconveniencing his now-dead sister by coming all the way out to heal him pointlessly. Hating the world even more, The Infamous went after everyone: the Collective, the Dozen, the governments, other criminals. But most powered people were being killed off by the virus, and that included his gang; plus, he spread his gang too thin and each cell was taken down by the heroes and armies of the world.
Then the aliens came. He smartly used his power to hide underground, but was captured and collared by the aliens and thrown into prison.
FORMER Nemesis (the alias and username) : Tamria/Dream-scape / @FantasyKitten CURRENT Nemesis: Damon/The Host / @BlackPanther Nemesis's story (how did they meet ? who won ? etc. This should be coordinated with the player that is your nemesis) FantasyKitten and I will discuss this, either here or PM. But for the moment, our story is what I put in the background.
Name : Tamria Lucas Alias : Dream-scape Age : 26 Gender : Female Allegiance : Hero Image:
Written Description: Lavender hair rested against her shoulder blades, her matching purple eyes staring into space. Her slender frame showed signs of undernourishment and her skin seemed to glow faintly like moonlight. She was soft spoken and often lost in her own world, forgetting the simple things like to eat or sleep. Her clothing choices were light and flowy dresses, nothing constricting and it was rare to see shoes on her feet.
Power Set (only one power per character) : Illusionist- Can create illusions ranging from basic to advanced based on the time spent and concentration required each. "Unrealistic" Illusions are easily broken. Manipulation of illusions required constant concentration (eg, To have an illusionary bird fly around, requires Tamria to be concentrating on only it). Unsustainable illusions (Those not currently being concentrated on) will cease to exist once interacted with (eg, someone touches an illusionary brick wall, it fells like air and fades to nothing). If the Illusion is being focused on, it appears real to anyone unsuspecting that it may be an illusion. (Eg, Concentrating on a brick wall illusion, It looks and feels exactly like a brick wall to a human, but if a villain suspecting it is an illusion hit is, it would quickly fade to nothing).
Background story (where was your character born ? How did he become a hero/villain ? How was he caught ?) : Born in Southern California, Tamria's childhood was sheltered. Her parents kept her mostly locked inside her house. They told her that she was gifted and that there were people who might wish her harm. She was home schooled and struggled to control her powers, often creating illusions subconsciously. Her parents struggled to understand her powers, choosing to place more and more restrictions on her until their daughter had shriveled away to a shell of a human. She barely spoke, left her room or ate, choosing instead to live in a world she had created inside her mind. It wasn't until she was well into her late teens that her parents lightened their restrictions under advice from Tamria's therapist. Unfortunately her years of social isolation made it difficult for her to return to normal society. It was only 6 months after her parents accepted her for who she was and allowed her to leave the house that the sickness hit. There is not much from that time period she remembers, all she knows is that everything was dark for a long time and then eventually she got better. After this time, Tamria grew in confidence, convinced that there was a reason she survived. Preferring to work with other heroes in a supporting role, she struggled on her own. For awhile she worked closely with another hero, Wrecking Ball. She always thought his name was rather silly and he was far too full of himself but he was sweet to her and his super strength got the job done. Until one day it didn't. Tamria had been working as part of a group tackling a rouge group of villains. She had been foolish and began conjuring illusions in the open and one of the villains must have spotted her. Everything she created faded and even those she concentrated on where ignored or destroyed. Soon she collapsed from mental exhaustion and flickered in and out of consciousness as she watched The Wrecking Ball lay there bleeding out and her body was dragged away from him by someone that she couldn't see. Some time after she awoke in a hospital surrounded by the remainder of heroes part of the division of The Collective. The mentioned something about an attempted kidnapping, and that when they retrieved her, all her wounds had attempted to be treated. Tamria remembered nothing. Tamria had taken a leave of absence from the collective when the aliens attacked. The over use of her power and mental exaustion had began to cause memory loss. There was little she could do to defend herself and even her illusion copies of herself were no match to their technology.
Nemesis (the alias and username) : The Infamous Nemesis's story (how did they meet ? who won ? etc. This should be coordinated with the player that is your nemesis) : (refer to backstory)
Written Description : 6'2/ 175 lbs/ brown eyes (red when using powers)/ slim but slightly muscular figure/ Dark black hair that is shaggy and is about the length and about medium length/
Power Set : Energy manipulation. Kyle can control and manipulate energy, the waves that the universe emits. Think of it like manna or chakra, and Kyle can store it in his body and project it as a projectile construct or in a melee fashion. The color of the energy he wields is red, and since he is quite an infamous villain, it all gave headway into his name "The Red Demon". The thing is while Kyle can manipulate the energy into a beam or disk or even claws on his hand, the energy he uses cannot just be wielded from thin air. He has to first draw the energy from the universe, from his surroundings, and store it in his body like a manna pool. Trying to create a construct or projectile from thin air would be almost fatal for Kyle, the energy he would wield be poisonous. The logic behind it is that by taking the energy in his body, his body can filter the energy like we would filter water from the tap, store it in his body, and then be able to use it in a way that he could control so that it did not come out widely like a spray and pray from a gun.
Background story : Kyle was born in a car along side a dusty state road in the middle of God forsaken nowhere to two loving parents and one older brother. His family was very poor, and often unlucky in most endeavors as entrepreneurs, especially at the moment where his father Verdock and his pregnant mother Mary were on the road with his older brother Conrad when his mother went into labor. Miles away from the nearest hospital, Kyle was born in the backseat of the families 67 chevy impala, and while their fortunes were low they could not be happier. See, they did not care about material objects, preferring to live life how they saw fit and choosing the warmth of their family over the warmth of some average joe house and a white picket fence.
Kyle grew up with these values and enjoyed them, loving his family more than anything. Even today as a villain while he has no qualms about murder and kidnapping or breaking the law in general, he still believes in family and trust in a team which is very hard to come by as a villain. Anyways back to the past, he was about the age of 11 when the event that changed his life would emerge. He discovered his powers while in the super market of a small town in Ohio. He was picking out some fruit when he witnessed a mugging in an alley. Kyle became enraged at the criminals actions, and ran forward to help the poor old man being robbed. As predicted, he got his ass handed to him for the beginning of the fight, but straight out of a comic book he suddenly had a red energy coat over his body, which was harder than metal. He beat the snot out of the criminals, then passed out.
His parents and brother found him, and after he awoke in the safety of their care, he explained what happened. His family was over joyed, having another super in the family. See his brother was a super as well, being able to basically "Go Zoom" as he called it. He had super speed, which allowed him faster reflexes, incredible speed, and the ability to phase through solid objects. But once some time had passed Conrad realized that he was becoming jealous, as his parents began doting on Kyle and seemingly forgetting about him.
Kyle and Conrad trained and stopped criminals for a few more years as his parents did their things and sold whatever contraptions they invented. All the while Conrad grew ever more angry, now all but invisible to his parents. In his defense, their parents did actually treat Kyle better, for in their minds they could see Conrads anger and violent tendencies and tried to keep Kyle from becoming like Conrad. When Kyle was 16 years old, he witnessed Conrad murdering his parents right in front of him after a violent altercation with them that had turned physical. Kyle tried to fight Conrad, but with Conrad being 23 and Kyle 16, Conrad was much stronger. After Conrad left Kyle bloody and broken, Kyle was picked up and tended to by another group of similar people.
Kyle spent a few years trying to keep to his morals, dispense justice, and find his brother, but when he turned 17 he realized something. Being good, trying to do the right thing, having morals, they were road blocks on the path to power. He discovered that his brother began building a criminal empire, and to combat that he was going to need money and minions to boot. Teamwork would have been fine on a super hero team, but to do what he needed to do he could not be a hero. So for four years following Kyle made his mark as "The Red Demon", inspiring fear and terror and brandishing his powers as an extension of himself.
Kyle soon found a Hero who was his equal in almost every way skill wise, and while weakened by a somewhat incurable virus he was beaten by his nemesis in one on one combat. But before he could be taken to jail he was captured and imprisoned by aliens in the alien invasion. He survived his sickness, somehow, and awaited with bated breath a chance to escape and kill as many aliens as possible. He would then find his brother and kill him as well.
Nemesis : Annabella (Therma)
Nemesis's story :
As The Red Demon looked out over the city, standing on the roof of the tallest building in the vicinity, he could not help but to look back into the past when he was less. When he went by another name, was a person that did not strike fear into the heart and mind of every citizen that his alias was known to. He tried to shake off the eerie feeling that he had, but the current night scene presented before him reminded him of when he was a child. He recalled the night when he met her....his oldest friend and mortal enemy.
It was a calm night, stars out with a full moon, and an ever so slightly gentle breeze flowed through the air. his family was in the small town of Conton, located in the middle of nowhere. They had spent all day driving, on their way to a big city nearby to try to sell their latest patent which was a type of blender that could mix multiple fruits and added an additive that made the liquid into a whole new flavor, when their var broke down. Something was wrong with the engine, smoke billowing out of the hood of the car, so they pulled over into Conton. The small town had only one mechanic, and he was currently off. No suprise, considering it was midnight. They had a very small amount of spending money so his father and mother were trying to fix the engine themselves. They would be able to make it workable, but they needed to find shelter at least for their two boys. Conrad, being 17, and Kyle, being 12, occupied themselves but started to feel the pang of hunger.
Kyle had recently discovered his latent powers, and was playing with his brother by throwing small red balls of energy at his brother who was quickly side stepping them with his super speed.
Seventeen year old Annabella had been away from her parents, fighting crime, for a little less than a year now. She traveled all over the U.S taking down minor villains and working with other heroes to do so. At the time Anna was staying in a cheap inn located in Conton, she had been there for a couple days. The night she met Kyle and his family she had been out for a late night stroll, unable to sleep. She wondered past the family almost oblivious to her surroundings. It was highly likely she would have kept walking if it weren't for the two boys who were using their powers off to the side as there parents attempted to fix their car. They caught her attention and so she stopped, observing them for a moment before speaking to the boy's parents. "You folks need some help? I'm not a mechanic but I can help you get a place to stay until the shop opens up if need be." Again she glanced at the boys, the older of the two who seemed to be around her age. Though it was the younger who's power interested her. She had seen super speed before, it was common, but she hadn't seen anything that the younger boy could do. Her first thought was that he would make an interesting hero.
She was shocked to hear that the boy's parents could fix the vehicle but they asked if she could take the boys to get some food. They even offered her some money, which she refused. Telling them that she made a decent bit in her line of work and offering to take the two to a nearby twenty-four hour dinner
Kyle was entranced by the female stranger from the moment he laid his eyes on her for the first time. He had been in mid throw with a small energy ball when Annabella first introduced herself to his parents. Strange that a young girl such as herself had been walking alone at the cord of midnight, but still she emitted a certain confidence. Kyle threw the small ball with the intention to have it soar towards Conrad, but instead it flew higher and more to the right just narrowly missing another building and disappearing in the night sky. Conrad laughed, seeing why Kyle lost his concentration. When Annabella made her offer, Kyles parents allowed this but put Conrad in charge of keeping Kyle safe. The three went along to the diner, with Conrad talking to Annabella more than Kyle. Conrad eyed Kyle often, trying to nudge him to chime in more. Kyle was still young, and being 12 and going through his young tween phase he had no idea how to talk to girls.
Conrad made small displays of his powers, tapping his fingers fast, trying to encourage Kyle to do show his powers. Kyle awkwardly held up his hand and produced a small crystal shaped energy that hovered over his palm. He made it change shape, making it take the form of anything he saw on the table. When their food arrived, Conrad and Kyle did their usual routine when dining for the first time in a new city or town, seeing how hot and spicy they could make their food and who would crack first. Conrad planned on losing though, making it obvious to Annabella he meant no harm to Kyle, and he was able to keep sneaking more spicy seasoning onto Kyles burger using his super speed. Kyle would have noticed it if he had not been staring at the ground, looking there pretty much since Annabella showed up.
Towards the end of the night the brothers food were equally the spicy level of the heat of a volcano, and with Conrad sneaking more spice on to Kyles food, they ate their final bite. Kyles face turned extremely red, and he constructed a red bucket of energy to spit and cough into. Conrad laughed and patted Kyle on the back, winking at Annabella. These would be some of Kyles favorite memories, even after the events that would take place after a few years later.
Anna watched the brothers interact, she herself didn't get anything to eat, but instead drank several cups of water. She still wasn't the best at regulating her own temperature and her body had a natural tilt toward being hotter than what it was supposed to. She too decided to show off her ability holding out her hand for the brothers to touch as she cooled her body down to below freezing and then warmed it back up again. She also retracted her hand and grabbed a napkin. Heating her body up just enough to singe the paper like object. She had to be careful not to light her clothes on fire. She was still fascinated by Kyle's power though she could tell the boy was nervous and let him open up at his own pace.
She returned the boys to their parents about an hour later and handed them a card with her number on it. Informing them that if the boys ever wanted to get into the hero business to let her know. She wanted to see Kyle's powers in action, especially once he became more confident with them. She then headed off, back to where she was staying.
The Red Demon recollected his thoughts and ran his hand through his hair. He remembered how much fun he and his family had, and how much fun he had with Annabella. He thought on how Annabella used to be, her piercing green eyes being the only thing that really stayed the same throughout the years. He dwelled on when they used to go on patrol together, how they would go looking for trouble and how they would always find it.
The memory of when he was 15 rose up, just a year before his life was flipped upside down. He and Annabella were hanging out during the day, his parents on the job and his brother doing God know what. They were in Toki City, a rambunctious city filled with adventure and experience. Kyle and Annabella were out eating ice cream outside a cold stone when a group criminals powered by advance equipment were currently on the run from the police in their van. Kyle smiled and looked at Annabella. "I know what your thinking, and yes we should. Next time though your buying the ice cream though since we have to waste this." Kyle stood up with Annabella and walked around to the back of the store, zipping up his jacket, putting up his hood, and raising the face mask he had in his pocket. They got in Kyles family car and drove off in the direction that the chase was headed.
With Annabelle being 20 and Kyle being 15 most people would find it weird that they had become such good friends over the years. The two met up frequently in random cities and fought crime together. It was the best times of her life. Sure she worked with plenty of heroes, but none of them had become as close with her as Kyle had. As the criminals tore past Annabelle only had to look at Kyle for him to know what she wanted to do. "I don't know what you are talking about, wasting ice-cream, have you forgotten that you are the one among us that gets a brain freeze." And with that she quickly ate the rest of the frozen treat without so much as a flinch and followed Kyle behind the store. She pulled her short hair into the best ponytail she could and put on the hoodie she had on her arm, pulling the makeshift mask out of her pocket and tying it around her face afterward. Though she was an established hero by now she didn't have a costume yet, it was still in the works, not to mention the name the public had given her, heat wave, didn't fit her power set to it's full extent. They jumped in the car, but not before removing the license plate from the car so that their heroing activities couldn't be traced back to Kyle and his family.
With Anna at the wheel the two managed to catch up to the backline of the police before she veered off to take a shortcut to get up front by the van the criminals were in. This is where the two would begin to work. She didn't want to damage the car so it was good to have someone who's ability involved projectiles so no car bashing would need to happen.
Kyle sarcastically rolled his eyes when Annabella removed their license plate and hopped in the drivers side before he could take the wheel. His dad and mom had an expired license which was about the only form of ID they carried on them, so he had been taught to drive somewhat at an early age. But Annabella never let him drive when they hung out, which made Kyle laugh. That was something he really liked about her, how much she cared and how nice she could be. Plus in all honesty he knew she knew he wasn't the best driver. As they drove he touched his mask, which Annabella inspired him to have. When he first started heroing out, he never hid his face since he always travelled. But lately he found himself copying her a bit, her style as a hero. He knew she wasn't a formal hero at the moment but he had no doubt she would go on to be a legend.
As they caught up to the chase and found a way to get next to the van Kyle rolled down the window on his side. He aimed his open palm out the window and fired a single red bolt of energy at the cans door, but to no avail. It seemed that the villains had some sort of shield protecting the van since when the red projectile hit the van a blue light shimmered where the bolt hit making it dissapeara. Kyle laughed, grinned a mishevious grin, and looked at Annabella. "Please don't tell my mom and dad about what I'm about to do."
Kyle looked to make sure there was no cars next to them or any sharp turns about to be made, then unbuckled his seat belt and climbed out of the car through the window and on top of his impala. He knelt on top of the car, waiting a few seconds and ignoring Annabella's warnings and worrying. He breathed in and out, then leaped on to the top of the van. He laid there on his stomach, giving Annabella a thumbs up. He had an idea that just might work.
Kyle shifted his weight a bit so he could choose which direction he would go, then used a small blast from the palms of his hands and soles of his feet to propel himself up ever so slightly in the air. The result was he was almost immediately sent backwards, but because he was able to control which direction he went he ended up on the left side of the van, next to the car Annabella was driving. He held on to the back of the van, slowly crawling on the side of the van using his strength and small little holds he could dig his fingers into. He reached the door to the van, slid it open, then pulled himself in and shut it.
Anna watched as Kyle climbed out of the car. "You're damn right I won't be telling your parents, but you better not get hurt doing what I think you are about to do. I don't want to be the one to explain to them that I let their son basically jump from a moving vehicle onto another moving vehicle!" She yelled at him as he did exactly what she would have preferred he not do. She couldn't believe he had just done that and her heart was racing from the experience.
After a moment she managed to calm her beating heart and sped up so she remained parallel to the van. The situation was out of her hands now. It was up to Kyle and she wasn't too please about it. If he got hurt she would never hear then end of it from them. They would probably never let her see their son again. She shook the thought out of her head and did her best to watch the rode and the action in the van.
Annabelle and the criminals stayed parallel to each other while driving at fast speeds. Suddenly the door burst open on the van, with Kyle dangling out holding the chest of a black coated man with one hand and another hand holding the mans right arm keeping him from properly aiming his gun at Kyle. More people could be seen inside the van rummaging around. Suddenly Kyle pulled himself inside the van again, the door shutting behind him. After a little bit of time, the van started to swerve slightly and then suddenly veered off to the right. It stopped in front of a building, and with many noises and crash sounds Kyle was sent flying out of the double back door of the van landing on his back. Three men walked out of the van, with the driver stepping out cocking a pistol.
When the vehicle stopped and Kyle was thrown out of it, Anna slammed on the breaks and was out of the car faster then one would think she would be able to move. She managed to take the driver by surprise and disarmed him rather quickly. The male was on the ground before he could realize what had happened, he had been to focused on Kyle to notice Annabelle rush him. She handed the gun to Kyle, she hated firearms. She then stood at the ready for the criminals to attack them. Though before before anything could happen the police caught up and surrounded them. They easily handled the situation from there and thanked Annabelle and Kyle for their help, though informed them that they should just allow the police to do their jobs and not get involved. Something neither of the two would listen to.
Red Demon was brought back to the present, smiling fondly without realizing it as the old memory began to fade. He held up a hand to his face, clenching it into a fist and realizing how different he used to be. Physically and mentally. When he was a kid he was a gawky, towering, goof ball. Then as he aged more, growing from a young teen into a young adult. He remembered by the time he was 18, he had looked so much different, and another memory began to roll past his eyes.
Kyle, age 18, was standing in the middle of the mueseum where the display event of the an extremely rare relic diamond was being showcased to the public. Kyle had ended up partnering with a small gang of criminals to help him steal the diamond during the one day it was not guarded with extreme prejudice. By now in his life, it had been two years since his parents were murdered, and a little over a year since he turned villain. He was wearing his soon to be traditional costume, except he was also wearing a dark brown jacket, a black hood and lower face mask, and he had gun sheaves on his belt and legs. He was in mid robbery at the moment, holding up a single handgun in his right hand while walking towards the pedestal. The mueseum visitors and staff were all kneeling on the ground while members of the partnered up gang were roaming the room making sure no one did anything stupid.
After Kyle's parents died, Annabelle had lost contact with her friend. She tried everything to find him but to no avail, it seemed he had ghosted. During this time she had become a pro hero, got herself a new costume, and started going by the name Therma, instead of the name previously given to her by the public. Her appearance had change drastically as well. Whereas she had begun to sport longer hair she had gone back to the short style she had when she was a teen. She had also opted for wearing contacts when in costume, rather than keeping her glasses on.
Anna had been tracking a hero who had a similar ability to her old friend's for weeks now. It seemed the villain was always on the move, however she had finally managed to catch up to him. She herself teamed up with a group of heroes who were headed to the museum to stop the robbery, and hostage situation. Upon arriving at the scene one of the heroes snuck in and took out the criminals that were on guard and from there the rest of them moved in. Quickly storming the jewel room where the rest of the criminals were located. A fight was to ensue and the slow evacuation of hostages took place at the same time. The group of 5 heroes, 4 excluding the one who was evacuating people, split up to take down the gang, and Annabelle ended up face to face with the man holding the jewel. "I suggest you put that down." She said, staff at the ready.
Kyle frowned. To say the least he was surprised by how fast his partners had been taken down but so far it was not a total bust. He had the diamond in his left hand, his right hand by his side with a clenched fist. All he needed to do was to either stall for time, or make an emergency exit. One hero was enough to handle but Red Demon knew five heroes would have been......not preferred. His eyes scanned the room. Looking at all exits in sight while still facing the heroine.
"And if I did, can I go free? Or maybe we can sit down together for a cup of coffee? Or maybe we can set aside our differences and work together to unite heroes and villains?"
Red Demon walked in a circle with the heroine, neither one able to make a move without the other reacting. He twitched his hand and suddenly a red light flashed, and when the flash went away a red sword made of pure energy, clear in design, in his right hand. He twirled his sword a few times.
"Have You ever danced with the devil?"
With that Red Demon lunged forward, dashing quickly into close quarters with the heroine, and just as quickly he mentally willed his sword to change shape. His sword shimmered, then changed shape into a glove that fit his hand. The diamond secure in his left hand which was also covered in a red glove. As he threw multiple jabs and guarded against the heroines attack he spoke.
"I am the Red Demon by the way."
Therma snickered at his comments, the banter wasn't something she was used to when it came to crime fighting. She chose to ignore his question about what would happen if he put the jewel down. It was irrelevant, he wasn't going to. She watched him carefully, her body tense, ready to react to his moves. She would not attack first, it was not her fighting style. Instead she mimicked his circling motion.
"You know you have quite the wit, careful though, you might get burned."
She immediately raised her body temperature, her metal staff conducting the heat and the whole thing began to glow red from the heat. She had burned to many wooden staves in her youth so she opted for a metal one to extend the reach of her ability. She would have easily parried his attack had he not switch tactics half way through the strike, the first blow hit her, hard, but she managed to regain composure and easily blocked the rest of the attacks with her staff.
"Red demon huh, interesting name for someone who doesn't look all that intimidating," She was provoking him, she found that most people didn't fight as well if she could get them irritated at least. "but you can call me Therma, the name is much more fitting of my power set than yours." She moved to strike his legs with her staff, attempting to either cause him to lose his balance or knock him off his feet entirely. Either way would work in her favor.
By now most of the other criminals had been taken down and the other heroes were ready to jump in and help Therma should she need it, though she motioned for them to stay out of it until needed. She wanted this to be a fair fight.
Red Demon became unbalanced from the strike to the feet by Thermas staff, so after a receiving a few more quick strikes from her he grunted loudly and was suddenly encased in a red glow that emitted from his own body. Then, as quickly as he was encased by the red glow, the light shimmered a bit then reshaped itself into red constructed armor. His eyes had a red tint around the socket, his chest had a red flak jacket with spiked shoulder pads, with spiked boots and spiked gloves that stretched down the length of his arm. Red Demon crossed his arms and pushed forward, making Therma back off a bit.
"I am not called a demon because of my appearance, I am called a demon.."
Red Demon smiled, suddenly whipping out the two pistols out of his belt and shooting the two closest heroes that brought with her in chest, then dropping his guns so that he could draw the two handguns from off his legs quicker and shot twice at the other two heroes that Therma brought with her. The bullets hit the third hero in the stomach and shoulder, and the fourth in his knee cap and shin.
"Because I embrace my humanity. I embrace the fact that humans are evil naturally, and choose to act like the demon that we all harbor."
Red Demon aimed quickly at Therma, who reacted to his attack while he was speaking, and fire twice from both guns.
Thermal wasn't able to react quickly enough to the first set of shots, and neither were the heroes the shots were aimed at. The second round the heroes managed to move but not fast enough. Everything seemed to move in slow motion by the time the guns were aimed at her. She managed to avoid most of the shots fired in her direction though one managed to lodge itself in her arm, and other pinged off the staff in a random direction. She hissed in pain and cooled her body so her heartbeat slowed and her blood flowed slower. This as a way to both stop her from bleeding out and minimize the spread of any gunpowder or other foreign contaminants from the bullet. Her skin turned a light blue color and the still heated staff began to steam around where she was holding it from the sudden change in temperature.
"Sure humans are inherently evil, but that doesn't mean they aren't capable of doing good." She backed away from him as she spoke, knowing she wasn't going to be able to fight him now that she was injured. She was still ready to defend herself should he chose to attack her again. She moved to the most injured of her team and kneeled next to them. "Such a shame, such a wonderful power could be used for better things then petty thefts and criminal deeds." His power was so similar to her old friend's that her mind wondered to him. "I had a friend a while back, he went missing, but the kid, who he was when I knew him, never would have used his powers to hurt innocent people." She looked toward her injured team. "Just go, none of us are able to fight you, take your dumb jewel and get out of here, next time we cross paths things won't be the same." She really hoped the man just left, she wasn't interested in fighting to the death at the moment.
Red Demon raised an eyebrow. He truly did not expect her to surrender like that. Well....she did not really surrender but she essentially just gave up. He raised one gun up to Therma, and took aim.
"A mighty heroine, brought down. Tragic. I should just put you out of your misery.....but maybe thats not necessary I think. Just remember next time you go out to save the day, you failed before and you will fail again. You failed these heroes, you failed the people of these cities, and I bet you failed your friend. But it is interesting to hear another has a similair power set as me. Maybe I will look for him."
The Red demon sheathed his weapons, powered down, and strolled out the front door of the meuseum. More screams could be heard, and gunfire as the police outside tried and failed to stop him.
The memory ended and The Red Demon laughed softly to himself. Knowing what he knew now, he was not entirely pleased with how that situation played out, but did not regret a thing. That was so long ago, and he was so different. Thinking of this and end of that memory brought one more memory to his mind, something more recent and something that filled him with rage beyond measure. This was only a few months ago, the current date being september 1'st and the date of this memory april 4'th, the exact date sticking into his mind. The day he and Therma found out who each other were underneath their mask, and the day he was defeated for the first time since he fought his brother.
Member Online A couple years past and the two had continued to fight, unfortunately Annabelle never succeeded in bringing down the man she would soon find out was her old friend. It was more than frustrating for the heroine. April 4th, sometime in the evening, a call went out over the police scanners informing them that an armed robbery was taking place at a nearby bank. The culprit was none other than The Red Demon. Thermal had been listening on the scanners all night, trying to find, something, anything to do to get her mind off the virus that was spreading around. Several of her super powered friends had already fallen to the virus. Thus far she had only managed to fight it off because of her ability to change her body temperature. Annabelle suited up as she continued to listen to the scanner. Reportedly the Red Demon appeared weaker than normal though he was still fighting off the police fairly well.
Therma arrived at the scene just as Red was trying to make his grand getaway, having taken down most of the police in the area. It was then she stepped in his way, staff already red from the heat. "We meet again Red. Another petty robbery I see." She had refrained from calling him by his full name, one because it was a mouthful and two, because she didn't care to use it all in the first place.
The Red Demon was infected with the virus that had been sweeping the nation, somehow surviving but incredibly weakened from the illness. He had no idea how he truly survived, considering the state he used to be in, the only thing he knew was that he just could not die yet, he refused to accept death as an outcome. At least not before he exacted his revenge. During the time he was sick he spent much of his fortune on medicine and black market doctors, leaving him almost penniless. He needed money, to fund his criminal empire he would use to combat his brothers, and he needed to somehow make as much of it back as possible. With others still recovering, he felt it was time for The Red Demon to make a comeback, so he set his sights on a rather well secured bank. It was something slightly over played but still effective as hell in making the cash flow as smoothly as possible again. His lackeys were able to take down the security team inside, and he had men funneling the money out of the bank while he fought off any police or heroes well enough to try to stop him.
When his men had taken as much money from the bank as they could, Red Demon ordered a complete evacuation of all of his people. As he prepared to leave in a flash of red lasers, Therma stepped up to the scene brandishing the bow staff he knew so well. The police backed off, thankful there was a hero here.
"This would be so much easier if you just laid down and died like a good little hero. I am in no mood for these games of ours at the moment so begone."
Red Demon generated two dual sided red energy blades, and a set of red power armor. He panted slightly for a moment then recollected himself. Underneath his energy mask and helmet he was slightly pale, and a bead of sweat ran down his face. He had never felt so weak before, but he refused to give up now. His constructs shimmered slightly then solidified again.
"How may times have we done this? The outcome never changes, you refuse to kill me and can never capture me or I injure you and you escape."
Therma watched him carefully. She could tell he was ill. It was obvious even though he tried to hide it. "Oh hun, I'm a hero, you know I can't stop. Thanks for the cool battle scars though. I do enjoy them so." With that she charged at him. I think was the first time she made the first move. She was sure that this action would throw him off, at least a little bit. She aimed the end of her hot staff into his stomach. The impact would be enough to stagger him though with the armor he wore gen likely wouldn't sustain any seriou injuries.
Red Demon, thrown off guard by getting pressed first, tried to swing his swords as he received a hit from Thermas staff. The spot where the staff hit changed from red to white than shattered that part of the armor, causing his arms to swing over Thermas head missing her. He staggered backwards, pissed off. He lunged forward, changing from swords to simple blasts from the palm of his hands, and tried to blast her. His attacks accuracy was low though and while he did aim at her and would hit her if she did not block his attacks most of the time his attacks could Be deflected off to the side where they would be stopped by a building.
Therma was pleased that her initial attack caught The Red Demon off guard. She had successfully made the first move. She jumped back and easily deflected his attacks. Almost too easily for her liking. She knew something was off now but she said nothing instead she continued her attack moving in once again to know him off his feet. It was honestly a move she had done so often she wouldn't be surprised if he dodged it, but seeing as she could tell he wasn't feeling well now was a good a time as any to use it. If she could knock him over she could press the end of her staff into the area that was no longer armored and it would be ensured victory. The downside was she had to get close in order to pull off the move, within arm's reach at least. She had to be careful so that she wasn't pulled down with him.
Red Demon grunted and pressed forward as Therma moved in to attack again. He thought it out as fast as he could, realizing he was at a disadvantage. He was weaker than normal, his attacks were less impacting, his movements were sluggish, and his senses were dulled. He barely had any energy stored, so he only had a few more attacks in him, realizing he could not charge energy in time if he ran out. Ats the last second he realized something, and shifted his body weight heavily so that he almost was thrown sideways by himself. Therma tried striking him in the broken part of his energy chest plate, to which he was able to dodge just barely. He threw a non powered punch, hitting her with an upper cut, to which she hit back even harder with her fighting style. This went on for a short amount of time, Red Demon using energy attacks less and less until all of his energy armor dissapeared in a shimmering light. The two were engaged in close combat, almost at the end of their battle. Their fight had taken them out of the area, with Therma chasing Red Demon as he tried to escae. They ended up at an old pier near the cities lighthouse which was only a few miles away from the bank. On the pier, Red Demon threw what he assumed to be his last punch. He was exaughsted, and sweat could clearly be seen from his face. His hair was matted down, his breathing was heavy, and his skin color was even paler. Therma struck him as well, both landing hits on each others face. Therma's attack hit harder, sending Red Demon spiraling backwards. What Red Demon did not expect was when she did she accidently knocked off his face mask, revealing his secret identity. He landed on his back, breathing hard with his eyes closed. He felt his face, feeling something was off, and realized she knocked his mask off.
"F**k"
Therma's breathing was heavy, she had never been in such an intense hand to hand fight with the villain before. She had also never succeeded in taking him down before. She knocked him on his back after they exchanged blows, unknowingly removing his mask in the process. She also hadn't noticed that in the heat of the battle her hood had fallen, though her face mask remained in place. She walked toward him but stopped short upon seeing his face. He was older, and he had definitely changed but she recognized the face.
"Kyle?" She questioned aloud without realizing it. She was in total shock. So much so that the sound of approaching sirens didn't register in her mind. Everything seemed to slow, except for the two of them. She had to be seeing things, there was no way this villain was her long lost friend. She had to be wrong, this man was not Kyle, he couldn't be, but yet all the evidence lined up. He looked like Kyle, had the same powers as him, though obviously more developed. She stood in place, and couldn't help but tear up a little at the thought, she hoped she was wrong. She didn't want the man she had been fighting for the past years to be the kid she fought crime with in her early hero years.
Red Demon squinted his eyes, suprised Therma knew his old name. Well suprised doesnt really cover it, he did not have a word for his level of shocked. Even when he was Kyle, not many people knew his name. He slowly shook himself off, trembling as he stood up.
"How do you know that name?"
Therma was at a lose for words. It took her a moment to process they he had spoken and another moment to comprehend what he had said. So it was Kyle. There was no denying it now. Though she had no clue how to react. "I...um...It's me...Annabelle." She stumbled over her words not even fully sure what she was saying, and pulled down her face mask. The tears that had been forming in her green eyes were about to spill over, though she held them back as much as she could. She wanted to hug him, and also run from him, but she was frozen in her place, she couldn't bring herself to take a step in one direction or the other. "What happened to you? You dropped off the face of the planet, I spent years trying to find you, hell I am, was, still trying." She shook her head, still not fully able to believe what she was seeing.
Kyle blinked twice, then almost doubled over in laughter. He hunched over, holding his stomach as he laughed, after a few seconds he flew into a coughing fit. When Kyle was able to stop coughing and calm himself, he looked at the hand that had been covering his mouth to see a few drops of blood covering his palm. He clenched his hand into a fist and frowned at Annabella.
"That..that was something huh? I needed that, I really did so thank you. Its been awhile but dont act so familiar with me Annie. A lot has changed. I did not dissapear, I died. I died the same day my parents died, by the hands of my brother. I did not realize it at the time that I died, so I went on trying to hero my problems away."
Kyle raised his arms and outstretched them to his side.
"I relalized that being a hero is a pointless endeavor. Crime never goes away, people are killed everyday, kids are left orphaned by cruel monsters, nothing ever changes!"
Kyle lowered his arms to his side, and closed his eyes. He sighed deeply.
"My brother has built an entire criminal empire, an unstoppable villain. I realized that to beat him, to kill him, to avenge my parents, I would need to step outside the law and abandon my morals. I have built my own criminal empire and left a mark on this world greater than any mark I could have made as a hero."
Kyle opened his eyes and stared deeply at Annabella. Some part of him, a part he would never open admit to having, did truly miss her. She meant so much to him at one point, and out of everyone he abandoned he realized he only ever really cared about how it would affect her.
"So....why did you look for me. You did a really shit job of it, I am on tv all the time. Well The Red Demon is but thats besides the point."
Anna choked back the tears and wiped them from her eyes. Now was not the time for crying. She was rather annoyed that he had laughed at her and called her Annie he knew she hated being called that, but concerned when he started coughing. She was right, he was ill.
"Kyle, one thing hasn't changed, you are still a little shit. Why didn't you come to me, I could have helped you. You are right, crime never goes away, that is why there are heroes and police, to protect the innocent as best as possible. We aren't perfect, nobody is." She stepped toward him, finally able to move and continued. "I looked for you, I did, and I always had the sneaking suspicion that The Red Demon was you from our first encounter, I just didn't want to except it. I couldn't except that my only friend would abandon his morals and turn to the life of the kid of people we used to fight together." She wanted to tell him that his parents would be disappointed in him but knew that would only throw gasoline on the fire. She took a deep breath the world finally returning to normal speed. Anna heard the sirens now, closer than she wanted them to be. If she was being honest with herself, she wanted to help Kyle escape, she didn't want to see him locked up, but she didn't want to see him continue in the life of crime either.
"I looked for you because you were my only real friend. The only person I could actually count on to have my back through everything. I wanted to be there for you but you ghosted on me. You refused to let me in when you needed me the most and now you are a villain. I am disappointed in you. I would have helped you take down your brother. Hell to be perfectly honest I would have helped you kill the bastard." She looked away, toward to police and swat cars that were pulling up. "I really hope this virus doesn't kill you because I want to knock some sense into you later on." With that she pulled her mask back over her face and put her hood back on, her staff once again at the ready in case he tried to take off. She would not let him get away. Not this time, not ever again.
Kyle heard the sirens approaching and realized he was out of time. He needed to escape now, or risk being captured by the police. He bent over and picked up his mask off the ground dusting it off.
"You are so naive...Therma. I will never die so long as my brother draws breath. So changing the subject to the current situation,"
Kyle put his mask back on, returning to the identity of The Red Demon.
"For now, we will call this my loss but I refuse to submit."
He ran forward, slow, ready to throw a punch.
"Ordinarily you would win this fight but the virus has made you too weak, I am sorry my friend but you are not getting away this time." She easily diverted his punch and threw him to the ground, his arm held behind his back. She shoved her knee into his back to make it harder for him to fight her.
The Red Demon smiled as he was countered, turned around, and defeated. He was captured by the police, eyeing Annabella the time and showing how unashamed he was. Every villain gets captured at least once, so he just counted this as his luck running out. But he knew he would escape sooner rather than later. Little did he know, just around the corner, a bigger threat was lying in wait.
Appearance: Costume: Costume is heat resistant as to stop her from accidentally burning off her clothes.
Written Description: Shoulder length dark brown hair, deep green eyes, stands at about 5 feet 2 inches with a slim, yet slightly muscular frame despite her small appearance.
Power Set: Body Temperature Manipulation- Anna is capable of cooling her own body to about 26 degrees Fahrenheit (-3 Celsius) which in turn slows her heartbeat and blood flow to the point were she could be mistaken for dead. She can also heating her body to 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 Celsius) she can burn flesh and light things on fire at this temperature. This means that most extreme temperatures do not bother her, this also makes her mostly resistant to being burned or frozen. However her body will still go into shock if her temperature is changed to drastically very quickly. Even more so if her body temp is not within the normal human range. Meaning if her temp was below average and she was suddenly exposed to immense heat her body would go into shock.
Background Story: Born and in Kodiak Alaska to a pair of researchers Annabelle spent much of her life in the wilderness and traveling all over Alaska. She learned early on to fight for the things she believed in. Her parents taught her to defend herself when she was about 10 though they preferred to teach her Aikido a form of martial art that focused more on simply defending and disengaging than anything else Her parents knew the basics of it and passed that knowledge onto Anna.
Her parents were mugged when she was 12 and so Anna requested that she be able to learn to defend herself at a more professional level. Her parents agreed and they took up a more permanent position in Fairbanks and Anna found someone to teach her Aikido. When Annabelle was 16 she had achieved blackbelt in the fighting style.
Annabelle first discovered her powers when she was iceskating on a pond with some friends. She managed to find a weak spot in the ice and fell through. Upon being retrieved from the water she began to simply think about how it would feel to be warm again and she body became hotter. Though she had no clue how to stop the rise in temperature and ended up hotter than she intended, causing her soaked clothes to steam. It took a while for her to regulate her temperature again and spent the next year concentration on keeping her ability in check. It was during this time that she decided she would become a hero, fighting for the people who couldn’t protect themselves.
Years later, when the virus hit Annabelle had become an accomplished hero around the world, though she never fought alone. Somehow, after going into isolation, Annabelle managed to fight off the virus and became one of the few that survived. Then the aliens invaded. She was one of the heroes on the front lines fighting off the invaders, it was then that she was captured.
Other: Skilled in hand to hand though she prefers to use a staff to fight with to extend her reach
Nemesis: Kyle/The Red Demon
Annabelle had absolutely nothing going for her sitting in the cell, unable to use her powers, unable to escape, so she had plenty of time to look back on her life and live in her memories. She was often brought back to when she first met her oldest friend and nemesis.
Telling them that she made a decent bit in her line of work and offering to take the two to a nearby twenty-four hour dinner.
Annabelle was brought back the the present. A place she didn’t like to stay long and so she plunged back into her memories. Another fond memory she had was when she was 20. A rather eventful day with Kyle.
Once again the memory faded. A stupid grin on Anna’s face. However the smile faded when yet another memory popped into her head. This one years later, after Kyle’s parents had died. It was the first time the two had encounter one another as hero and villain. Though neither knew it at the time.
"I am the Red Demon by the way.”
The memory ended and Anna’s mind wondered to the most recent memory she had of Kyle, the night she beat him, and the night she found out who he was. It was April 4th, a date forever etched into her memory.
A couple years past and the two had continued to fight, unfortunately Annabelle never succeeded in bringing down the man she would soon find out was her old friend.
The outcome never changes, you refuse to kill me and can never capture me or I injure you and you escape.”
"F**k”
"How do you know that name?”
Well The Red Demon is but thats besides the point.”
Nothing could have prepared them for the threat that came afterward the reason she was stuck in this hell hole with nothing better to do than look back on old memories while her will to fight is slowly sapped from her.
Power Set (only one power per character): Shadow Mimicry Ollie can transform his body completely into shadow. Once this has occurred, although anatomically similar he would be entirely composed of shadow. In this form, he can manipulate darkness, from extending shadows to blocking out light from a room, although; this shadow form is quite powerful as a being he is more vulnerable to attacks a reasonable attack on his shadow form would do twice the internal damage it would do to an average human. Alternatively, Ollie can turn into homogenous matter. When active, Ollie can assume a two-dimensional form, and extend outward to become a larger shadow, blend into shadows completely, or even teleport through them. Although many times more powerful, the amount of concentration required for Ollie to obtain this form means that it is only obtainable at periods of extreme darkness. Once in this state, he is considered an only half physical being, which energy flows through his being, giving extra protection to vital organs bones and systems.
Background story: Ollie was born into a harsh family, surviving on the edge of poverty and struggling to feed every member. From his perspective, his family were unmistakably oppressed. His father, a previous council member, had been dishonourably retired from his position to no fault of his own, and with his reputation ruined he was no longer able to work, leaving his mother to care for the family as well as produce an income. Ollie did well for himself, considering his past, managing to get a placement at a university to study Asian History. His grandfather always used proverbs from Sun Tzu’s ‘the art of war' which led him to gain interest in the subject.
It was on his 21st birthday when he discovered his powers, during his party in which Ollie had invited his old school friends and family, the police raided his house due to allegations of class A drugs as well as bribery of an official. When Ollie saw the cops dragging his father away, he was enraged, activating his abilities. He doesn’t remember a lot of the events that transpired. From what Ollie could recall; The world turned monochromatic, and Ollie felt about two foot taller, Ollie remembered flailing at the police squad and throwing them around like they were nothing. He only remembered waking up the next day in a patch of woodland. Ollie tried going back to his family, but they were under armed guard, Ollie was pretty sure that people would be looking for him by now. He went back to the woodland and started trying to recall the powers, evoking that same anger, slowly trying to piece together how his powers worked. He was barely surviving once he had mastered his shadow form, only gathering food from waste and scraps.
With his shadow form close to learned he took to a store and robbed it for supplies, the shop keeper could do little to stop him. He didn’t exactly like cheating from the innocent he understood it was a necessary evil to return to society. He didn’t classify it as theft as he had paid with the leftover change he had collected over the past week, it probably wasn’t enough, but the thought still counts. This trend continued robbing small stores for a little bit of food and water, but after time his needs grew, and he was taking more. His eventual goal; to find the source of his father's misery. He followed lead after lead, waiting for the chance to reclaim his father’s dignity. Just when he had nearly given up, he was tipped off about a police detective who had supposedly found the evidence for his parents' incarceration. When confronted he admitted his wrong doings, but with anger taking over, Ollie’s feelings turned to rage, causing him to beat down the police officer furiously. It didn’t take long for a member of the public to call the cops, causing Ollie to run once again. He paused for a moment and made a promise to eliminate any form of corruption wherever he saw it. With whatever it took and destroyed whoever crossed his path
He spent roughly ten years seeking out organisations and hunting them down. That was before the aliens invaded. Ollie continued to set out upon his tasks but finding aliens at every other corner was becoming more than an annoyance. The Aliens were better equipped and much stronger than his common targets. Upon following up on an old case he stumbled into an alien controlled stronghold, his powers helped him survive for a small time, but it didn't take long before they had surrounded him.

Nemesis's story (how did they meet ? who won ? etc. This should be coordinated with the player that is your nemesis):
Name: Quinton Hayes Alias: None. Age: 23. Gender: Male Allegiance: Hero. Image: Written Description: Typically in a tanktop, jeans (may vary in color), and steel toe boots.
Power Set (only one power per character): Cyrokinesis: One who can generate and utilize ice in a variety of ways. Above 212 celsius, his ice begins to melt. Extreme weakness to heat.
Background story: Southside of Chicago, Cabrini Green Projects, 2019. 8pm.
A black Honda Accord halts its advance along the curb; Hayes walks alone to the store, "Be home by 9:30, boy! No later!" his mother's incessant imperative rang through his head. Warm summer air swept soft overhead, the compact heat of a Chicago summer relaxes one's soul--or harpoons it with hatred. Streetlights were lit the sidewalk, though they offered no proper visual aid for anyone trying to make it to their destination with any semblance of punctuality, and the Accord's headlights blended all too well. Car doors jut open.
"'Q!" called Sonya, a young Hispanic girl with pink barretes, she rode a pink Hasbro tricycle without training wheels. She'd grow up to become an independent woman. Andre smiles at her as she offers him the remnants of her red sucker--
Bang, bang, bang.
Protocol. Quinton dives atop his young friend and covers her; gang related shootings were all too common on the southside, and the gang violence had become tradition, one kids like Quinton and Sonya had come to know all too well. Quinton had been on the wrong end of several shootouts even this early in life, but this time was different. He wasn't with the older kids from the neighborhood--he couldn't rely on them to shoot back. All he could do is pray, and praying ain't known to stop no bullets. Quinton closed his eyes and prayed, just as his grandmother taught him--the deafening blare of the gunshots died suddenly, a raspy voice commands amidst the growing silence, "Come on, nigga, let's go!" Whoever they were, they were satisfied with their work.
But their work was unfinished. Screams pierced the air as arrows to a bullseye. Quinton heaved inward--wait, what? I'm alive? The bullets were encased in ice, frozen solid in mid-air. He was dumbfoundead with shock, fear, awe; what is this? All he knew was that he was alive, and so was Sonya. Quinton stood up and snatched Sonya in his arms and smiled. Something monumental had happened, and he knew he had to tell someone. He sprinted home. "Ma, MA!"
Southside of Chicago, Cabrini Green Projects, 2028.
In the intervening years, Quinton had become a hero throughout his neighborhood, gang related violence and shootings in and around the Cabrini-Green housing projects plummeted to nigh-nothing. He had become a local legend and had attracted many friends--and enemies. And then the aliens came. One by one, "the Plague" decimated the Hero and Villain population alike. Even some of Quinton's closest powered friends met swift ends. He was lucky he had survived. Or so he thought; Cabrini-Green had several "mysterious sightings" in the days leading up to the invasion, and as one of the few powered individuals left, it was Hayes' duty to defend his neighborhood. Doom loomed, and eventually the aliens descended on the projects with unbridled force; Briggs fought with valiance, but it was futile. He was captured like the rest of the remaining powereds.
Nemesis (the alias and username):
Nemesis's story (how did they meet ? who won ? etc. This should be coordinated with the player that is your nemesis):
(If you need me to add more to his backstory, I will.)
Written Description: Damon is tall standing at 6 foot 1 with dark hair and cool grey eyes. He lacks an actual super suit per say and rather opts for whatever he is wearing especially considering his abilities. Often removing his shirt to expose most of his tattoos. The only thing hiding his identity is a simple black mask he wears. The most unique features about him are his array of tattoos that almost seem to pulse with a life of their own. His build is much like an archer lean but clearly capable.
Power Set (only one power per character) : Tattoo to life: in essence his tattoos can go from on his skin to in reality able to fight on their own showing their own animalistic intelligence but still controlled by Damon. For example the three wolves on his chest can seep from his skin onto the ground at equal size of a real wolf. (Though considering they are tribal the wolves' fur have the same tribal markings on them) they are then able to attack a target or multiple targets.
If his tattoo is "killed" they re appear on his skin and he gets pain. If a wound goes through a tattoo the tattoo will have the same wound if they appear and it hurts Damon to "summon" them, The only tattoo without its own intelligence is a pair of wings on his back.
He is also capable of seeing through the tattoos eyes as well
Background story: Damon was born to a drug addict mother who very quickly abandoned him. Not necessarily a bad thing, but he did find himself moving from home to home as he was adopted then taken back to the foster system. He was odd...and he was born with what looked like tattoos of wings on his back. They were incredibly detailed with talons on the bends of the wings.
Feeling alone and rather unwanted he tried to make himself more sociable. Maybe more likeable. At age 12 he finally found himself in a home. Both parents worked and he hardly saw them, but it was something. He was more of a ghost in school. No close friends but a few friends that didn't know him too well.
At age 13 he was welcomed to the world of being bullied. This caused a ball of hatred to form within him until at age 14 he beat a guy who was bullying another. The guy had received a broken nose and a bruised eye...along with a torn ear from Damon ripping out his earring. He was expelled and found himself in juvenile jail...where he spiraled into the mind set that the world was never fair and that the bullies needed to be bullied.
He did manage to go back to school, but he seemed different. Muscles that were toned and a facial expression that made people think twice. He graduated at 18 and discovered his ability after being shoved off a buildings balcony.
Those wings he had always had unfurled and became real...as if he was meant to have wings, from that point on he got more tattoos (all tribal) and began his role as a sort of punisher.
Flashing forward he found himself in a battle with his nemesis. Long story short..they won and he pulled himself into hiding. It was then he was captured by the aliens.
Tattoo list with locations: Pair of wings with talons on the bend-Back Trio of tribal wolves-across upper chest King cobra-winds around right arm Asian dragon (when summoned is about horse sized. Capable of fire breathing. Most painful to summon)-winds around left arm Spider (seems to be black widow inspired. Venom is equal to brown recluse)-right hand Falcon-Left hip Puma-Right hip Hummingbird-Neck left side
Power Set : Despite what her alias may suggest, Lynda does not copy another power. Instead what she does is her entire body can turn into any material that she contacts. So if she touches a tree she can turn into wood, if she touches steel she can become steel, and so on. At this point she can only mimic solid materials but she is still learning. When mimicking denser, heavier materials her strength scales to allow her to move normally.
Background story (where was your character born ? How did he become a hero/villain ? How was he caught ?) : The impact of superpowers in Mexico turned an already tumultuous country upside down. Naomi was born in a small town in Sinaloa, Mexico. By this point the war between the government and cartels was in full swing with both sides employing conventional weapons alongside supers. Anyone found with powers was snatched up by one side or the other. In Naomi's case she got picked up by the regional cartel at an early age.
Moved around quite a bit to or from one fight to the next Naomi became decently proficient with her abilities. Effectively a child soldier she didn't question orders given by those she saw as family. Eventually though things started to get more difficult as The Collective came in and dashed the cartel Naomi was in. After that the stragglers went off on her own. Heading north to the US she started a new gig as a solo villain.
During the viral spread Naomi managed to avoid getting sick for a while before the strain adapted around her ability to change her physical body. She was hit hard as she lost control of her ability and would change at every touch. Basically exhausted from the constant shifting, when the aliens arrived she was MIA and already in hiding.
The whole invasion happened while she was underground and under the radar. By the time she recovered from the virus the fight was already over. Staying low she waited and watched, only making moves needed to survive to avoid capture. Eventually though a scour group from the Resistance crossed her path and they took her in. Brought to base camp Naomi felt more at home with the ragged band of survivors, though she was not always agreeable.
Nemesis (the alias and username) : Ignis
Nemesis's story (how did they meet ? who won ? etc. This should be coordinated with the player that is your nemesis) : Their meeting was more a run in than anything. Naomi had moved into the territory of the resident heroine, Ignis. The electrokinetic woman took an odd liking to the Latino, much to the latter's frustration. Thwarting Naomi's plans for reasons other than being the "right thing to do" the two became nemesis simply because Ignis wouldn't leave well enough alone.
