I mean anyone works, personally, I think darkness and temperature work quite well, but I'm probably biased on that one, In my opinion, the Red Demon could work with either hero at the moment. but I also think the kineticist would match powers quite well, making an even match. To be honest I have no idea.

depends if someone makes another character to be your nemesis. i volunteered to make a hero but am waiting on Timemaster's reply in PM

@GeneralNox That'd be interesting, but Lightning Bolts don't have kinetic impact. They are purely electrical and thermal energy.

They may not have kinetic impact themselves, but as electricity ionizes the air around it, it creates kinetic energy of the surrounding particles. So true, I wouldn't be able to redirect the lightening bolt itself per se, i can act upon the kinetic energy surrounding it, and control the air particles. No escape of kinetic energy from the throw, no lightening. Or at least, redirection of the ionized air.

I apologise. Not trying to start anything. I can see how what I posted may be deemed confrontational. No redirection of lightening, got it XD. Still amkes sense for us to be nemesis, since we both control and manipulate different energy types.

I didn't want to make it seem like I was being hostile, just pointing out the flaw. Since Lightning bolts are not actually a physical object then they would not be affected by redirected air. However, reflection of her railgun capabilities would be interesting, and with sufficent kinetic force, you could cause a small portion of air to become semi-solid for the split-second that the lightning bolt hits it for, making a barrier. @GeneralNox

As an egotistical scientist with a need to prove himself right and better than others, I can see Ken Vector having sought you out, after hearing about your manipulation of a different kind of energy.

@dabombjk Well when it comes down to which is more logically combat-able, energy or shadow manipulation, for Therma the energy seems to be the more logical of the two. She tends to use her powers to make herself untouchable or undetectable rather than to fight preferring to use Aikido and her staff. She would need something solid to be able to hit back and a shadow entity isn't the most solid.

As for when it comes down to morals and backstory, the both hold family to a high standard, so the same family views, but different results would be interesting to play with. Anna trying to figure out just when his standards dropped low enough to become a villain, things like that. I could easily see tradeoffs on who would win in a fight. Occasionally Annabelle would get the upperhand and occasionally Kyle would, it would all depend on the situation and where they were. Especially since Anna is resistant to extreme temps and is capable of lighting things on fire.

Sorry I rambled a bit, some of that may not have made any sense, but in short yes I can see the two being compatible nemesis.

Something funny, I saw this mention of me in the thisnpost, saw how large it was, got scared, went to the kitchen, grabbed a Mountain Dew, a bag of salt and vinegar potato chips, turned on family guy, watched a few minutes of an episode, mustered up the courage to skip to the end of the post to see what your final answer would be, then when I saw the last sentence I calmed myself and read the entire post. I was intimidated slightly at first and cared of your response because I thought you were mad
