Wrapping her arms tighter around herself, Ele let her gaze drop back to the ground, feeling exhausted and confused. She followed Tyler quietly into the house and stood in the entryway. Ele had been on her own,for so long, she had no idea what to do now.

Walking in cautiously, Ele went over to the couch and sat on the far end. She didn't know why she felt out of place now, she had been in Tyler's house before. Perhaps it was due to how raw and exposed she felt, with all of her emotions out in full view,

"What are you watching?"

She asked quietly.

Ele clarified, not moving to extend the recliner. She was comfortable as she was,

He looks over at her.

Watching the video the car gets lined up and takes off, flying down the strip.

"A lavender and silver chrome would be beautiful,"

She agreed, daring a look at Tyler now. Ele looked exhausted, her energy drained from the emotions she had just gone through. This was an easy topic to talk about though.

"Silver in some lights, lavender in others."

"There is something called chameleon or pearlescent. At one angle it would look one color but as you move around it the color completely changes to another. I don't know if we could get an actual lavender but I am sure we could do purple to silver. Could do a chrome paint with some kind of pearl."

He says still watching the video.

"Oh watch this truck. It is ridiculous, makes a bunch of power but still manages 21 miles per gallon."

The truck rolls up and a turbine like sound can be heard as the truck begins staging. As it triggers the second set of lights the truck gets louder and louder until it roars with wide open throttle. The truck flies down the track.

"But yeah, there are so many pearl paints to choose from we could do so much to it."

((My first car was a '99 Buick Regal LS with brown/purple/gold chameleon paint. Made for some interesting conversations. Dang, I miss that boat. Stupidly overpowered for a sedan, but it was so fun to drive!))

Ele nodded and went quiet again. She wasn't about to begin talking about the Miata, it was going to be a great car once it was fixed up but for now it was a point of contention with her. Turning so her side was against the back of the couch and she was facing Tyler, Ele kept her eyes on the TV but it was hard to keep them open. It wasn't that she was bored, she was just drained.
