It took a while into the movie, but Ele spent moments every so often scooting closer to Tyler until part way through she was close enough to rest her head on his shoulder. Tilting her neck to the side, Ele lowered her head until it made contact with Tyler. It look uncomfortable and felt awkward, but the effort was there.

He instinctively placed his arm around her and rubbed her back. Afterwards he returns to the movie smiling at the scene.

"This is where I got my inspiration to cook ramen in a different way."

The scene is called Ponyo ramen by many. The scene plays through with Ponyo getting very excited at the sight of ham.

The weight of Tyler's arm around her made Ele feel strangely comforted rather than confined or trapped. On screen, a small child yelled about ham and Ele giggled, relaxing against Tyler and cuddling a little closer.

"She likes ham, doesn't she? And that dish does actually look very good."

As the movie went on, Ele remembered that she had been tired and she began dozing, warm and comfortable cuddling Tyler. It was surprising to her just how quickly she had found Tyler to be safe, but Ele liked it. Falling asleep against Tyler, Ele went peacefully.

After the movie ends Tyler looks at her and decides to take her to a more comfortable bed. He slides on the couch a little and positions to pick her up as gently as possible. He lifts her and stands up, carrying her to his old bed and lays her down, covering her up. He grabs a couple pillows for her and props her up. Turning around he heads out.

It was the middle of the night when Ele woke with a start. Heart pounding and fear seizing her, Ele tried to figure out where she was. The room was dark, and the bed was unfamiliar. Making a small, panicked noise, Ele stumbled out of the bed and lurched for what she thought was the door.

Opening it, Ele breathed a sigh of relief when she realized it was the other room in Tyler's house. He must have moved her there sometime. Calming a bit, Ele turned back into the room and flicked the light on. She crawled back into the bed, but tossed and turned, unable to find sleep again.

Sighing, Ele got up and went out into the hall and made her way to what she figured was Tyler's room. Biting her lip, Ele pushed the door open quietly and slipped into the dark room. In here though, the dark didn't scare her, Tyler was here in the dark, he would keep her safe.

Crawling onto Tyler's bed, Ele curled up next to him and closed her eyes, feeling the calm fall over her again.

Feeling her crawl in he stirs.

"You alright sweetheart?"

He asks, rubbing her back. He yawns and wipes his face. Realizing it may be a bit warmer with her he turns his fan on medium, letting it cool him down.

Feeling bad that she had woken Tyler up, Ele bit her lip and expected him to immediately freak out and tell her to leave. Instead he acted incredibly sweet, plus Tyler rubbing her back felt surprisingly good,

"I'm afraid of the dark."

Ele admitted quietly,

"But I feel okay when I'm around you. Is it okay that I'm here?"

"You are fine hun."

He says, continuing to rub her back.

"I am gonna go back to sleep, if you get up before me and are hungry there is a bunch of food in the fridge and cupboards, just help yourself."

As he is drifting off his alarm goes off. He pops open his eyes.

"Well then, guess you came in at just the right time."

He says with a chuckle.

"Better look away, I am only in my boxers."

He climbs out of bed and walks to the master bathroom and closes the door. He does his business then comes back in, getting clothes on then heading out to get breakfast.

It was early, why did he need an alarm? Ele wondered, sitting up and following Tyler out and into the kitchen. Outside was dark and Ele realized just how early it really was,

"Why do you set your alarm so early?"

She asked, grabbing the blanket from the couch and wrapping herself in it before going to stand by the counter.

"It is 6 am. I gotta get breakfast ready, prepare lunch for the work day and I like to get to the shop by 7:30. Getting started early like this gives me a chance to watch a little tv, plan things out and wake up."

He starts scrambling some eggs.

"You want some breakfast burritos? I am gonna make some crab and ghost pepper breakfast burritos."

He grabs out some jumbo lump crab meat and ghost pepper nacho cheese.

"That's gonna burn going in and coming out,"

Ele muttered, watching Tyler cook.

"But I'm game. Do you want me to make your lunch for you? Give you some more time to wake up?"

He chuckles hearing her talk about breakfast.

Not as hot as you would think but it is still plenty hot."

He adds more eggs, putting 6 eggs total into the mix and starts whipping it.

If you want to. Not often do I get to have a home cooked lunch that wasn't made by me."

He smiles at her and keeps whipping the eggs until they lighten in color and foam up. He pours the eggs in a skillet and lets it get set a little. Grabbing an offset spatula he works it over in the pan, adding the crab little by little and folding the eggs over on itself. After a few minutes of this, he adds the nacho cheese. He grabs some leftover saffron rice and places it in a couple tortilla's.

"How many burritos you want?"

Dropping the blanket, Ele went to work in the kitchen, using the counter space Tyler wasn't at. She didn't know quite what she was making, but as she worked it started to come together and look good. Taking a little taste, Ele confirmed that it tasted good too.

"I'll have one. So are you going to drop me off at the resort, or am I captive here until you return?"

She teased, grabbing some food containers and packaging Tyler's lunch,

"I guess the other option is walking. I could walk back too."

"You would be walking for hours. Physical distance is only about 4 miles to the resort but driving it is actually about 10 miles. I will drop you off, if you feel like joining me at the shop you can always drive out there or you can drive one of my vehicles to the resort. Whatever works for you."

He stuffs the burrito full and tosses it on a panini press, going through 3 in succession. He hands her one and smiles.

"There you go."

He picks up his and goes to sit down on his couch.

Putting the readied lunch on the end of the counter, Ele took the burrito and joined Tyler on the couch,

"I'll come in later and start working on the railway. The painting should be done drying by now, so I can bring that in once its in the frame."

Taking a bite of the burrito, Ele sucked in a breath and waved her hand in front of her mouth as the ghost pepper cheese hit. Swallowing quickly, Ele tried to cool her mouth off,

"Oh jeez! That's good but hot!"

She said, getting up and going back for a glass of water. She brought one for Tyler too,

"And sorry for waking you up early."

"Hey it was only a few minutes, I usually wake up 10 minutes before my alarm."

Seeing her grab the water he shakes his head.

"Do not drink water hun, it only makes it worse. Get some milk, the heat in peppers is oil based so water only spreads it around."

He bites into his burrito and lights up but only moderately.

Nodding, Ele got glasses of milk as well and took a couple sips to soothe her mouth.

"Still, I felt bad when I realized."

Coming to sit down again, Ele took another bite of her food, more prepared for the burn this time,

"Honestly, I was surprised you didn't get upset when you realized I was there."
