The eternal issue with combat scenes. Too long, and they feel drawn out and boring. Too short, and you don't write enough. *Sigh*.

i think my post is fine...

Jenna Moreci says the key to writing combat is that fine middle ground. describe the scene with descriptive sentences but once you get into the thick of it, once you've described your character's combat style, go ahead and make the rest of it as fluid and quick and realistic as possible, which is what i try to do.

Also, a bit of an addition from our antagonist as I feel I should let you know for future reference, they have these radioactive crystals on their face. If they burst, you'll get hit with some radioactivity. It's not as bad with just one, you'll lose like 2 hours of being able to go outside for every 2 seconds you're in the cloud. But, when you're surrounded by them? It can be a bitch.

I'll give you all the benefit of a thought and assume that, for the rp, you all didn't hit anything and are fine. Just keep this in mind for the rest of your encounters, okay?

Considering I explicitly said she hacked at the back of one of their necks, and then stabbed one in the temple, which is the side of the face, there's no way for her to have been contaminated anyway. ^.^.

Oh, and just to be clear, the JRS means she can go outside more, right?

Hmm... I hope that I had the right estimates for how long it would take to get places. I tried to work in where they're located (the underground, that is) to give you a better idea as to where they are. Hope it's okay!

And I should be getting my internet issues fixed so I should become a more... reliable presence in this. Sorry!
