Personality:
At first glance, Acacia can seem almost quiet. She prefers to ignore others, finding that her visions of their past increase if she engages with them directly. That doesn't mean she's shy or unsociable. Quite the contrary, really. Acacia, if given the chance to, will be playful and a true trickster at heart. Her confidence is palpable as she doesn't find any real shame in her personality or her body. For that reason, she can be a real minx when it comes to others as she regularly leads people just for the sheer thrill of it.

Although those emotions are hers, she regularly covers the deeper ones of inadequacy and loneliness. She grew up without anyone stepping into the mother figure and with a father who was vicious at the best of times and downright inhumane at the worst. She's always been stuck at the lower echelons of society, regularly falling on the wrong side of the justice system and not particularly caring about it. For someone whose powers revolve around doing what's right, she's done more wrong than most could. She has killed, thieved and destroyed and this has taken a serious toll on her mental well-being. In essence, Acacia is a scarred soul carrying the burden of a role she doesn't want on her shoulders.

History:
Dike had never had a single child throughout history. Her job was a key one and throughout most civilizations, she was held far above her station as a simple, minor Goddess. For that reason, she never had time to have children. Why she chose Acacia's father, however, the young demigod will never know. He was a detective for the NYPD and although he wasn't corrupt (yet), he wasn't exactly a glittering rainbow. Despite this, her mother had a short fling with him and after a few months, it ended with her disappearance and a new baby girl at his door.

He did alright in terms of a father for her first few years. He had a girlfriend and Acacia had a moderately decent childhood up until the age of six when her father was caught taking bribes from some of the local crimelords. His life fell apart as he lost his job, his girlfriend and most of his friends. There was something he could never let go, however - his daughter. She was there for every bout of anger, every spout of hatred. As she grew, he became more prone to heavy alcoholism. Not only that but he began to develop the idea that all his problems had stemmed from her and her mother. What started with shouting quickly turned to beatings as her father slipped down into sheer madness.

Eventually, he snapped when Acacia began to question him on who her mother was and where she had gone. One evening, when she was nearly twelve, he came at her with a kitchen knife. The first slash nearly gouged her eye out and left her with a nasty scar over it. The next caught her arm and within a second, the knife was embedded in his stomach. She hadn't meant to do it but something inside her kicked in. He actually survived and she called an ambulance but after three months of terrible pain, he died due to a strange blood poisoning.

To say she cared would be a lie - she barely even regarded him as her father. What she did care about was the fact that she was placed into social services. That lasted for about a month before she eventually ditched it for a life on the streets. Petty crime carried her for a year but as she went on with her life, she began to pick up on powers she had. Acacia had the ability to peek into people's pasts, to see what they had done wrong and that was invaluable. Not to mention she was as tough as nails. She got herself involved in some real money-making ventures with drug-runs and was eventually taken in by a local mobster who had a soft spot for her. Life was good for a while - she had a family; a broken, delusional family that loved each other to no end. She always felt like an outsider but she moulded in and for a year or two, she was raised like any teenage girl. The scars began to heal and things were looking good.

Then things took a bit of a dive - although she was the only child of Dike and monsters literally didn't know her scent, they began to pick up on her location and the smarter ones used the criminal underworld to trace her. It should have been her mother who told her but it was Zeus who sent her in the direction of Olympus Academy. Apparently she was too busy for her only daughter in eternity.

Name: James Harrison
Age: 15
Parent: Iapetus, Titan of mortality
Abilities:
Life force manipulation: James is able to manipulate the life force energy within himself and all living things. With this power he can attack a foe's life force instead of physically harming them. These attacks can be both close and long ranged, but longer ranges are very difficult for him to do at his current stage of development. For example if James makes contact with a light slap or punch he can attack their life force and cause a good amount of harm. He can also use his powers to help keep a person from dying by keeping their life force within them flowing, but this ability does cost energy and he will suffer from fatigue and the ability will then end. The biggest weakness to his powers is that they require him to use his own life force to access them so if he taxes his life force energy too much then he could slip into a coma or even die. A side effect of his powers is that he can live far longer than any normal human being and ages a lot slower after hitting adulthood. Also he has a resistance to necromancy and can combat the magic when used against others.

Personality: James is a determined and sometimes brash kid who is not afraid to express himself. He considers himself an individualist and sometimes can come off a lone wolf. Since he is a Demi-titan James doesn't like the Olympians because of what they did to the titans and he is very defensive when people talk about them.

Like with most Demi-titans James comes off as being a little arrogant since his lineage predates the Olympians and their children and it can go to his head. This can make him prideful as well as very stubborn. But this doesn't stop him from being cunning like other Demi-titans. Since they let him go Olympus Academy despite his titan heritage, James his determined to show that he and all the other demi-titans can be trusted and respected as much the demigods.

Short Bio: James was born in New Orleans Louisiana and from an early age he felt different from everyone else. Strange things would happen around him and it made him afraid. Plants would wither and bloom when he was near. Other kids felt very uncomfortable around him as if his presence affected their very souls.

He had asked his mom before about why these things were happening, but there was a reluctance in her tone of voice as she told him that she didn't know what was going on. James could tell that she wasn't telling the truth and he would find out the truth no matter what.

While at school one day James was picked on by some of the bullies and it got violent after he insulted them. While reacting in self defense James' mysterious powers activated and put the bullies and six other students into a coma. Kids who saw what happened screamed in terror and pointed accusing fingers at him.

The authorities were called and they took James home where they explained the situation to his mother. He was suspended from school and the police wanted him to stay home until the investigation into what had happened was complete. To the total surprise of the authorities, there was no sign of any severe damage or toxins in the student's bodies. What ever had been done to them was not anything that medical or forensic science could explain.

He wasn't found guilty of any crime, but the school still felt that it was best that he stay out of school for a bit. James was scared and confused at the turn of events in his life. His mom knew that it was time to tell him the truth about his heritage and his father.

And so James learned that his father was Iapetus the Titan of mortality. He learned that his father like all of the titans were not respected like the Olympians and that regardless of whether he was with normal people or demigods, he wouldn't be truly respected. With this new large of knowledge James finally had an answer to his questions.

It was too long after that his father appeared at their doorstep and told them that he believed that it would be best for James to go learn at Olympus Academy and train to control his powers. It felt both strange and great to see his father for the first time, but he felt scared of what his future held.
