It happened so damned fast! Oz didn't see it coming, the only thing that saved him was his honed instincts from fighting. Jenso could see it as the dust settled, a dome that seemed to be projected into the rubble itself as it collapsed to the middle.

Oz stared at it, shocked a little but also somewhat relieved. Unfortunately he had no opportunity for choices. Geode was so close when the implosion happened that he was caught up in the dome as well. It was a tight fit, the rubble crushing into the small space that the two were in. It was all Oz could do as he strained, pushing up with both hands to keep it from falling on them and finishing the job. Blood gushed from his left bicep where a barely contained piece of edged rubble slowly sank deeper. Jagged and broken pieces of rubble were held suspended, imbedded into the dome and sticking around on the inside at dangerous and awkward angles. Oz glanced back over at the fallen god just feet away. A path was there with dangerous debris stabbing into and littering the way. "You better not try anything..." He managed between strained breaths. Oz hoped he had the strength to push it back before he lost this fight of will.

It was impossible for Jenso to physically see the results underneath.

Jenso took deep gasps of air as oxygen filled his lungs again. He sighed in relief, but his happiness from having survived was quickly overwhelmed by the immediate concern of his friend's safety. He spun around immediately, as he gazed at the rubble that covered Oz, Geode and Vale. "OZ!!!" He screamed in panic, as his wings turned back to white flames when his body was exposed to oxygen again. They covered his body, as the wounds on his back fully healed again through the phoenix's regenerative abilities. He flew over towards the rubble immediately, as his wings heated up to an extremely high degree.

He tried to sense Oz's exact location within the rubble through his Ki. He inspected the rubble closely and quickly, not wanting to cause the rubble to collapse in on his friend even more by shifting the make-shift dome of rubble too violently. He approached the side of the rubble that seemed the sturdiest and where the wall of rubble was the thinnest and closest to his friend's location. "Oz, if you can hear me, stay perfectly still!" He called out. He moved his super-heated white wings forwards in fluid motions, aiming to quickly melt two specific spots of the rubble wall as he grabbed ahold of it, essentially hugging the wall. He made sure to do these movements very precisely and quickly while trying to avoid the rubble from shifting too much. The white flames on the front of his body didn't give off much heat.

He aimed to wrap his wings around Oz, essentially creating a heat dome made out of white flames that would end up covering Oz's barrier. The flames would not hurt Oz himself, but would melt and evaporate the rubble around him and within his barrier, including the one that was injuring him. If this were succesful, Jenso would focus more heat into the white flames on the front of his body in order to melt the part of the wall that he was hugging for Oz to have a way out.

As the pressure lessened overhead, Oz slipped his arm off of the debris with a sickening squishy sound. He grit his teeth together and grunted through the pain. Oz continued to hold up the barrier but it started to flicker, he was feeling light-headed and starting to lose concentration. As Jenso finally burnt a hole through the roof of rubble Oz answered. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare ya there. Hold up." He shifted over to what was left of Geode, grabbed an arm and threw him up out of the hole Jenso had made. Finally he himself started climbing out. No sooner had he gotten his legs out the rest of the shield gave way and it crumbled inward. Oz sprawled out on the ground and let out a sigh of relief. "Hey uh.. hotshot. You wanna burn this? I don't feel like passing out before we're done here." He gripped his arm tightly to reduce blood loss.

Jenso sighed in relief as Oz climbed out. "You saved my life man...I'm sorry.." Jenso muttered, looking at the injury on Oz's arm as he took aim at Geode's body immediately. He launched a torrent of flames at it in order to incinerate and melt it completely. "Looks like he prepared really well...but at least it worked out." He muttered with a small smirk, kneeling down towards Oz's arm. "I can try to sear the wound shut if you'd like, but...It'll be really painful and naturally leave a scar. It might prevent you from passing out and possibly dying from blood loss, but the pain that searing it shut would inflict might still end up making you pass out. Your choice.." He muttered in a sad tone.

Oz put up a shield around Geode, forcing the fire to splay around his form. The brilliant fire burnt as the edges of the shield before the torrent finished, leaving the floor around him charred. "I can't let you do that yet, Jenso. We're not done with him and it wouldn't finish him regardless." Oz explained. He gestured toward his wound. "Cauterize it. I've had worse, don't worry."

Jenso frowned at Oz. He wasn't sure how this false body would lead to Geode, but perhaps Oz had his own ways. They could interrogate him, but clearly Geode wouldn't state where his main body was. If he was still able to communicate through this body, anyways. "Alright.." He replied, placing his hand on Oz's wound as he began to cauterize it.

Oz clenched his teeth and powered through it with a furious growl. He took a moment to cool down before he approached the fallen Geode and addressed him. "I've got an offer for you Geode. Are you listening?"

Geode hummed away and pushed what remained of his body up with both hands. Even without legs and a lower torso, he was about as tall, if not taller, than Oz and Jenso.

"Are you listening?" He barked. Suddenly, he rose his darkened sphere between the two of them and summoned another black hole, in an attempt to kill them both as quickly as possible.

Jenso glared at Geode as he readied his sphere. He created a flame whip with his left hand, but soared further away from the black hole at top speeds in the opposite direction as he used his right arm to grab ahold of Oz. White flames erupted from his feet, along with his wings, to make him and his companion move at incredible speeds. He looked like a fast-moving blur as he moved away, faster than he'd been in the fight earlier as he couldn't make flames erupt from his feet due to the lack of oxygen before.

The second the flame whip was created, it sunk into the crevices in the ground and out of range of the black hole. It moved under Geode immediately and launched upwards, aiming to wrap it's end around Geode's arm while the beginning remained stuck within the crevice. It would start pulling Geode's arm downwards at top speeds with extreme force, hopefully causing his palm to face the ground instead. Jenso flapped his wings powerfully afterwards, launching a powerfully- focused Ki spear at Geode's head.

Geode's sphere pulled at Jenso and Oz as they took off, warping the very fabric of the light around them, and making it look as if their bodies were being stretched. This was of course, just an extension of the light that reflected off their bodies. The flame whip that Jenso placed down flew up and tugged on his arm, but he didn't let it budge one bit, channelling as much energy as he could to prevent Jenso's escape. It was no use though. Jenso's flame whip was pulled into the black hole moments afterwards, and torn to shreds. But Geode couldn't maintain the technique for much longer. As soon as Jenso's Ki spear came down, missing Geode entirely due to the massive influx of gravity, and instead getting sucked in by the black hole, it ceased, and Geode lurched forwards.

After Geode released his black hole Oz shrugged free from Jenso's grip. He stumbled as he touched the ground yet he was able catch himself and stood straight. Something in him wanted to keep talking to Geode, to try and reason more. All the niceties in the world wouldn't touch the monster so he fought back the idea. He'd already almost cost them both their lives with that stupid mistake. No. No it was no mistake. It was the way things should be. Cold logic and merciless intent were abundant in the world. Oz had to be more than that. Geode would stop at nothing to kill them so it was time to absolve the fallen god of everything he had to try and kill them with. He extended his right hand and his signature rod of thrumming energy lifted out of a rune-laced circle on the ground. "You're right. I wasn't listening. It's time we both started."

"You've no knowledge to offer that I don't already possess," Geode assured Oz, conjuring up a thin mist around his body once again, "The more time you allow me to re-constitute myself, the less likely it is that your deaths will be painless." Something began to pulsate in Geode's body, rumbling across his chest and unsettling small shards of obsidian stone from the cracks created by Oz's earlier attack.

Jenso glared at Geode as he began to charge Ki within his hands. He kept a close eye on Geode's pulsating chest. He was definitely up to something. 'This isn't even his main body...We're wasting time..' Jenso thought. "I'm sorry Oz, but we don't have another choice." He stated, launching a beam of focused Ki at Geode's chest.

Jenso's beam coursed through Geode's chest and shattered his form, causing the golem to crumble into a pile of wretched stone. His eyes flickered until they were no more. Then, the golden orb in his right hand, and black orb in his left hand, hovered into the air. A third orb emerged from his head, this one a brilliant blue hue, and in a flash of light, the three cores engulfed themselves in a barely visible aura of energy. It looked ethereal, shapeless, but took the form of a humanoid creature that stood 12 feet tall, and shared many of Geode's features, albeit subtle. His eyes appeared again, within what looked like the silhouette of a head, and continued rotating.

"You humans are indistinguishable from time-manipulating demons. Extremely bothersome," His voice howled from the ethereal body he managed to muster. "I never imagined there to be anything even remotely comparable to Jenso in terms of raw energy, but here you are. It seems I'll have to change the plan, ever so slightly."

Jenso glared at Geode, nodding at Oz beside him. He payed close attention to the three cores. "Time to kick his ass." Jenso stated, flying towards Geode while flames continued to propel him forwards. He suddenly strafed sharply to the left and flew in a semi-circle around Geode's right side, launching a flurry of super-heated feathers at the rotating head as he moved behind Geode's back while keeping his distance. He doubted that his attack would have much effect, but he wanted to see how Geode would respond. He hadn't seen Geode's newly forming body in action yet, so he chose to be cautious.

Jenso's attacks, one after another, phased through Geode's new form harmlessly. He didn't counter, or even respond to Jenso's rash reaction.

"...Are you serious?" Geode chuckled, "Unbelievable."

He was invincible.

Geode rose his see-through hand to his apparent head and laughed again, his voice echoing through the air. "Please, please tell me you're joking," Geode laughed. His body's frame began to dark with void-like energy, as well as Ki. Moments after, he was coated in a layer of blue energy, the arcane, which copied his original body, giving him a physical form, albeit blue and still somewhat transparent. Was it even physical? "How am I supposed to subdue you now, without killing you?"

Jenso glared at Geode, as he clapped his wings powerfully. The wings appeared to shed flames as they did. The flames began to land all across the edges of the platform, essentially forming a large ring of white flames. They did not seem to do anything other than give off intense heat. Jenso inspected Geode's new form carefully. Due to his approach earlier, he was now on the opposite side of Geode from where Oz stood. He launched a torrent of white flames at Geode with his left hand, while charging up Ki with his right. "I knew you were incredibly powerful, but I will admit, I didn't think you'd prepare so well."

"Jenso, spirits are still made of physical matter or Geode would be unable to hold any place here. They are simply finer and unaffected by most normal laws of the world. What we need is a hyper-dense attack or something that functions by different laws - like arcane." Oz shrugged. "Of course you could also just hit the focusing gems he's using to keep form."

Oz whisked his hands out in both directions, rose them into the air as if he were drawing handfuls of air and pushed down. "Suppression." He muttered, conjuring a wave of force to slam into Geode from above and pin him. If this didn't work he would know a little more about their enemy.

Geode glared back at Oz, dancing on the flow of the atmosphere. His feet barely touched the ground, but he stood firmly as Oz's attack struck. The orbs within his form vibrated, but they were widely unaffected. It seemed as if they were vulnerable, but inside of the aura, most attacks would be useless. If they could just get one good strike in, though..

"Right, as much as I'd love to-" Geode started, suddenly raising a hand towards Jenso and Oz. He fired off a purple beam of energy at both of them, simultaneously.
