Parent: Demeter- Goddess of agriculture, fertility, sacred law and the harvest
Abilities: Ability to control the growth of plants, as well as change how old she looks. If she’s angry, she can cause misfortune to anyone she directs her anger towards... or for fun.
Personality: Peony is a really sweet girl. It’s hard to make her angry. She’s happy-go-lucky, gentle, kind and caring, much like a mother. Peony is always looking after others, wanting to help those in need. She’s constantly mothering people, and changes her looks on a regular basis, liking her childish form more than anything, so it's funny seeing a little girl comforting the others.
Peony is always playing games, and loves to have fun. When she does get angry, or offended, she will ‘curse’ that person, causing misfortune to befall them for one day. Most of the misfortune can easily just be seen as plain bad luck. Other times though, she might cause misfortune to those who are stuck up, or full of themselves, finding it funny.
Short Bio: Peony grew up in a loving home. She knew who her mother was from a young age, and always loved praying to her mother for guidance, and help when she needed it. Her father married when she was 5, and her step-mother is the kindest person she knows. She has three younger siblings- two brothers and a sister. She’s close to all of them.
Peony joined Olympus Academy at the age of 10. Her mother and father thought it might be best if she learnt how to control her powers, and learn how to protect herself. Everything she does, she says she does for her mother. Peony is the type to watch, and try to mediate between people who fight. She doesn’t like fighting, and would rather choose a more peaceful solution, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t know how to fight. She is, in fact, very skilled.
Extra:
Daemon Ivanov
"Come on, Daemon! Let's just watch!" Daemon is Peony's best friend. Even if they're two years apart, they're so similar in personality, they clicked instantly. Peony is constantly pulling Daemon after her to watch every fight. Sometimes they need to mediate.
Name
...
Dmitri Petrov
"Please, Dmitri? Please?" Peony is always trying to get Dmitri to open up to her, and doesn't seem to know why it never works. She's tried her childish self, her 15 year old self, and her grandmotherly self, but nothing seems to work. She's got her work cut out for her with this one, but she's not giving up!
Personality: Daemon is a warm and friendly guy. He is never angry, and is always accommodating. He is a very good listener, and is quite the empath. He always has good advice, and is always willing to share. He is sweet in a way, and rather gentle. He’s a mediator, and is very good friends with Peony.
Daemon is full of life, and always happy. He has a positive effect on others, and can make anyone smile.
Short Bio: Daemon was an orphan, who was found by Hestia. Hestia has always wanted children, but she had vowed to Zeus that she would forever remain pure, and so she adopted Daemon, sharing her powers with him, much like Artemis’ huntresses. And so, Daemon grew up in Olympus with Hestia and the other Gods and Goddesses.
When Daemon turned 12, Hestia sent him to Olympus Academy, to learn amongst the demi-gods, and so he could make friends that were like him.
Extra:
Dmitri Petrov
"I'll watch out for you if you don't hurt Peony." Daemon doesn't really mind being around Dmitri, though he does warn him about Peony. Otherwise, Daemon will just mind his own business unless Dmitri initiates contact.
Peony Waters
"Calm down, Peony. Slow down." Daemon is rather protective of Peony, seeing himself as her older brother. He will do anything for her, and loves her company, as they've got such similar personalities. Daemon is always pulled around by her, but he doesn't mind one bit.
Parent: Artemis- Goddess of Hunting, wild animals and childbirth
Abilities: Over all fresh water
Personality: Araluen is rather carefree. She goes with the flow, yet is incredibly stubborn at the same time. She is full of life, sweet, gentle, and rather friendly. She’s dangerous though, and may seem wild at times, especially when it rains. She can never stay inside. She just has to be under the rain.
Short Bio: Araluen is an Oceanid, a type of Nymph that has power over fresh water. She grew up in fresh water rivers with her sisters, keeping the rivers clean. She wanted something different though. She wanted to do something in her life, so when she met Artemis, she decided to become a huntress.
Araluen was 16 at the time, a rather young Nymph. She learnt from Artemis how to use a bow, and over time, became one of Artemis’ lieutenants. She sent Araluen to Olympus Academy recently to see how the school is being divided because of the upcoming war.
Abilities: Power over salt water, able to heal himself (only in salt water)
Personality: Dmitri is a rather cold person. He grew up in a cruel environment, so he’s rather big and bulky, as well as tough. It takes a lot to hurt Dmitri. Even most injuries don’t faze the 19 year old boy. If he ended up with a broken bone, he would simply patch it up. If his joints popped out of their sockets, he would pop it back in, and continue as if it didn’t mean anything to him.
It’s really hard to make friends with Dmitri. He has this death glare he shows to anyone that tries to come anywhere near him, and would always stay away from others. He is considered a loner, but he is also rather competitive, because of how he lived. It was either kill or be killed, so Dmitri used that kind of thinking in all of his training.
Short Bio: Dmitri grew up with his father, the head of the Russian Mafia. He always knew he was different because his mother was a goddess, but he didn’t know who she was. All his father would brag about was the fact that he caught something that was supposed to be a myth. Dmitri’s father was always a cold person, and made sure that Dmitri followed in his footsteps.
After finding out about seawater, and what it could do for Dmitri, by making him stronger, his father would douse him in salt water, before sending the poor boy to fight grown men at the age of 10. If Dmitri didn’t beat the men, he would be beaten by his father. Over the course of his short 19 year life, he has accumulated so many scars from his father.
Dmitri was taken by his mother to Olympus Academy when he turned 18. She had hoped it would help Dmitri to open up a bit.
Extra:
Daemon Ivanov
"Hey! Could you please get that little kid away from me?" Dmitri is always asking Daemon to take Peony off his hands. Otherwise, he completely ignores the kid. Dmitri is nicer to Daemon and Peony than everyone else though.
Peony Waters
"Please be quiet!!!" Dmitri is constantly annoyed by Peony hanging off him, trying to get him to open up. No matter how many times he tells her he doesn't want to talk to her, she doesn't back off, so the most he does is give her the cold shoulder. He is still nicer to Peony and Daemon than everyone else though.
@The One I think he had a few many powers compared to everyone else, but they all make sense for a Hermes kid and individually they're not super powerful. So that's alright! I like them.
Amintah, daughter of Gaia or Mother Earth, is the sole soul of the century old willow tree standing in front of Olympus Academy. With the tree she shall rise, with the tree she shall fall.
Rise and Fall. A blessing and a curse, a dryad's soul is strictly bound to their mother tree. A dryad is the source of a tree's vitality and spirit. Thus, Amintah is able to make her tree flourish and bloom whenever she wishes so. Should the dryad residing within a tree die, that would mean the end of their mother tree's fate.
Know Thy Earth. As a daughter of Mother Earth, Amintah's roots are - quite literally - deep beneath the soil below. She senses the slightest changes in the grounds and air surrounding Olympus Academy. She has a vast knowledge of different types of soil and vegetation.
Whisper o' Trees. As tree's leaves whisper with the wind, Amintah can hear the words in the whispers. When touching another tree's trunk, she is able to converse with them, an ability much overlooked and laughed at.
A t t r i b u t e s
Human. In her materialized form, Amintah bears the appearance of a young maiden, maybe 15 years old. She has a skin white as marble, delicate and vulnerable, easily scorched by direct sunlight. Her hair is fair and light, so long it almost touches the ground, easily swept around by wind.
Her facial features are soft. Hidden behind her almost always closed eyelids are those eyes she is so ashamed of. She suffers from a form of heterochromia. Her left eye is bright blue, right eye close to a chestnut tint. Thus, she is often seen wandering about the school yard with closed eyes. As her bond with Mother Earth is intimate, she can feel her way about the grounds.
In her human form, Amintah stands about 155 centimeters tall.
Willow Tree. A tree, the natural body of a dryad. As a willow tree, Amintah stands tens of metres tall. Her body is curvy and heavy-built, supporting her ever so flourishing branches sweeping the air around her. When looked at from distance, her presence is strong and soothing. Many times students are seen napping in the shelter of her branches. Little do they know, she is watching over them from afar.

Birth. A dim morning in early summer, many, many years ago, Mother Earth felt rejuvenated. As she wandered through the hills surrounding Olympus Academy, she found a seed, lonely and abandoned. As she gazed upon the then new and modern Academy, she felt an ominous sting in the hand holding the seed. A war was waged. These lands were safe to roam no longer.
"May this young seedling bring years of peace upon the children of Olympos! Care for this seedling and see her bloom and flourish before your mortal eyes. She shall bear the name of Amintah, 'defender'. May her soul rest in peace within the tree until it is time for her to awaken."
With those words, Mother Earth buried the seed in the ground. She saw her daughter grow to be a strong, tall willow tree, tempting yet delicate. The tree stood there, witnessing the Academy being born and inhabited. Sometime before our story begins, maybe a hundred years ago, the soul resting within the tree opened her eyes for the first time after her birth. She left the tree to explore the new world dawning on her.
Until this day. A rumor spread amongst the students in the Academy. An angelic feminine figure had been seen wandering about the courtyard without a cloth to veil her form. Those who had seen her were few, mesmerized by her ethereal form. Amintah had never been gazed upon. Outside her mother tree, she felt vulnerable and scared. She was uncertain. Why had she been born to see this day? Why was she chosen to guard the Academy?
As years passed by, Amintah grew more accustomed to the demigods around her. She would occasionally exchange a few words with the students, making her presence and form known around the grounds. She was always seen naked, her hair chastely covering the vital parts. So it happened she met the headmaster, the ultimate leader of the school. The headmaster kindly asked if she would do them the favor of joining the count of students. She would attend the classes as she wished, looking over them, making herself familiar with her kind. As the headmaster knew about the curse of a dryad, he let Amintah go to rest even in the middle of a lesson.
As our story begins, Amintah has grown to be a delicate, observant and calm young willow spirit. Given her age, she has graduated and started over many times. As she looks at the crowd of students nearing her tree, she cannot help but wonder how it would feel to be a mortal deity.

Amintah, Daughter of Gaia, is a calm and slow-paced young soul. She does not startle at a fight or wince at wounds. Having lived longer than most of her fellow students, she has a profound understanding of human nature mixed with the heritage of Olympic gods. Neither a god nor human, interacting with the aforementioned is like a science for her. She is very pragmatic about socializing - she knows what makes people angry, flustered or glad, and uses that knowledge to her advantage. Even if she understands people well, she has very few friends. Amintah does not mind being alone, feeling the whisper of wind on her skin.
An ancient soul, Amintah is not easily shaken. Usually, her face and voice are void of emotions. As her heart is deeply connected with the stable form of the willow tree, she doesn't really feel strong emotions like humans or gods do. Rather, she senses the changes in her environment and reacts according to that.
