<Snipped quote by LokiLeo789>

You mean a Holy Site made by multiple people? Yes, that is possible. It was discussed near the start, around the creation of the Celestial Citadel. It counts as two Holy Sites for rules purposes, but means you can pool more Might into it because you have multiple contributors.

P.S. The conversation starts here. The verdict on how joint Holy Sites tie into the rules are here and here. It was decided that the Celestial Citadel would not be a joint Holy Site, because in this instance it would be a major disadvantage four turns later not being able to make another Holy Site.

Essentially, each contributor receives half the total Might invested in the Joint Holy Site, but it counts as two Holy Sites for the purposes of counting your allowed number of Holy Sites, you must wait twice (?) as long before you build your next Holy Site, and you may only be part of one Joint Holy Site. There are no limits to the number of contributors.

Well that's definitely not worth the bang for your buck. That's a Nigerian Email Scheme in the flesh. Thankfully there are loopholes in which on can use to sort of bypass this mechanisms, similar to what was done with the Celestial Citadel. Thank you, oh Grand Perfectus Historious of Divinus.

@LokiLeo789 It could potentially be all the bang you'll ever need for your buck.

Say you have 50 Might saved up, and so does another player. You make a 100 Might Joint Holy Site. You Get 50 back the next turn - that's so much that a level 6 god would be putting some 8 Might into Fate's Might pot per turn if they had ZERO the last turn, not counting any other holy sites they may be getting Might dividends from.

Edit: now say four gods had 50 Might...

@Kho I appreciate the suggestion, but it's not quite what I'm looking for. Study music is designed to help you as the listener focus, so it puts you at-ease.

However, I'm looking for stuff that puts you very slightly ill-at-ease. Something that makes you feel a little more tension than before without a direct panic. A revelation is a good way to describe it.

Also, I'm trying to find orchestral or acoustic stuff to keep the sounds earthly enough to fit in. Or at the very least thematic. I've tried to keep Toun's soundtracks to be full of deep winding cello music (Guarded Hearts with Jvan notwithstanding), while Conata has that Wuxia stuff with big drums, flutes, and not to mention that big chinese string instrument that I can't remember the name of that opens her theme song. I haven't decided for Edda and the twins.

tl;dr: I'm picky with these soundtracks. Way too picky.

I've stopped trying to fit soundtracks to my posts. I fit posts to my soundtracks.

Then again, I did put Sting in my last(?) post...which is hardly a 'soundtrack'. And which I couldn't actually listen to while reading - I considered just putting a little note along the lines of: Stop reading now and listen to this. Listen to it damn it. LISTEN.

But I didn't.

Bloody hell I'm tired.

Yeah, I fit posts to songs sometimes. It's just a bit difficult when you get to the point in an arc where you really can't compromise the scene with an existing song :(

Do you plan these story arcs? Because whenever I do that everything changes all of a sudden

Well I'm not sure anyone has that much might to loosely spend on my proposition. We shall deliberate.

Well, Belru has exactly 50 Might. But I can't remember how many turns have passed since she created her last holy site

When I learned how to program computers, I was told to "Code as if you are going to throw it all away, because you probably will anyway." (It's a famous quote, the origin of it escapes me). I take the same approach to designing arcs. My outlines are very minimal, rough, and I always expect many changes and high entropy (especially with the involvement of other characters being as unpredictable as it is in an RP). Normally I just put together a list of dot points with sublists of more detailed dot points when I get close to them in the canon IC.

The 'many changes' thing is no joke. It makes conventional outlining wholly inappropriate. Toun's arc has twisted so many times that I get nauseous trying to go back and reconcile his character development. On the other hand, I have saved a lot of wasted effort by keeping the forward planning very terse.

EDIT: Wait, Belru has a holy site?

"Hey Belru, I'm new, but I need something from you, let's make a deal. I need 50 might from you."

"What's in it for me?"

"The pleasure of dick-waving your super-Might construct earning you potentially a whopping 25 Might per Turn."

Feels kind broken. Two kinda inactive players could come in and have 50 might pt easily.

If there is ever a 3rd divinus, maybe it would be interesting to add a minimum of might spent both total and on different actions (so it does not all condense into a weapon) before one could level up or make a HS.

Only issue is... I haven't used her Might for anything other than that. I think...

So it's all going to go into Fate's Might unless I do something about it

@Double Capybara We've already capped the highest possible Might (depending on level), so there's already a natural cap there.

The whole joint holy site aspect is so far theoretical - it hasn't been done ICly at all. If we don't like it, we can potentially rework it immediately.

You spend it all on waifus, I spend it all on weapons!

And I don't spend it at all.

Unless it's on New Chronos, then I spend 17 Might on making a rock or something. That no one ever uses.
