Let's start with some demographics.

I am a 24-year old American female. I'm cool with Mature/Adult/18+ stuff, I prefer a partner that is as well for the sake of development, but its not a requirement, at least not for all of my characters. I roleplayed on a highly monitored, for-all-ages site in the past and know how to keep in clean, tasteful, and interesting but I prefer not to have such restrictions in my writings.

The list of things I am not interested in roleplaying is much shorter that what I am, so we will begin with that.

Typically, fandoms are a no-go; it would have to be something special, with an extra special twist for me to even consider. However, IF you have characters based from a certain series, I am open to that, but do not expect me to hold to the plot/setting/whatever. Baring that, I'm pretty open. Slice-of-life and modern roleplays have a tendency to bore me, though they are not entirely without their merits.

I'd love to hear any original ideas. I have characters that can fit in most time periods and settings, but here are my starting points:

- The Kingdom of Ogla vs. The Kingdom of Sabal
An ancient-roman themed land ruled by the widowed queen and tyrant plots against its rival kingdom, an ancient-Egyptian themed land full of secrets.
Subplot: The Oracle has awakened!
The Oracle of Sabal has awakened for the first time in 300 hundred years, babbling in a language no one understands - she sure seems terrified, though.
Subplot: Arranged Marriage
Queen Nakra has three beautiful daughters: Eza, Commander in Chief of Ogla's army; Tuelith, the rebel and also Ogla's ambassador; and Aizina, the debutante of the kingdom. Nakra has arranged a marriage between one (or two or all) of them and a foreign kingdom's princes.Subplot: Slave Girl (18+ only)
Unlike Ogla, Sabal still employs the use of slaves in its kingdom. One slave girl, a court dancer, is at the mercy of her masters. (Your character could be the master or a fellow slave.)

- Gypsies, tramps, and thieves 18+ ONLY
A band of gypsies can travel anywhere and do anything, right? From fortune tellers, necromancers, magicians, dancers, hippies, and harlots, this sordid group is just trying to have a good time.

- I let the water take me
Captain Jazalyn has set out on the Vendetta, mind set on recruiting, pillaging, and, just possibly, invasion. It's time to take back what is hers, and what is everyone else's as well.
Subplot: Jazalyn's Escape (Flashback)
The village is dead and Jazalyn is taken prisoner. How will the teenage island girl escape the pirates?
Subplot: Pirate Wars
No real pirate vessel is without her enemies.

- The Decay
The time is set three hundred years into the future during the time of the Decay. Technology has been lost, and a rusted wasteland has descended over the land. The only hope rests on building the rocket, so the people left can travel to the moon colony - the only haven from the Decay.

Gaz is a time traveler, hacker, and general technological prodigy working for a mysterious organization known only as the "Company." They send her through space, on missions to manipulate time in accordance with their shifty agenda. Most recently the Company discovered Gaz was changing things to her agenda as well, and she has been sent to the time of the Decay, the wastelands, as punishment.

She's been here once before, but only this time the rocket scientists are gone, and she is lost, and alone.

@Aristocles oh wow I like your maps! I was going to try to make a whole world map but I didn't like how it was comming out so I figured I'd start with a map of all the kingdoms and put it all together once I finish.

There are a ton of plots that can go inside of Ogla vs. Sabal

are there any particular ideas you've been working on?

I havent tried the Oglian Cup yet - its based off a short story I wrote in college. could be fun for sure.

Well, one idea for those two countries would be a character from each country meet under initially less-than-friendly circumstances, but they become friendlier as time goes on. Like, a soldier of one country being forced to fight in the arena of the other, but he gets freed later on. I know that's a bit vague, but we can work on it.
