She said with an apologetic look, her hands massaging his head,

"I'll be okay, I'll have Kate with me and I'll drop off my letter before opening so it will be employees only in the building. Mom and Jo ... Her boyfr.... That guy, won't even know I was there."

It was a struggle for Ele to mention her abuser, and even as she sounded sure that her plan would work, her eyes went down to her lap where her free hand was in a white-knuckled fist.

Lays her down on the couch and covers her up before going to the fridge and grabbing a not your fathers root beer and making a root beer float with a shot of Jack Daniels honey. He returns to the living room sitting down next to her in his chair, turning the ps4 back on to play some Uncharted 4.

"Oh, okay..."

Ele said, feeling drowsy again. Quietly she stood up and went to the door of the bedroom, their bedroom she thought with a sleepy smile. Stopping at the door, Ele looked back to Tyler,

"Come to bed soon, babe?"

It wasn't a command, but a question and Ele didn't wait for the answer before she went in and crawled into bed.
