Jenso's attacks pierced the surrounding golems one after another, destroying them before they could react. With all of their lasers on cool down after blocking Jenso's earlier attack, they were sitting ducks. In a very short amount of time, they were all reduced to ash. Geode grit his non-existent teeth, contorting the ethereal mass around where his jaw would've been and aiming up at the sphere that overlooked the battlefield.

"This isn't what you were meant for! Your existence is no coincidence!" Geode roared, conjuring a giant barrier around the sphere and Helix and quickly moved to envelope the entirety of the upper citadel, spreading to wrap every inch of the white, crisscrossing stone arches. "It must be fate! You are here to become my new body, as a final repentance for Gaia's wrongdoings! For the wrongdoings of my golems!" The shattered remains of Gol-Ira, through to Gol-Ino were barely visible, scattered among the rubble all around Geode. Each impact punch, individually, could not harm Geode's barrier. His essence flickered, maintaining itself through severe difficulty. He was struggling to project his barrier, but it moved to surround him as well, moments afterwards. A long tube of dark energies surrounding Geode, and the platform he stood on, giving up a small foothold as he coated the entire citadel in dark energies. The sheer size of the barrier was astounding, how could he manage to defend his entire stronghold with one barrier?

"I'll wait," Geode grunted, "I'll wait until your form withers, and your body falls limp!" Oz approached from below, but now the barrier was tightly fastened. Fastened, but not ethereal. Geode had given them something to hit. But Jenso's energy quickly began to dither. His wings faded and reformed, struggling to maintain themselves. One moment he was full power, the next, he was falling from the sky. Was Pij at her limit? Geode laughed aloud as Jenso's form began to fall apart. "Not much longer now!" He said victoriously, "I did not account for this. I did account for your power, but this is fine! I had every other angle covered, I can adapt to everything you have to throw at me! I understand your stolen powers completely, Jenso!"

Oz barreled upward and snagged Jenso's falling form out of the air as he went. He positioned him against his back. "Hold tight budd, you've done a great job. We have him scared." The two zipped through open parts of the citadel until Oz found a spot where they could ascend. Smashing through loose sets of gear and cogs they finally ascended up above the citadel before his arcane momentum died. They paused briefly there in the sky as gravity started to set in again. "I saw what you were trying to do before. We have some reprieve for the moment. One last time. Do it again!" Oz shouted over the wind. They began to descend again toward the citadel, Oz's hardened shield in place. He wanted to go right through Geode's barrier.

Jenso smirked at Oz as his vision began to blur. But he managed to remain conscious. The flames around his wings and the rest of his body began to focus around his palms specifically in a powerful aura. As they launched downwards at the Citadel, Jenso placed his hands against the shield. White flames erupted from his palms, and began coating Oz's shield with extremely powerful white flames. "Let's KICK HIS ASS, ONCE AND FOR ALL!" He roared furiously. As Oz's shield speeded downwards, the white flames began to take the shape of a white comet similar to Jenso's Comet Crash ability. It merged together with Oz's shield, increasing it's power tremendously. Oz's incredible speed and power, combined with Jenso's extreme power. This was it, their final attack. It was now or never.

"GRAVITY METEOR!!!"

The comet barreled downward, threatening to pierce straight through the citadel. "Adapt to this!"

Geode felt the mass of their attack strike his body. His entire body. The entire citadel shook, and cracked, getting pushed down by the meteor despite its sheer size. Geode's form buckled, but his barrier held strong against their attack.

"Not yet!" Geode shouted, "You can't maintain that attack forever!" His barrier flashed brightly and pushed back against Jenso and Oswald. But the momentum from their attack began to bend the fabric of his shield. Soon, cracks began to form at every angle of the citadel. Gears fell and crashed into one another. Orbs and domes crumbled. The giant net of stone between the heroes and Geode shattered, and the triple helix fell to pieces. Geode clenched his fists, but his barrier finally shattered into a million pieces, and the two heroes crashed into him, launching his body into the platform below. The impact caused it to fall faster, but Geode's form was mostly unharmed. He floated above the two of them as they landed, his energy flickering. "Impudent little wretches. You cannot.." Geode paused and his body began to sink towards them. The entire citadel was beginning to crash down. That was his true body. Without a host, he could not maintain such impressive strength. His power was fading fast.

But the citadel was going to crash into them as well.

The two crashed into the platform, pounding what was already a messy surface. Oz looked up from the semi-knelt position. The citadel began to lurch forward, going completely off balance. Debris, cogs, and broken stone tumbled off into the ocean below. There was little time left. "Give it up Geode. This is over but it doesn't have to be the end of you."

Jenso collapsed roughly into the ground. 'Shit...He's still alive..?' Jenso thought, struggling to move. He felt completely drained as the flames around him dispersed. 'So this is how we die...Lark..dad...I'm sorry..' Jenso thought, remembering those he cared about most as he gazed up at the citadel that fell down at him. He remembered the last time that he spoke to his father.

'Wait...that's right..! I still have..' He thought, reaching into his pocket quickly. He pulled out the pill that Luke had given him, and swallowed it. He was unsure what it would do, but Luke had told him to use it when he was in a bind. And this certainly seemed like one.

Geode landed nearby, and his form shrank down to a human-like size. He looked at Oz and grunted angrily. "It's not over," he barked, "Once Jenso's life leaves him, I'll simply.. Simply..." Geode looked over to Jenso and his eyes widened. The once-spinning galaxies had stopped, and changed to hollow black spheres. Jenso's body quickly began to heal, and Geode felt his soul return to normal in mere seconds.

"No.."

"You're out of options and we're out of time. I'm not about to let you slink back into nothing like you did before. Give it up and let this fight end." Oz stubbornly offered. "You'll have your time to shine again but your position as a destroyer is over."

Jenso felt power flow through his body again as he stood back up. He turned to look at Oz, and then towards Geode. "Wow...I feel completely refreshed! Dad really is amazing.." He muttered. He glared at Geode and began to channel Ki within the palm of his right hand. 'Kill when nessecary..' Jenso thought, as he was about to launch a beam of Ki in order to obliterate Geode. The energy suddenly faded however. Oz had a point, perhaps Geode could see the error of his ways. Jenso didn't enjoy killing himself, after all. 'Maybe this whole journey made me less human in some aspects..' He thought, frowning.

He launched a white flame whip at Geode instead. The flames did not burn or hurt him, but wrapped tightly around his body to stop him from moving in case he would try anything. "Alright...we should get out of here first, before the citadel crushes us. I'm going to call my friend Mikey." Jenso stated. "Oz, do you mind flying us out of here? I could use my One with Nature form again, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to sustain it long enough until Mikey comes for us." Jenso explained. He grabbed Geode gently.

"You were an incredible opponent, Geode. I share Oz's feelings; I truly do not want to kill you. So please, don't try anything."

Jenso's flame whip phased through Geode's body again, as did his arm. Geode's composition never changed. He backed away from Jenso and grunted. "An amoeba to the end," Geode scoffed, "Spare me your mercy and moronic words, mortal fools. I've lost my power. Without a body, I am but a spirit, bound by these cores in my chest. Without power I cannot be a threat. Likewise, you cannot harm me. But I will take solace in your deaths when my body explodes and eradicates you both from existence." Geode looked up at the falling citadel and sighed. "There is no light in my future, either way. This entire disaster is a stain on my pride. Your actions have halted my golems. I suppose if you really are defending your people, you've won at least that much."

"You are stubborn beyond reason, Geode. You see no light because you choose not to. Until you do there will never be any hope for you." Oz stated. He bent his knees in a stance and brought his clenched fists to his sides. Power began to emanate from his figure. Oz was glowing. "You have limited yourself to only what your vain and cold imaginings could be when the world is so much more vast and plentiful than even you could know. A shorter life endears us to the power and passion of each passing moment. You wouldn't understand our light unless you chose to."

Great pressure seemed to heave itself on Oz's shoulders as his energy spread wide into the air above them. "I, who have chosen to bear the weight of the world, will now humble a god's prideful corpse." The energy began to take the form of a colossal humanoid shape above him that seemed to stand atop the waves below. The platform they stood on suddenly halted, floating at the mid-section of the giant.



The colossus slowly bent its back into the descending fortress, cradling the platform from falling dangers with its arms and heaving the massive castle upward. The giant lacked speed but it was clear what its strengths were. The strain on Oz was clear from just looking at him, every muscle was tense, his breathing was becoming more rapid. It were almost as if he were the very giant to move their danger aside.

Jenso looked at Oz and the giant and blinked. "HOLY SHIT!!!" He shrieked, as the giant lifted the Citadel up. After staring at it in shock for a few moments, Jenso's mind snapped back into reality. He reached into his pocket and pulled out his cellphone. He hit the dial button to call Mikey. "Hey Mikey, can you come pick us up? This whole shit's gonna explode man!!" He shouted loudly into Mikey's ear. Jenso's shout was quite high pitched, and could possibly deafen Mikey if his ear was too close to the phone. "And don't worry about the big guy, he's on our side!" He sung happily.

"YEAH BUT WHO THE HELL IS THAT?" Mikey shouted, "I was headed back already after that massive energy surge, but now I'm seeing.. What am I seeing?.. Ah, never mind! I'll be there soon!" He announced. It wouldn't be long now.

Geode's eyes narrowed and his head tilted forwards. Oz's words stung deep, now that he stood humbly before them as no more than a harmless ghost. He didn't speak, but as his giant form appeared, his eyes widened again. He looked up and around. "He's..." He muttered quietly. He didn't think of it. The amount of energy they'd both put out was far beyond the norm, and they were much closer to the shore than any of the other battles that Jenso had taken part in. Geode looked over his shoulder and clenched his ghostly hand.

"He's.. Coming..."

Jenso turned towards Geode and frowned. "Yes...my friend is coming this way. I'm sorry things ended up this way, Geode." Jenso explained to him. Geode seemed awfully on edge about the matter, though. Was he really talking about Mikey? Jenso began to look around. "Or are you...talking about someone else?" He added. He paused for a moment. "Wait...what the hell happened to Vale?!" He suddenly blurted out.

Geode's eyes flickered at the mention of Vale. Where did the vampire slink away to? He couldn't sense the void in his soul. So that must've meant... Had he dived into the ocean unseen!? It didn't matter now, though. Geode shook his head and turned to Jenso. "Not your friend..." Suddenly, in a flash of red light, several figures formed into view behind Jenso and Oswald.

A giant, standing high above the other five with his arms crossed his his brightened smile shining below a set of arrogant, eager eyes.

A shorter man, his arms also crossed, standing below the elbows of his larger ally with lazy, uninterested eyes.

A woman garbed in purple with her stomach revealed, and a large burn mark scarring her belly, with angry, fiendish eyes.

A Small girl, hunched over and curiously gazing upon Jenso and Oz, ignorant of the happenings.

An armoured man who looked upon Jenso with grief and worry, forced into position next to the final figure who stood at the center of the group.

Yzeira's eyes wandered from Geode, back to Jenso. "Quite a ruckus," He said calmly, "I was right to infer your presence."

Jenso turned to Yzeira and glared at him. He appeared here and now, of all times? The citadel was about to explode, and now he had to deal with all six of them. Jenso's stance remained resolute besides the fact that he and Oz were outnumbered. "Yzeira." Jenso simply said, overlooking the enemies before him. There was no way that he could take on all six of them at once. Of course, he didn't want to fight Nexus anyway. "I'm assuming that you'll attempt to kill me again."

"It's about that time, yes," Yzeira admitted. Rajaka stomped the ground a few times to test the durability of the platform below them, cracking it into several shards that barely managed to hold themselves together.

"Uh, boss? We've got like, 5 minutes til' this whole thing comes down, tops," Rajaka stated. 5 minutes? Was he right? Did he understand how time worked? Who knew. Zelriane sighed and shook his head.

"Not five," He corrected, "We have as much time as that one can manage this form of his. " Zelriane pointed at Oz as he spoke and then lowered his hands.

"Fall.." Shadra murmured quietly.

"Why don't we speed up the process a bit hun?" Ada suggested, stepping forwards and conjuring a mass of purple goo around her hand. Yzeira rose his arm to block her path, and she froze in place. "Huh?.. Master?"

"This is my only offer," Yzeira announced. Ada's eyes narrowed and he usual dominant stance faltered to one of submission before she stepped back and dispelled the goo around her hand. She was being ignored. "My only offer." Yzeira looked at Jenso with his eyes flickering with a resolute flare, unblinking and focused. "Will you listen?" Nexus looked at Jenso with concern as Yzeira spoke. "Jenso?"

Oz tilted his head back to see them. He made a downward motion with his left hand that the colossus mirrored, drawing a massive arm into middle of the platform to separate Jenso and Oz from the Order of Chaos the moment they started making threatening gestures. "Measure... your words.. carefully, Jenso." Oz warned through heavy breaths.
