Yeah, pretty soon, it is almost 11 here. Got work tomorrow and it is card game day.

He sends preparing for bed for the night.

Full day of school so we will have fewer people until around 4 then should get flooded.

Ele sent, smiling at Tyler's use of her last name. Rolling over, Ele plugged her phone in and was about to turn off her side table light when she remembered she was alone. Hesitating for a moment, she remembered Tyler's words and clicked off the light.

The next morning Ele woke early and went through her old routine of showering, doing her hair, getting dressed in her business clothes, and checking her emails as she walked out the door with her purse over her arm. Back in her old mindset, Ele picked up breakfast from her favorite bakery on her way to work and texted Tyler,

Good morning!

Meeting Kate outside of their coffee shop, the two got their morning drinks and continued to their big, silver, shiny work building. The doors were still locked to the public so the women scanned their ID badges and the security doors opened for them.

As they walked through the lobby, Ele's phone vibrated in her purse. Checking it and smiling, Ele typed back,

Meh, it would have been better with you in the bed too.

Sending that, Ele looked at Kate who was watching her.

"What?"

"I haven't seen that look on your face before,"

The tall, curvy blonde said, smiling proudly at her friend,

"You're really in love with this guy, aren't you?"

Ele blushed and smiled, pushing a lock of hair behind her ear as they got on the elevator,

"Yeah... I really am."

You should bring Kate back with you when you come home. Be nice to meet her in person and see the person you talk so highly of.

He sets the phone down, going to work helping a player find some cards.

Reading Tyler's message, Ele's face broke out into a big smile and she held the phone up for Kate to see. The blonde read the message then laughed,

"I like him! Tell him I'd be happy to come for a couple days!"

Texting Tyler back as the doors opened to their floor, Ele and Kate walked out as Ele typed,

She says yes! Maybe we put her in the suite to use up the rest of the reservation there?

At her desk, Ele set her things down, then booted up her computer. She would send her resignation via email first, and then deliver it in person to her boss.

Ele sent back, then got up and took her letter to her boss. As predicted, the man had a tantrum, but Ele simply walked out of the office. Tyler wasn't there, but his influence had strengthened her.

I have something I am building for a man cave right now. ;) involves certain pieces of a car that we won't be able to use in a traditional sense.

As he sends the message a kid steps up to the counter placing a binder.

"I wanna sell everything in here and maybe purchase a deck. How much can I get for them?"

Tyler takes the binder and searches through, checking each side.

"If you sell to me I would pay a half of what they were worth cuz I need to make money back on them. But based on what I see, I can offer you...65 bucks."

The kid smiles.

"So if I sell it online or private I could get 130?"

"Yeah about that."

Thinking about it he looks up.

"If I do the sale could I buy it back for the same price if I decide I want them back?"

"Yeah you could, I tend to sell binders as a package deal so I will let you take it back at the price I bought it."

The kid nods.

"I will do that then."

Tyler makes the deal with the kid. Kid taking the money decides to wait on buying a deck.

"Thanks."

He says and takes off. Finally texting back to her he says.

Just bought a kids binder of cards, think he is happy that he is 65 bucks richer.

Going down in the elevator, Ele felt her phone buzz in her bag, but her hands were full with her box. Going out into the lobby though, Ele put her box on the info counter to check the message,

"Elenna? Elenna Roxanne Davis? Is that you?"

Ele froze at the mention of her full name, she hadn't even told Tyler, so only one person in the world knew her name. Still holding her phone, Ele could feel her face pale when she locked eyes with a woman who strongly resembled her, but for the obvious signs of drug use and grey hair streaking her faded red hair.

Standing behind her was a skinny man with salt and pepper hair, his face pock marked from heavy drug use, one of men who haunted her dreams.

Stumbling back as the woman approached her with open arms,

"Don't you dare touch me!"

"Baby! It's me! Your Momma!"
