Smiling, Ele stepped back to make room for Eric, then followed him up. Her pocket buzzed and Ele looked at her phone screen,

"I blocked my mom on social media, but she keeps making new accounts and messaging me."

A smile spreading over her face as she handed Eric her phone with the message from her mother on it.

Taking the phone Eric initiated a voice chat with her. Getting her on the line he starts talking.

"Hallo, who dis?"

The sound of Ele's mom mumbling, showing she was on something.

"Noooo, this not Ele, she sold me her phone. I named Coco Bongo, my lemur friends named me that."

He looks at Ele clearly holding back a laugh.

"No, she sold me this phone, I was trying to find payphone but we have none out here. Told her I needed to call the lemurs, she said she wanted to get a new phone so she sold me this phone right then and there."

He takes a long breath and starts talking in tongue. As he is doing this Ele's mom says something.

"Oh, my sorry, nobody but I and the lemurs can speak that."

He keeps up the talking, eventually the line goes quiet and the call ends. Looking at Ele he hangs up and immediately starts laughing.

Looking at Eric like he was a lunatic, Ele laughed and texted Tyler, having to start over multiple times,

My mom called again and Eric trolled her like a boss!

Yup! I think he confused her for a while! I miss you, honey. I want to come home.

Following Eric upstairs, Ele was introduced to the basement which was amazing and gave Ele dreams of having a finished basement in the future.

Ele said with a sigh, sitting on an ottoman,

"Sometimes I just wonder a little bit if he thinks I'm too young for him. He's eight years older than me."

Giving Eric a half smile and shrug Ele continued,

"I know he loves me, why would he being doing all of this if he didn't? But at the same time, I very much need that verbal affirmation."

"He loves dating younger women, he tends to date women 5 to 10 years younger than himself. When I first met him he was talking with this one girl who was 21, he was 31. Before that another girl I found out was 20 when he was 29. He told me that he tends to go out on dates with girls considerably younger. He looks so much younger so he hangs out more with people that are as old as he looks."

He shrugs his shoulders.

"Probably makes him feel younger and he likes the feeling."

"This is news to me."

Ele said, feeling a little shocked and somewhat hurt. Tyler hadn't told her that he did this often, but he had told her that he hadn't had a serious relationship since his last big heartbreak. It seemed that there was a pattern of two years and then moving on though. And Ele was already older than the girls Eric had just described. Did that mean their relationship had a self-life already?

Looking crestfallen, Ele bit her lip but tried to push aside the negative feelings,

"What's the artistic thing you have for me?"

She asked, her voice quiet.
