"There is a local graffiti area. Artists like to go there and tag the walls. It is an underground "bunker", it was donated to the local artist club in the area and they decided instead of hanging art, they would let people tag the place."

He says looking over at her.

"I am sure you would enjoy yourself."

Ele said, picking up some cans and giving Eric a small smile,

"I was kind of a troublemaker, even after I left home. I stayed in school and got the grades for scholarships, but after school and on weekends I was a bit of a wild child."

Perking up a bit at the prospect of doing some art, Ele followed Eric from the house and the few blocks to the bunker. Feeling excited, Ele was already forming an idea of what she wanted to do.

They reach the bunker and walk in through a heavy steel door. Inside the bunker they are greeted by UV and neon lights. The tagging on the walls and ceiling glow in some spots.

Upon opening the door, Ele gasped and moved past Eric to look around at the space. It was massive, but almost every inch of wall space was taken up by graffiti.

"It's like a club!"

Laughing, Ele moved in farther, her eyes roaming around the walls to find a space suitable for what she wanted. Finding somewhere, Ele looked at what was already there and realized it was teenage scrawl, nothing anyone would miss.

"What are you thinking about doing?"

"I think I know what I'm going to do..."

Ele said, staring at the space. Turning to Eric, Ele smiled,

"Can I have the white for now?"

Claiming the color, Ele got to work covering the old scrawls. Once there was a good cover, she went back into the bag for the colors she would need. Settling in, Ele got to work.

He hands her the white and grabs the blue, taking over a crudely drawn naked man. Calling out to Ele he says.

"Poor guy, he is like a child."

Pointing at the picture with a laugh. In a wide spray he begins spraying the wall with the blue, laying out a wide base. Grabbing a black he layers it over the blue, causing them to mix and run a bit, dragging a tool through it to blend them.

Working quietly, Ele got in her zone, that empty head space that concentrated solely on the art coming from her. Using her hands and sometimes the tools Eric brought, Ele began creating the image of the snowy owl that they had encountered at the bar.

Grabbing a silver he starts dotting the image randomly, adding constellations as he goes. Looking at the image he studies it, eventually he grabs the can of white, adding wispy little clouds, blending them slightly with the black.

In her headspace, Ele hardly heard Eric, her fingers on the wall now, blending the colors to create a soft, watercolor-like picture of the owl, her head turned to watch the room with bright yellow eyes.

Chuckling he looks at her, finishing his piece. He walks over to her side and watches her painting. He smiles and licks his lips walking back over to his side, spray painting a wolf howling up at the moon. He finishes it up and walks back over continuing to watch Ele once again, knowing if he says anymore she will not hear him fully with being in the zone.

A while later, Ele leaned back after putting the finishing touches on the owl, shadows and shade where it needed it. Her hands were covered I paint, and her clothes were splattered as well.

Smiling and nodding with content, Ele looked at Eric, then at his starscape and wolf,

"Wow! That's beautiful!"

Blushing, Ele wiped at the paint on her fingers,

"Snowy owls are my favorite, and a few nights ago we went to Vale's bar. They played some owl noises and this one came."

She gestured at the wall,

"It was also the night Tyler and I kissed for the first time."
