I need a group that knows what their doing and doesnt mind picking me up and showing me the ropes... I need help, just making the damn character sheet... Help me make sense of the D&D world please!!!

@Drazah Do you have any experience doing tabletop? A lot the tabletop games here are pretty beginner friendly and D&D 5th edition is very easy to get into. However, it seems that not many people on this website play much tabletop so it might be hard to find an open campaign and a willing DM. I'd recommend that you check out roll20.net which is specific to tabletop gaming and has an incredibly robust community. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me! : )

@Drazah, there is also a tabletop channel on the Roleplayer Guild Discord. Assuming you go there at a busy time of day, you are likely to receive a great number of answers at a fairly rapid rate. There is also a "battle dome", where you can actually roll dice and in rare cases, see people actually playing instances of Dungeons and Dragons. I myself tend to patrol that territory, so your questions are not far off from receiving answers.
