The Eaten themselves only have enough magic in them to create potions and maybe cast a couple low level spells. Maybe since Energy Witches have spirit stuff and the curse is partly spiritual in nature they can temporarily banish the invisibility. I imagine that the Eaten's magic is basically like the coals after a fire, the heat is still kinda there but it would take some work to "light it up" so to speak. If an Eaten dedicated themselves to developing their magic they might be able to get the majority of it back, but it would take a couple decades at least. Anyway I'll get a CS up here sometime soonish. Might have to steal some of these CS formats, they are pretty good.

@Pathfinder That's essentially what I meant. I wasn't very clear in my idea I suppose.

@GodOfWar The only issues I see are that your shape-shifters are basically Lycans with mating marks. Shape-shifters' animal forms are the same size as the real animal. So a wolf would be the same size as a wolf in nature. Also, your character would not have mating marks because she isn't mated, females don't get theirs until they meet their mate. After which they only receive the outlines and it colors in the more contact they have before finally completing at the mating ceremony. If she was mated, her mate wouldn't let her out of his sight for more than an hour or so at a time, in other words no school. Aside from that, mating marks are utterly unique and vary from couple to couple, shape-shifters do not pick their mates either. They're incapable of reproducing with anyone other than their true mate. That's why I mentioned above that your idea is essentially a Lycan. Lycans always breed true and can reproduce with nearly any species though most commonly either humans or their own kind. If you swapped over to a Lycan and turned the mating marks you've listed into ceremonial/traditional tattoos I'd be happy to accept. I hope I don't sound like a picky asshole lol I try and be overly clear so everyone is on the same page.

No problem, I hear ya. I'll update Haka-Mesuka with more appropriate Lycan features. Thank you for addressing the issues thoroughly, I've had it too many times where GMs gave updates very vaguely and thus I had to do the sheet 3 or more times to their liking. It's good you're the opposite.

In-Depth Appearance: Like most of her species Kat is quite the big girl, coming in at a whopping six feet tall and two hundred pounds of pure muscle she is a well built young woman. Her usual attire consists of baggy pants, crop tops or her signature star jacket, she doesn’t wear a lot of jewelry other than the solid gold ‘#1’ chain that she keeps hung around her neck at nearly all times even while sleep accompanied by a pair of aviator shades she seems to wear every day. The star tattoos on her wrists aren’t the only places where she has ink, her back has a large star outline with the words ‘Queen Oni’ along with her upper thighs have smaller stars placed upon them. Kitten sports a ball tongue piercing placed on the center of her tongue that she can interchange with other balls and different metals.

Brief Personality:
Kat loved to drink and eat constantly having the metabolism to devour someone out of house and home and not gain much fat from it. She’ll drink far more than liquor than one would consider unhealthy and continue to drain bottles until she passes out and wakes up with no reproductions. She’s very competitive both physical and mental challenges where she can prove she can be better than someone else. At her core Katarina has a lot of moxie to the point of it being completely obnoxious and overbearing to deal with, she won’t back down from anyone or anything going far above acceptable healthy lengths to get better than someone to prove herself. A very blunt individual and incapable of keeping secrets she’ll let anyone know where they stand with her and speak her mind always.

Brief description of the Oni: An Oni varies greatly depending on whose explaining it from devils, ogres, and trolls to gigantic titans is hard to get a grip on what a real Oni. Humanoid for the most part some like Kat even passing completely if it weren’t for her titanic strength and supernatural healing accompanied with her near infinite digestive system.

Age: somewhere in his early twenties, technically around his mid forties.

Appearance: A scrapper through and through, Griffin has a body that is well developed to fighting, running, and other forms of mischief. He is a little on the smaller side, being 5'9, and while he doesn't particularly care it would be a mistake to repeatedly bring it up. Griffin wraps himself in bandages that cover much of his body, namely the head, torso, and extremities. On top of that he wears anything he can scrounge from a thrift store, usually t-shirts, flannels, tough jeans, and steel toed kickers. However he has also made some rather flamboyant purchases like a sleeveless denim vest pockmarked with various buttons, leather biker chaps, and a purple "Pimp hat" he stole from an actual pimp. The only omnipresent object in his wardrobe is a pair of thick, heavily tinted sunglasses.

Brief Personality: Griffin is a 1980 metalhead that never really left that decade. He's rough and rowdy, always looking for something to keep his heart pounding and the adrenaline pumping. Thinking ahead is nearly anathema to him and impulse control is foreign concept, instead always living in the moment and leaving tomorrow's hangover to tomorrow's Griffin. However this isn't to say he's all tequila and blow, catch him on a slow day and you'll find the enthusiastic potion brewer who is always eager to talk shop or silent motorcyclist who's always got an open seat for someone who needs it. Yet deeper still you'll find the real Griffin, a desperate man who tries in vain to fill a void that can't be patched over. Admittedly has a substance abuse problem, albeit a fairly mundane one compared to what he could be filling himself with.

Familiar: A large, almost purple raven named Poe. She's a total sweetheart.

@Shard - It is pretty adorable, he'll have to try extra hard to keep it a secret. Which in a slice of life theme means he's doomed to have it exposed at some point.

@Rhiannon I, too, added a bit of backstory to Ethra to cement her as being part of an actual species. Added a natural ability too, but it's up to your jurisdiction if it stays or not.

If nothing else, you can do what I did. Create your own species. You could make a Summoner type. In Final Fantasy 9, summoners are an actual race, if you need any inspiration.

@shagranoz I need to know what kind of summoning we're talking about and @Shard is correct depending on what you want to do that may be the easier route. It all depends on what kind of summoning you're wanting your character to preform. Summoning is pretty advanced magick.

@Rhiannon I mean, not all of the characters are wealthy enough to afford premium, right? I was thinking it'd just be reliant on the sum of the wealth of each pair. Like if one student is rich and the other's comparitively poor, they could get a better room anyway on the richer student's expense, but two poors just get a standard room.

@Shard It's odd that you mention a staff because Ivy most certainly does have one. She also has a dog, well it might be a dog, she's not completely sure what he is. She's not based off that winter queen though. She's more based off Donia in the books by Melissa Marr appearance wise. I think Raven will find he likes her much better in person.
