@IrishAngelQueen, hello. We had a life goddess (Slough), although her player retired so there is definitely a vacancy in that position (although canonically Slough isn't dead, partly because that might screw over life across the entire universe).

You will need to find some new parents, though. The old gods are dead. Some have reincarnated, but most are gone. We had a death god, but he's now dead himself. And we've already pulled one demigod from his corpse, so it might be a stretch to pull another one out. However, since Slough is still alive, we can consider using her.

An interesting dichotomy to your life demigod is an up-and-coming (unless the player dropped off the face of the internet) demigod of rot, Pelegath. @Jarl Coolgruuf. I don't remember what plans he had for Pelegath's parents, but possibly you can have them linked.

I'm up with using Slough and Pelegath. could we create Athanasios (that's what i'm going to call him), from her body? That would be cool, would it not? Or maybe she creates him. that'd be awesome.

As Jarl has mysteriously combusted (it wasn't me this time, I swear), we can safely assume that Pelegath isn't in the game. So we're left with Slough. Creating a demigod from her is fairly easy, with all the rot and whatnot she leaves about the place.

In other news, this is perfect: newyorker.com/news/daily-comment/the-…
Go forth, ye people, and read it and be happy and laugh and make merry. And be pleased.

And on that day, the IC surrendered itself wholeheartedly to all things tentacley and fleshy and Jvany. And it loved every second of it.

@IrishAngelQueen The idea is fairly strong, you're filling an obvious gap left by the retirement of Slough's player - go for it :)

Y'know after a while of neglecting this place, I thought to myself, 'Wow, dude seriously stop being lazy and write something' which my mind then forgot approximately two seconds later after Supernatural came on. Then, I proceeded to ignore this place even more and another thought came to me, 'lol wow this guy is hacking' as I was playing Halo 5 and getting destroyed before a sudden shock came to me 'SHHHHHHHIIIIIITTT I forgot to do shit for the thing!'

None of the above is true, I am just a scumbag. Time to start writing once more for the single greatest character in this RP!

Today I had a nice surprise, for once.

The last test I had this semester was an economics one, and I thought I absolutely messed it up, I mean, there was this one table which I filled every single one of the 10 rows of a column with "$5".

Somehow I actually aced it and was the only one in my class to get a certain question right, the $5 one of all things.

This also means I am a free capybara now. yay.

While I lack authority to accept your character, I have feedback anyway.

I do love the concept, of a compassionate healer, with a deep empathetic bond with those around him.

Although you undersell the potential power of your Portfolio. Your Portfolio is Life (Healing). This gives Athanasios godly power in Healing. I see no reason why your healing powers can't fix fatal injuries. Having resurrection be beyond his powers seems reasonable if you want that restriction, although with that Domain/Portfolio, even as a demigod, you could easily claim that power. Resurrection is technically within the default abilities of a god, so a demigod with an appropriate Domain/Portfolio should be able to perform that too. Athanasios' morality (or the painful side-effects) might mean he chooses not to fix most fatal injuries, but I think it is something he should have the power to do.

I'm pretty sure you start with just one Portfolio, so you would have to pick up Wilderness later.

And minor pedantic detail,
19 | Male | 6'8 | 198 lbs
Most of this information is misleading. With three forms, the height and weight data could only apply to one (and it actually disagrees with the 6'7" described later). And the age doesn't actually describe Athanasios' age at all- maybe just how old he looks when compared to mortals.

All-in-all, though, I think it is pretty good. I look forwards to seeing Athanasios in action.

First, though, you need to figure out the finer details of Athanasios' birth.

Thanks, man. I love constructive criticism. I'll fix it and add a creation thing to his profile. Or should I use that as my first post? That's what the others have been doing, I see.

*edit-feel free to take a look at his sheet, again. I believe I've fine tuned most of it except for his birth

@IrishAngelQueen The birth is played out IC. Normally, you would figure out who your parents would be then make specific arrangements via PM, then write a post together. You're in an interesting position where your parent is technically an NPC, with no associated (active) player, so I'm not sure who is going to play Slough in this instance.

It sounds like a situation where the GMs would step in.

@IrishAngelQueen Before venturing to accept or reject your CS, we're going to need a brief summary of your plans for the first few posts/ an idea for a first story arc. This is just to ensure that you've got something in mind and can go right into it rather than feel confused and unsure about what to go about doing (an issue we've had with a number of players who attempted to join).

But then you would miss the hot fire-whip action. And you wouldn't want to miss that now would you ;P
