Her parents didn't care one bit for her and sent her to live with her uncle, who didn't care for her any more than they did. After a few months her uncle dropped her of in the slums and never came back. In the time that she was in the slums she met a few people and made some friends, a few even thought her hand-to-hand, swordplay, and how to roughhouse and win. She assumed her friends had been ex-criminals and knights fallen from grace. After learning from her friends for a good amount of years all she had to do was flex her muscle as well as gain muscle, figuratively and literally.
