Ever since birth, you've sworn to fight against oppression. You chose to fight for your federation in a war that had seen no end. There is no turning back, even now. You are left with every choice except surrender, and you have embraced that truth ever since you were admitted into the army. Amidst the battlefield, you have shown valor and honor in combat. Your spaceship sails across the stars, engaging in heated firefights every now and then.
However your journey ends here.
Your ship, once the pride of your military career, is now in shambles. It cruises downwards, threatening to crash into an unknown planet. You have nothing left to do other than brace yourself and cross your fingers...
You wake up, greeted by the rays of the ever-present sun. People toll up and down the streets, each with their own jobs to do. You have your own schedule, so you decide to stand up and begin your day.
You have never known more than what your homeland provided you with. You have admired the knights, who fought for the kingdom with their trusty blades and arcane magic. You have feared the dragons, griffons, and other monstrosities that roamed the land. The hills are green, and the scenery is beautiful. You have never thought of leaving the land that has cradled you for all these years, and you wonder what lies beyond the mighty mountains
However, your day isn't going out as planned. A strange vehicle has landed nearby, and the boarders of the vehicle are asking you where a mechanic could be found.
Mechanic? You have never even heard of that!
The premise of this RP is that a couple of spacefaring people end up in a medieval civilization wherein magic actually exists. The spacers have seen civilizations with advanced technology. They may either be soldiers or not, so if you actually read the prologue I wrote up there and decide "I don't want to be a soldier, I'm not joining." then I suggest that you still try to submit a CS, because I can alter the situation based on the players' needs. If you want to play as a space pirate, then that'd be more than fine with me.
Now, the spacers end up in a civilization wherein magic prevails, and the level of technology in this civilization is medieval. Gunpowder exists, but it is rendered useless in front of powerful magic. The steam engine has not been invented yet, so expect citizens to still be riding horses and carriages. People believe in deities, and they are worshiped by a certain part of the populace. Mythical creatures, like dragons and wyverns, exist in this world. If anybody wants to play as a medieval steampunk character who can create industrial-era technology or anything more advanced, I will gladly allow it. However, expect your character to be called a heretic and exiled from society, if so.
The player may choose to either play as a spacefarer or a medieval-era citizen. When enough interest is shown, I will write up the lore are get the OOC running. You may already create destinations and events that will help me in creating the lore.
With that said, thanks for viewing!
