Fond greetings, all!

I'm interested in writing and escaping from life into vast expanses of hidden realms and strange ages. That is to say, I am a bit wordy. Not exactly an advanced roleplayer, I just like to write flowery and vivid descriptions of things like I'm some sort of goth kid from the 1990s.

Probably because I grew up around then. Anyway I am older now. And hopefully wiser. Either way I am bored with existence and I want to strengthen my imagination. So roleplaying sounds like a great option.

And this site seems pretty awesome. So here I am.

I have no particular interests or expectations at this this time, other than wanting to stay away from RPs that are very realistic/slice-of-life-ish. I like the weird, mysterious, and obscure. Maybe fantasy or sci-fi or some other strangeness would be interesting. So here's to finding something cool. And cheers to all of you.

Seems like we have common ground in our dislike for "realistic Roleplays" as well as our interest in "strangeness" (which actually carries over to real life in my case as a rookie paranormal investigator). I imagine that it won't be difficult for you to find a Roleplay, but if you have any questions regarding the site or its layout, then don't hesitate to ask!

I know. People are so against weirdness. I once tried describing my interests as "dark" when I was in a mood to write about monsters, and forbidden dark magic, and everyone sort of assumed I wanted to write about addiction, torture and/or abuse. So, I am hoping that "strange" gets my intention across more efficiently.

And woe betide such pretentious, and unimaginative fools as those who dismiss the glorious, joy-bringing art that is flowery writing!

I'd also say don't be discouraged that you haven't seen anything. Some of the strangest phenomenae might be tasted, smelt, touched, or heard, after all.
