Possession exists & those inflicted are to be slain, no questions asked. Even though the Council has the ability to cleanse the body via exorcism, the soul is forever lost. Exorcism leaves an empty vessel, allowing something much more sinister to transpire there. They aptly named these monsters as such, “Lacunas”. Lacunas no longer appear human; they are enormous in size, strong beyond measure, & horrifying to behold. The members of the Council have since banned the practice & decreed the most effective way to rid a being of a demonic presence is to simply eradicate the whole body. Thus, a new trade formed; devil hunting.

My character is one such unfortunate being; a woman slowly consumed by a demon within. Instead of wallowing in self pity or meeting an early demise, she has decided to open up her own devil hunting agency. For a half demon to participate in slaying their own kind is absolutely unheard of. Very few can withstand or control their demon counterparts. Alas, no one will work with her & other hunters continuously try to take her life. Fortunately, she remains alive because of her skill & none of the hunters have been able to kill her -- yet. Also, her mother, currently deceased, was on the Council long ago. The first women ever to be granted a seat; that's about as much as they have allowed my character to know. Said fact should grant her immunity but instead means little in their eyes given the state of things. The Council is forbidden to kill so they have no choice but to keep a watchful eye on the half demon. Still, she tries to win back favor from the Celestial Court in hopes to one day be purified & sit among them. Little does she know what awaits in the future & that she is nothing more than a pawn.

Spoiler: In truth, the Council or Celestial Court is a group of corrupted ancient beings. The council has severed ties with the holy long ago. 

It's kind of a mess but I just really want a badass rp with proper action & shit. XD

YOUR CHARACTER
This leaves your character. You have many options; he could be sent by the Council to kill her, a human caught in the crosshairs [I wouldn't recommend this choice, however], another half demon, or something else. Be sure to create someone who has his own inner workings, goals, & issues. I am not looking for a one dimensional character just along for the ride. 

MISC.
Inspired by Devil May Cry, probably some songs, & other games. There are a few plot holes that we need to patch up. So, I expect you to throw in a few ideas to help flesh out the story.

3+ paragraphs minimum; I tend to write more & would appreciate a partner who can dish out some descriptive posts. I appreciate detail & want to improve my abilities.
I do my best with grammar, but mistakes happen. Commas are often abused on my end, I'll admit. As long as you make a conscious effort to write clearly, we'll be alright.
Please be at least 18 years of age. This rp will have mature content like violence, language, & blood. I also find nothing wrong with smut as long as it makes sense & isn't gratuitous.
Obviously, I would like the rp to include the possibility of romance. A slow burn is good. Sexual tension is great. Nothing forced, of course. Platonic friendship between characters is nice but something more is always welcomed.
If we don't happen to mesh well or our characters clash beyond reason (to the point where it's unbearable), we can drop. If we get bored we can either drop, make something happen, or start a new rp. I have a ton of ideas running around in my head, so I am always on board to create another story.
It would be nice to get a heads up if you want to drop the rp but lets be honest, that doesn't always happen. If I am suddenly receiving silence on your end I'll give you 5 days or so to respond. I may give you a poke via pm but won't harass you. Even over the internet it can be difficult to tell someone they aren't interested anymore. Sometimes people become overwhelmed & go on a hiatus. I get it. If you want to continue to rp but are momentarily busy, just drop me a message & we can put the rp on hold.
I am naturally shy & not much of a chatty person but will definitely converse/collab on our story. No worries there.
Seeing as mature content is allowed here, I really don't see a reason to rp off site.

On a more serious note: I am sick, incurably so. Role playing is an escape & makes me quite happy. However, I cannot physically or mentally write on a daily basis. It takes a toll, but I don't want to give up. It's difficult not being able to fully immerse yourself in a hobby that you love so much. Sometimes, it takes a good while for me to respond. So, I don't expect my partner to pump out posts like a court stenographer. None-the-less, I will communicate with you about when my posts will be typed up. Basically, I am looking for a partner with patience. XP
