A 1x1 roleplay between The Cleaner and myself, Genkai.

A quick summary of our plot:

Logan and Diana cross paths during World War 1 and team up to bring an end to the war's bloodshed. The two form a friendship on the battlefield while fighting alongside one another in the trenches of war. As time progresses, she and Logan lose contact but seem to always find a way back to one another. Logan and Diana both embark on their own path, following their own desires but whenever they do reunite, they are surrounded by new allies and enemies. The two come to encounter Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr in their youth and work with them to bring down Shaw. Through the passage of time, they lose touch but soon find themselves in Hell's Kitchen together, dealing with a man with the power to control others and a man who is blind but also fearless. Both Diana and Logan continue to fight alongside one another, eventually reaching a point where Laura, Logan's cloned daughter, appears in need of help. Within several decades, both Diana and Logan see friends lose against the battle with time all while continuing to figure out what they themselves fight for.

Glad to be aboard! A delightful little snippet of the story to come! Also, just to add: The picture you chose of Wonder Woman just makes the little theme she has in the movie play in my head every single time. Kudos to that!

Thanks, her theme was great, I almost wish they used it a touch more often in the film.

In regards to your comment in PM, we can spend more time on the island, that's totally fine with me. I think it would help since they probably have a ton of questions for each other, plus Logan is a very different example of most men, in sooo many ways. If anything, Diana is gonna wonder why Logan looks so different, in terms of build. I also have to figure she'd comment on his physical skills during their time in WWI regarding how exceptional he is. I can only imagine the look of heartbreak when she reunites after he's had the adamantium put in. I can also see her tutting when the word 'mutant' is used because she probably sees that as a negative label.

And I can do the opener, I should have time tomorrow afternoon to settle in and listen to some Logan and WW soundtracks since those are the most fresh in my mind.

In terms of a post's typical side, what were you thinking?

Sorry, I didn't get updated for this and didn't notice even though I had it subscribed.

Like I said in the last PM, lots of things are going to be very intriguing on how they all play out. I can't imagine how she is going to feel when the world starts going into chaos of mutants and their abilities.

Both soundtracks are phenomenal, I might just have to indulge in re-listening to them as well!

Just write what you feel is needed for the scene, ya know what I mean? I'm game for whatever length you are wanting to do.

Diana and Charles will have good conversions, she and Erik...not so much. Were we gonna give Logan the Jean subplot? I never really thought much of it myself but it's up to you. I also did assume the second two x-men movies were going to be ignored but it depends how you want to play Logan.

I've had people say that but then vanish when I give a few paragraphs and then I wasted my time and it sucks. I'm sure when we add the other folks like Daredevil and the others, post will fluctuate in size though I do try to give at least 4-5 paragraphs. Usually more but seldom less. But again, I want to post where you're comfortable. :3

Oh I feel like Diana and Charles will get along pretty well. Erik can be a bit of a tough sell, but he's not entirely bad. Yes, he grows to become much, much worse, but I feel like he could be reasoned with towards the beginning. That's another fun little adventure we can be going down as well. To answer the question of what movies to be left out? Possibly. A lot of things will be very different, so we may not even end up getting to them in a state that is recognizable. Wonder Woman being introduced into the canon will certainly be time-line altering in of itself.

I promise you I do not plan to vanish at all. 4-5 paragraphs is a-okay in my book! I've certainly done more at times. But, you do not have to fear me just vanishing on you. I'll give you a heads-up if anything happens to warrant time away. I'm honestly comfortable with whatever you wanna do, I promise. :D

Oh and to answer the question of Logan and Jean Grey's subplot, nah. I doubt that would really come up with Diana in the picture. We'll cross that bridge when we get there, I guess?

True, we're creating our own timeline we just gotta make sure it makes sense to us.

It would be interesting to have Jean as a possible ally (not lover or crush?) turned enemy but then again they do have a ton to already reckon with in the future.

I'm probably going to bed shortly but when I get up tomorrow I'll work on something. I hope if there anything you do need in regards to an intro needing to be tweaked, let knoe. Some folks just ghost but if there's an error I'd rather talk and patch it up than to just flee. But I think so far we've been fairly good with slinging ideas back and forth. :)

I'm slowly getting work done on the post! Just had some shoulder pains today, so I have been taking it slowly for the moment.
