Welcome to Codex’s 1x1 Interest Check, it is a pleasure to have you. A little bit about me: I am a 24-year-old female (doesn’t matter to me what gender you are but I understand for some strange reason it matters to other people) and I prefer to RP with 18+ given that I prefer romance RPs. I work a full-time job in retail and so I work odd hours but am usually available at least once a day if not more. I have been out of the RP game for a little while (I was last on before Guild Fall) and so I would currently consider myself a casual RPer. I can play male or female and can play FxF, MxF and MxM pairings but prefer them in the order I just specified (greatest interest to lowest interest).


They are sometimes a necessary evil but I’ll try to keep it brief.

• You must be 18+ to RP with me, this is non-negotiable (yes, I am aware that I have no way of verifying this but I would hope you’d be respectful of someone’s wishes).
• All RPs I participate in will have some form of romance but that does not have to be the sole focus of the RP.
• Do NOT ask me to PM you, this is my interest check so I am clearly interested in RPing. I just think it’s rude to go to someone else’s interest check and tell them to PM you when you are perfectly capable of PMing the original poster. -gets off soap box-
• Either PM me or mention me in your reply so that I will know to respond to you.
• When telling me you are interested please let me know if you are interested in FxF, MxF or MxM and which character you would prefer to play. For MxF pairings I do prefer to play the male.

@codex Quick question! For your fandoms, do you use OCs or canons?

@GenkaiTypically I use OCs but can plan canon depending on which character.

@codex Do you think within Harry Potter or Hunger Games, you might be open to using a certain canon? I would also be using a canon as well, as I can't easily plot for OCs or get as invested in them as say, the canons I know and love which is why I ask.

@Genkai It would depend on the plot. Anything particular you have in mind? For example, in Harry Potter I won't typically play a member of the trio but have played members of the Marauder's in AU versions of the story line.

@codex I would say in Harry Potter, I'd prefer something during the trio's era as the Marauder's era doesn't quite interest me much. With the main trio and the surrounding characters (like Ginny, Luna, Draco etc) we could do something slightly AU like changing the Houses (ex: Harry in Slytherin, Hermione in Ravenclaw for example) or kill a major role like say Ron or Ginny. Or we could do something more traditional and pick things up between two books and take them in a new direction. Or even just pick things up when the trio return to school after defeating Voldemort. There are a lot of options depending on the characters and tone we wish to focus on. Personally I can play Hermione and probably Ron, Draco and maybe Luna?
