Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well. After a few days quietly (well, silently) observing the forums I decided this was probably the best place for a first post. I don't really know exactly what I'm meant to put here, but I used to do online roleplaying like this all the time a couple of years ago before I dropped off. I never did it here specifically, but this looks like an active and friendly place to pick it back up. So yeah, hi!

I've roleplayed in a lot of the popular fandoms like the Elder Scrolls, Skyrim, Game of Thrones/ASOIAF. They tend to be what I stick to, since I know them pretty well and can put a lot of thought and depth into creating characters and stories. But I do also enjoy playing in people's created worlds from time to time; it lets everyone flex their creativity a bit more freely. In terms of a genre its normally fantasy and sci-fi.

I like to post frequently, it keeps things moving smoothly and stops the story from breaking down. As for effort, I like to make my posts descriptive and detailed but I try to refrain from going overboard with fancy words and rambling. Posts can be too short, but can just as easily be too long.
