I still do not know what effect this would make on him. If it just disfigures him and makes him stronger/faster/more agressive, I don't think it would be much fun to really write as it is just an amplification of the character he already is. Is there something else he would/could gain besides than the aforementioned changes?

No. It's not a gain. He gets stronger and such but he starts to go insane and ferral. It's gonna be a plot point. There's a cure, but it would allow your character to handle the knowledge that he might go rabid.

I knew that he would go feral, but it just seems to me that he would basically just get somewhat more aggressive than he already is. Though writing about a descent into insanity is something I could do. One of my First characters was a guy that had an internal voice that attempted to goad him into violence, and I could replicate it here. Still kind of interested.

How would he be made aware of the infection? is yours or a co-gm's char going to tell mine?

Feral as in completely inhuman. Nothing left but the desire to feed, at all costs, is my understanding.

I would assume the onslaught of deformities beginning and / or the loss of cognitive control, a kind of cognitive dissonance if you will, would be what would alert one to the onset of the Infection. Add in the increase in speed and strength in parallel to the rate of Infection...

Though Sarafine could, for fact, tell you. Assuming she cared enough to and was around your character. Which I intend for all PCs to bet with Sarafine over the course of a few weeks.

@Old Amsterdam Has it correct @Lurking Shadow It would take about a week, maybe slightly more depending, to turn you completely feral like the others. Unless you get the cure, which is gonna be a part of the plot. Sarafine could tell you, so could Jackson, and maybe a Warlock or two.

Arthur and Zeiss are coming toward the epicenter, so they might meet a character or so to gather information and figure what's going on. Feel free to interact with them. Gotta give posts breathing room so I didn't want to immediately jump into them meeting up with other characters.

If you'll let me give Conall a voice in his head than I am willing to do it, otherwise I don't think it would be much fun for me to write. I also do not intend him to reach the final stage of the infection where his mental state would fully deteriorate. I would write him seeking a cure.

You can have a voice in your head. There will be a cure. As I said, I have no intention of killing anyone's character unless they wish it. It's just part of the plot and allows for things to be interesting. @Lurking Shadow Basically your character will slowly start to go insane and feral, he'll grow deformities like conjoined limbs and his skin will get pale and gross looking. All within a week. However, since you'll end up getting cured, it won't be permanent.

Sounds good, I'll write some onset symptoms in my next post (tame stuff like maybe blurred vision or disorientation) and have it progress from there. @Old Amsterdam Conall is still on that street...alone if you are still wanting to interact.

@Override would you want Zeiss and Arthur to meet with Jackson since he's out and about? Probably allow Arthur to introduce himself as part of the Darkworld faction and Zeiss' mind to go on high alert.
