So! This interesting title somehow caught your attention and now you find yourself looking at my interest check. Great! This means I had success in attracting some attention. Here now, take a sit, have a cup of coffee - or tea if you prefer so - and get ready to learn a bit about me and my roleplaying preferences.
First and foremost, about me:
I'm a twenty years and I've been roleplaying for at least 6 years now - on and off. If you cut it down to the actual actively roleplay time, that'd make the impressive six years turn into unimpressive 2 years and a few months. Still, despite all this time, I have many struggles and even some regarding the english language. Reason is, I'm not a native english speaker and I've learned it all on my own thanks to the many years of gaming and interaction with english speakers. If some minor grammar mistakes bother you, my dearest apologies! I will always try my hardest, though.
And regarding trying my hardest, I try to contribute a lot to any roleplay I decide to take part in. I will add to the plot as much as I can, break my mind thinking on my characters and how I will play or portray them and basically dedicate most of me into the story. However, don't expect me to be 24/7 online. I work full time, I have a pretty active social life, I have two dogs (lol), so yeah, expect constant replies but not all the time!
As for my roleplaying itself, I like to believe I'm at the doorstep of advanced level, the only thing keeping me from it is the little problem regarding my english being imperfect and my lack of confidence to try. Which ultimately means I'm at a casual level of writing skill. I'd really love if I could get a partner who's experienced and advanced in terms of skill, as well as patient - so I could learn from he or she. But that's not the focus of this, at all.
Lastly, I'm a male and well, guess what? I don't mind roleplaying as either men or women and I don't care about your IRL gender either. I'm a writer and writing is all I'm here for, not trying to compensate anything, y'know? No offense.
What I expect from my partners:
As I've previously noted, english isn't my first language and I have a few struggles with it. Yet, I'd ask that my partners have some level of literacy, type in comprehensible manners, to not utilize of text speak (even in OOC it bothers me to death) and is capable of being detailed in their replies. I don't expect a minimal amount of text, no - but I'd rather avoid one/two lines only replies. They give me little to work with.
Furthermore, I'd like a partner that can be active in the plot and story. Someone who's participating, instead of just watching and playing along. Contribute, discuss, suggest - that kind of thing can move things around and make the roleplay enjoyable for both of us! I don't mind GMing and making decisions, but if I'm left to do everything on my own, I could as well write with myself.
Also, because I'm often interested in settings that involve at least a bit of graphic content (drug use, sexual, violence, etc), I will not roleplay with anyone younger than eighteen years old.
