Derek smiled softly at that question. "I'm a senior this year." He said looking at her. "What grade are you in? I mean we did just meet each other yesterday, so we still have a lot to learn about each other. Let's play 20 questions games." He said wondering if she wanted to play. He did want to get to know her. As they stopped at a stoplight, he pulled out his phone with the paper that girl wrote her number on and texted that girl a hello. She gave a quick response which surprised him.

Maybe he should hangout with that girl because it would get Cadence off his back, and he liked to have new company after a while.

"I'm a junior this year," she replied, and couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that they weren't in the same grade. Next year, she'd have a new roommate. Unless they get along as well as she and Derek currently do, Diana would have to go back to always speaking in a lower voice and constantly pretending to be a guy. She noticed Derek as he took out his phone to text the cashier. This time, she pushed back all traces of jealousy. She refused to be what kept Derek from finding a girl...friend?

Girlfriend. Of course Derek would want a girlfriend. Sure, he said previously that he 'doesn't do' relationships, but he's also said he wants to have a wife someday. Diana pondered this as they crossed the street.

They arrived at the other side of the road. "Sure, let's ask each other questions. I asked the last one so you ask now," she replied, kicking away a pebble that was in her path. She cleared her throat; preparing to start speaking in her Damien voice since the school wasn't far.

(Shoot I thought I posted sorry!)

Derek nodded, feeling weird for some reason when the girl texted him back in front of Diana so he ignored his phone. "Okay, okay.." he said thinking of a good question. What did he want to know about this girl? The fact that she was pretending to be a boy was weird but he liked it. "I want to ask what's your family like?" He asked while they approached the school.

(No worries!)

Diana hummed, then spoke in her Damien voice, "It's small, that's for sure. Just me and my parents." She smiled. Thinking about them made her feel a bit homesick, but she repressed those thoughts as they walked into the school. "We get along very well. My Dad's very funny... we have the same sense of humor. My mom is gentle and understanding, somebody I always know I can talk to when things get rough. We're as middle-class as you can get. Only eating out about once a week, buying generic brand items, hunting for coupons online... the list goes on."

She looked over at Derek. She didn't even have to ask to know his family situation wasn't as good as hers was. Instead of pressing about his own family, she chose an entirely new topic to inquire about. If they were ever to talk about his family, it would be best if it happened in private and if he was the one to bring it up. "Perhaps this is the most basic thing I could ask but... what do you want to do when you grow up? Who do you want to be?"

Derek raised an eyebrow and looked over at her. "The only people that ask me that are my counselors." He laughed, opening the door to go inside the school building. He went towards the elevator, pressing the button and waited for the doors to open. "What I want to be.. That's a good question. I don't know but my father wants me to run his company when I am old enough, and honestly that's what I've been relying on so that's my answer I guess.." Derek shrugged his shoulders with his hands in his pockets.

"Okay my turn to ask you something.. How many relationships have you been in?" He asked going into the elevator, waiting for her.

"Well, as long as that's what you want to do, that sounds like a great future," Diana replied, stepping into the elevator. "You'd have a title, money, and influence." The doors of the elevator closed and it started rising. She thought a bit before answering Derek's next question. "Hm... half of one." She laughed a bit. "It was back in middle school, so it doesn't really count. But the guy- I won't say his name- was nice and I gave him my first kiss. We dated for a couple months before he moved."

They got to the fifth floor and walked out of the elevator. "Let's see... what
is something you will never do again?" Diana asked, looking up at him.

"Oh that's a good question.. I think I'll never do acid again." Derek said laughing quietly when they got to their room. He opened the door. "I didn't mean to do it, if anything I was drunk and someone offered me the pill for some reason I thought it was a vitamin so that was fucking crazy." He said.

Diana strolled into the room behind him. "Acid, huh? I'm sad to say I'm not too surprised you've done it, even if it was by accident." She chuckled a bit and sat on the edge of her bed, facing the TV. "Say, where's the remote for that thing? I don't think I've seen it around since I arrived here. Maybe something good is on right now."

Derek laughed letting himself fall onto the bed. "Funny, but yeah it's not a surprise. Acid is fucking crazy." He said shaking his head then looked around, sitting up. "Probably under your bed." Derek said reaching over to grab it when he saw it and turned it on. "Okay, if you could get a tattoo what would you get?" He asked

"Oh, there it is. Toss me the remote, I was the one who was looking for it!" She held out her hand, a quirky smart-aleck grin on her face. "..and I can't see myself ever getting a tattoo, to be honest. Not my thing. But if I had to, I would get a dove around the top of one of my shoulder blades."

Derek looked over at her leaning against the wall. "Why birds?" He asked curiously then looked at the TV when he heard Spongebob. "Oh leave it, leave it. I want to watch this. The old episodes are the good ones." He said grinning when he saw it.

Her eyes wandered to the TV, and she smiled when she saw it was Spongebob. That was of her favorite shows as a kid. "It's not just any old bird," Diana replied as if it were obvious, glancing over at Derek, "it's a dove. The symbol of peace."

Derek raised an eyebrow looking at her from Spongebob on TV. "What? You want to have peace or something? I'm confused on why you want the doves or something. What does it mean?" Derek asked confused, sitting on the edge of the bed and took off his shirt. "I have tattoos, one on the back of my shoulder, on my chest, and the other one on my lower back." He said showering her all of his tattoos, smiling up at her. "I think you should get one."

"Yes. With the world we live in right now, we need as much peace as we can get," Diana told him. She narrowed her eyes as he easily stripped off his shirt. "Oh, I didn't realize you were a stripper," she teased. Then she added, "Care to explain why you got the tattoos you did? Did you get them when you accidentally took acid?" She laughed. "And don't expect me to ever get a tattoo. As I already told you, I don't want one. They're not my thing."

Ahhh okay so school started I've been super busy I honestly forgot!! I'm so sorry:(

Derek laughed when she said she wasn't going to get a tattoo putting his shirt back. "I didn't think I'd get a tattoo either but things have been different for me lately and it's kind of crazy. So tell me then, what do you want to do that no one knows about?"
