Backstory:

Lucy’s mom, Julie Miller, got pregnant as a teenager and was cast out of her house. Lucy’s dad bailed when he found out Julie was pregnant. She moved in with an abusive asshole, Michael Brown, and Lucy grew up with the two of them for the first several years of her life. Her mom fell in love with another women, Cheryl Johnson, and the two of them moved to Greenville with Lucy where they keep their relationship a secret. Lucy was eight at the time and attended public school. Cheryl and Julie were able to find work and are able to support Lucy. Lucy and Julie healed from the abuse they faced together, through Lucy remains untrusting of men in general. She learned to be unapologetically loud and proud of her opinions from Cheryl, who taught her about feminism. The two of them have attended protests together on more than one occasion. The family values being updated on current events.

Lucy began to develop her powers a year ago. The first time it happened, she touched a sink faucet in the bathroom that another girl had used after a bad break-up. As it began to happen more commonly, she learned to keep the visions to herself. She was falsely diagnosed with panic attacks because the state she goes into while having a clairvoyant experience is similar to that of a panic attack.

She’s fairly unpopular now but has never let that bother her. She spends as much time as possible writing, reading, and painting.
