-Also, that "look" is Voldon's subtle way of telling Cheriss that he thinks things are going to get ugly and is sort of asking for her to come to Voss, but also giving her the option to go somewhere else. She'll be the next presiding Elder anyhow, so she should have the leeway to make her choice on where she needs to go.

Wasn't sure what your train of thought as to the Faceless' purpose for choosing Voss exactly but I had a little mini thought which I kind of outlined in-post:
If the Mystics get these super-accurate visions that are supposedly always accurate, would Manus not perhaps want that kind of power under his control to predict Voldon/the Qyaari's movements? The "attack" on the Voss could serve the purpose of him taking some Mystics as hostage in order to force them to comply with his directives and have a secondary purpose to draw Voldon out....culminatung in their final confrontation at some point in the future where Voldon is killed?

What do you think? XD

Hey, didn't you mention doing something Rakata later on? I think that it might be interesting to leave some tidbits for Act...IV(wow) while they're on Voss. Maybe some of the Mystics who are recovered by the Qyaari mention that Manus is the "sign of darkness that issues the return of the old ones" (or something mysticky like that) that hints at the potential insurgence of the Rakata.

Anyway, yay for this! I'm finishing up grading essays, so I'll have something for you tomorrow? :)
