“Ugh”... Fade awoke to the ring of his phone. “Fuck”, he groaned as the he picked up the phone. Fade had over slept again. He was never gonna find that bastard he was given the file on. The youth listen as he held the phone and here the person go on about him being lazy and how she was not happy. Closing the cell he thought how am I really meant to find an assassin that is of the top one percent at what he does and everyone dies when they get near. Why would he really want to find this nut case.

However he had to bring the man to justice to get paid. Laughable enough his employers want him basically toed hunt and down an imprison a man that has been killing for years while government watch. The black haired man rolled from his bed grabbed the nearest shirt and pants. Not even bothering with what he grab as he put on socks and shoes he head for the door. The only piece of importance was the ipod and head phones. Nothing like hearing all the vibrations in the world when you want to or not. Fade turned on the tunes and hit the street. He bobbed his head listening bottle and cans by rehab. Nothing like living in up town Manhattan, NY. A massive metropolitan area with tall building, food trucks and every other person looking to scam a buck. Fade eyed the the street around him watching the people walk about in hurry for god knows what. In place packed with rich people and being overly populated. Finding an asshole here is impossible.

"Ayuh, an' how yah like that, friendo? Yah gonnah tawlk yet!?"

"-Screaming pug noises in response-"

Across the street a man in a black suit was shaking a pug like a liter of soda, just like that scene in MIB that pissed off animal rights activists. It seemed he was interrogating the dog, whilst the owner, a man running a magazine stand, sobbed helplessly.

Arais froze not because he knew a voice from the past or a seen a person from such as well. All it took was hearing
"Ayuh, an' how yah like that, friendo? Yah gonnah tawlk yet!?" and heard a dog whiming quite loud The male turned his head to the direction and couldn't believe it. He yanked a picture from his pocket to compare.
"Mutha Fucker", he spoke. Arais had been looking for the guy for weeks with no luck and then out of no where the damn guy just shows up treating a dog like a shake weight.

Arais yelled aloud "YOU!!!", with a face full of angry. Yes, of course this was not how most would do something to get the attention of a highly trained killed, but eh. Arais stomped his feet making two pillars of earth jump from the ground, each climbing twenty foot or so. One behind the other male in the center of the street and one directly under Arais. Aside from the those two there were four, two per each side of the street where they would protrude from the building near him, each of the four only going out twelve foot.

Arais would raise unto the air looking down at the man. The several people in sight ran for the their lives as they could not believe the chaos that erupted from seemingly nowhere. Arais would claim his bounty on the assassin of mystery. Arais looked around the area scanning the streets, nearby building windows and yanked his ear puds out as he stuffed them in his right pocket. He decided to open his mental connection to the earth. He wouldn't start this fight going only half hearted. He would use this sensory trick as much as he needs if it will help.

The idea was to terrorize the shopkeeper's dog to make the man talk, not the animal. Donny had been sent to collect the shopkeeper's monthly protection money, and having seen a rerun of MIB the other night, had been feeling very inspired. Then the shit hit the fan as some kind of super freak went and flipped out across the street.

Donny had no superpowers, no assurance of power from beyond. Though he didn't act like it, with his blatant theatrics and mischievous streak, he came from a walk of life far and away from Arais's treading grounds. In the underworld you step lightly, you carry cold heat, and you never show your hand.

Though Donny's bald brows lifted in surprise, he didn't flee nor panic, didn't blink. He slid his left foot towards Arais and pivoted around to take up a slouching side stance, left flank facing his opponent with the pug tucked under his left arm as Arias rose on his earthen pillar. The hitman duly noted (with disguised wariness) the emergence of the pillar behind himself out of the corner of his eye, and the implications of facing someone that could control the ground itself.

Unseen due to his positioning, Donny's right hand snaked into his overcoat pocket, like an oiled cobra. Predators in the movies always announce their attack with a roar. In nature, they don't. In the underworld, they don't. The roar came after the bullet, the sound barrier late to the show as in a single fluid motion, Donny slung his revolver out of its holster by reaching through the hole in his coat pocket.
With his flank blocking Arais's view, obscuring the crook of his right elbow as he drew the gun, and his coat flaps preventing Arais from seeing the gun slide up alongside Donny's stomach, the full motion was completed in the time it took Arias to initially look away in his brief glance for civilians. It was as untelegraphed as a gun draw could be, and any person watching Donny from the front would see nothing more than what could be attributed to a slight and wholly natural shifting of weight, the kind of bodily adjustment anyone could be expected to make hundreds of times each day. Arias had taken his eyes off of his opponent anyways, and Donny, being the opportunist he was, seized at the moment.

Were he unable to guard himself in some fashion or another, the bullet would take Arias in the neck and all but splatter his cervical vertebrae across the building behind him before he could take off his ear buds. As for Donny, he'd be left with a smoking hole in his left coat flap and a singe mark on his bullet proof vest from the escaping, red hot cylinder emissions. The pug would be flailing its pudgy paws, eyes bulging, frantically squealing.

Life is all about the little things. Arais mused as he scanned the area for a few brief seconds. He enjoyed moments like this. "Acting", playing his part of which he choosing for misdirection. As an earth user he had to learn regardless of having skill to throw boulders many times it was easier to create openings for others to use. Laughably enough such a task is not really easy. The game is a con, the ability to plant the idea of action for another. Arais likes to create these opening for another to act. Arais cracked a grin as he looked out checking the people and looking at the windows around him. Reflections were a truly wicked thing. Had just caught the correct angle of sight through reflections to keep an eye on his opponent. He could see his opponent reaching under his jacket, and although this would normally not matter. The stance of his foe was to perfect by keeping his flank toward Arais without turning to engage the male after being yelled to. Arais pushed off the pillar behind cover kicking the earth. Using that to manipulate the pillar and break the top five feet of the stone off into pieces. Giving Arais a great coverage as he seen the gun from a nearby window.

He was landing the youth went from a grin to a full blown smile. He used both hand and pulled them together like a claw. His top hand manipulating the bricks of the building over his foe. The second summoning spikes, but just a a few beat afters. Just long enough for the several rocks to be heard breaking off the building over head. EAch rock varying in size from a basketball to mere pepples. Using this to hopefully hit with his actual attack. The spikes of earth would jump forward from the ground starting from his opponents flank and come around both sides, six in total and all spikes totaling at six foot even. Arais picturing this all in his mind perfectly before using the manifestations. During this time keeping a nice view of the actions behind the stone structure of rock.

New York magazine stands didn't have windows, and they typically protruded out onto the sidewalk, obscuring any who might be standing in front of it from the windows on the building behind it. That being said, an eye for detail can find a way. A soda cooler at the side of the stand might allow Arais just enough of a look to see that Donny was pulling something, though it'd be lit from within, making it tough to find a reflection.

The bullet would thwack into one of the stony chunks in front of Fade's head, probably splitting it apart. The ballistic splinters of rock and dust might get in his eyes. A Casull could, after all, break a bowling ball in two. Immediately after firing Donny dropped the dog and pitched diagonally to his left, into forwards tumble to evade an attack he figured would immediately emerge from the pillar behind him and the pillars on either side, guessing that they might fall on him. That left diagonal movement as his safest option. It had been a predictive dodge, unrelated to the ground spikes, but an effective one nonetheless. You had to keep moving in a fight, that was one of the most basic rules for survival. The spikes sheared through the bottom of Donny's overcoat as he leapt, tearing it off him and causing him to land hard on his left shoulder, skidding on the sidewalk for two feet before he rolled to his feet. Blood ran down his bicep, skin torn from road rash. No time to contemplate near death, he had to act.

Coat gone, even a child could see that Donny bristled with weapons. Not Fade though, as Donny fired off another bullet at his opponent's head coming up from the roll to force him to keep a rock in place there, and to create a burst of blinding debris that could mess with Fade's eyes. Donny's left hand flashed out not a split second later, yanking something off his belt with a barely heard clicking noise and pegging it. The object swung through the air as if on an invisible pendulum, actually flying behind Fade's position whilst he was presumably occupied with debris, the item arching around his body. It seemed to be a weight at the end of a nearby invisible wire which would string Fade to his floating rocks, cutting a few millimeters into his skin if it slung around him. Donny half turned to bolt, but his left foot tripped over his right and he fell hard on his left flank, the razor wire not nearly taut enough yet to cause significant damage to Fade. It seemed Donny had let too much reel out.

"Aw #$%&! Stawp! Truce!"

Donny dropped his gun to the ground, leaving both hands empty.

"Uncle!"
