I love being active. I used to work out daily, but it got less and less with the kids around. I still try to work out every now and then or at least go for a run two or three days per week though. Dancing keeps me active as well. And those rascals have a way of chasing me around a lot.

I would hope we'd be doing something that we both enjoy. I have found that I find active first dates more appealing than sit-down-dates. So swimming, hiking, going out dancing, playing a little bit 1x1 basketball, table tennis while listening to extremely silly or bad songs to throw us off and make fun of. I am always up for going just a little crazy and creative. Jumphouse would be so silly funny. Going indoor climbing. Or even dressing each other up in ridiculous clothes and walking through town, pretending we're tourists. Or doing a 'fast food restaurant' testing, in which we would each order two pieces and then move to the next spot until we're too full. I like silly little things that aren't planned out, like drawing and explaining each other's houses and cars without ever knowing what they may look like. It's a funny little game, will make us laugh, break the ice and offers for a lot of character insight. Going karaoke singing spontaneously is definitely a way to break all the ice. I wouldn't mind going camping for a night, just the two of us.

So that's a couple of random ideas. I don't have a specific 'perfect date', because the company makes it perfect and not a date that is neatly planned out. I like having room to be spontaneous.


I consider myself a little silly, I like goofing around and don't mind making a fool out of myself occasionally. Sport loving is definitely a personalty trait of mine. Weither or not I am good at the sport doesn't matter much, I just like moving my muscles. I'd like to think I am kind and understanding, at least most of the time. I am spontaneous rather than planned out. Most of my life doesn't have a plan. I don't have much discipline when it comes to household things. I can't stand cleaning, I can't cook, I often am in a hurry in the mornings and have to run through grocery stores to be on time. On the counterpart I am rather disciplined when dancing. I can go from serious to silly in a heartbeat if it isn't inappropriate in the situation. I try to talk things out instead of running away, I believe that communication is the key to a healthy relationship - romantic, friendly, motherly, or whatever.

Favorite things?:
As crazy as it may sound, I love to work. I currently have the job that I've always dreamed of having. When I'm not working, however, I do love spending time with my kids. We often visit museums, amusement parks, and anywhere else they decide they may want to go. I love cooking, even though I don't get to do it as often as I'd like. I like trying out new recipes, but my favorite type of food to cook will always be Jamaican cuisine. Although not a big fan of sweets, I do have a soft spot for mint ice cream and peach cobbler. I also like to jog every morning before work; gotta burn off that cobbler somehow! At the end of the day, I like to wind down by sitting in bed with a glass of red wine and a good sci-fi film or football game. You'll also often find me listening to smooth R&B jams and old-school Hip-Hop music.

Least favorite things?:
I am not a big fan of sweets, as stated before, but I absolutely despise any chocolate or coconut candy bar. Although I try to stay in shape and exercise, I do not enjoy a lot of physical outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and swimming. I am not a fan of most music that is played on the radio, especially country music. I'm also not very big on social media, even though I'm a member of every social media platform you can think of. Being the foodie that I am, I also dislike any food that isn't cooked... well, right. If I have to cover my plate with a napkin or fold it up before throwing it in the trash, then I'm definitely not coming back to your house for dinner.

Describe your perfect date:
I've always believed that the perfect first date would be to go exploring and be tourists for a day. We'd hit up museums and famous landmarks in the city, snapping photos of the artifacts and ourselves. We'd stop at the street vendors and try new foods, or maybe just stop at an Italian restaurant for a pizza; I can imagine sitting outside under one of those umbrella's, people watching as we eat. This date is a great way to make lasting memories with my significant other all while learning and seeing something new.
