Powers - Has the ability to remove (physical) pain through touch, and has a vast knowledge of the human anatomy and medical procedures. (An immensely skilled doctor, basically)
Weaknesses - Can become weak with excessive use of his ability to take away pain, because of the way his brain developed knowledge, when Damien sleeps, his brain completely deactivates until a total of twelve hours are up, he cannot be waken up before then. He is not particularly strong, so he often needs other's help to move obstacles and such when trying to help people in combat.
Personality - Generally introverted, intelligent, can be somewhat bossy when it comes to his work.
Appearance - Damien has a sturdy build, but is actually rather small in size, his height being about 5'9". Because his abilities are often used in combat situations, Damien prefers the simplicity of a button-up shirt and jeans.
BRIEF Bio - Damien was born to a poor family located in the slums of the city, where the criminals and homeless were often forced to live. His parents were both severely addicted to heroin, and worked every day from dawn to dusk trying to scrounge together the money to feed both him, and their desire for their drugs. His ability to take away pain became prominent when he reached the age of thirteen, and he slowly started to develop knowledge of the human body. With this new revelation, Damien was determined to free his parents of their fatal addictions.
He tried first on his mother, as his father had a disposition to violence. He approached her slowly from behind, she was sitting on an old wooden chair, strung out from her last use, and lightly touched her on the shoulder. She froze up for a moment, then relaxed in the chair, and slowly turned her head to look behind her. She stared, awe-struck, looking at her son.
"How are you doing that?" She whispered, her voice raspy.
"I don't know." Damien replied hesitantly, "How does it feel?"
"Wonderful." She gave him a small smile, turned back around, and after a few long minutes, fell asleep.
As Damien reached the age of sixteen, his ability and knowledge had increased to it's maturity, and he was among the top doctors in the city. He performed surgery on many important people living within the city, including the mayor himself, and was well respected in the medical community, despite being so young. Unfortunately, his success was not appreciated by some, who had worked eight years of their life to try and become as successful as he was. Angry that a teenager had beat them out, they hired a hitman to kill Damien's parents, to try and send him a message. It worked. Damien fled, and went to live in the slums of the city once again, helping the poor without expectation of pay. Feeling like he had found his purpose, he stashed away his wealth for use at a date when he may need it.
