@Pathfinder Yeah I think I heard of that fan game before. Do you want to work on Tiamat to fit in with the World of Darkness Christian Mythology of Demons and Vampires?

Perhaps Tiamat is an Old God like in the Cthulu mythos who has become irrelevant and was replaced by God, the Father in Heaven.

It's going to be weird playing pirates without guns, but I can make it work. Just replace cannons with balistas and a lot of boarding.

This looks very interesting, I haven't done much for a while so I may be a little rusty. So this is taking place on Earth then? And in this retrospect do they know about these supernatural creatures? I'm going to keep an eye on this RP and see what everyone else will bring to the table but I have a wide variety of different nations, factions, empires and alliances to bring forth. But like I said, I wanna see what everyone brings to the table before posting anything or anyone. If that is quite alright? And I can always bring something that is needed to balance out parts and pieces of the roleplay, just let me know.

So I decided to add a list of deities. God, Gaia, Angels and perhaps the Greek Pantheon will be added.

Well here's the deal, the origin story is just that... a story. The real background of the Leviathan's has been lost to time, in fact most Leviathan's don't even know who they actually are at this point of history since they are so rare and spread out. Only truly ancient beings would have any recollection of the Leviathan's as they were and I don't plan on going into it until we hit modern times.

As far as my character is concerned, he's a freak of nature without a real place in the world besides being the monster his instincts push him to be.

@Pathfinder Boarding ship fights is the best part of being a pirate.

@LiegeLord Most people know that Supernatural beings exist, some are ignorant living in mudhole villages, some have only seen monsters like Goblins living in caves and some have an extensive knowledge of the Supernatural to actively hunt and destroy them such as the Society of Leopold within the Roman Catholic Church.

Anything you can do to add to the RP will be appreciated. It'd help if it was done sooner rather than later though.

Alright I will quickly think of something to use, though active hunting does give me an idea. Is the Underground taken? Cause I do have a few species and was thinking of that make the underground of the world their homes. But I wasn't going to settle on just the one species, taking into account that there are others hunting them and even magic beings I was going to have a single, not a large group of the species but a single one. This creature's species had incredibly tough hide that could take enormous amounts of physical abuse before it can do anything to them. But given you have magic, their species have been hunted down due to this with their little to no protection from magic powers. If I am wrong please correct me, just ideas I had. So I would have a large species and the last of his kin one.

@LiegeLord As long as they aren't too spread out beneath the underground that other species can't use it, it's all good. Also a reason for them to be hunted down would be good.

This is just a question on my part, but do I need to find a picture? I prefer to just write about their looks than slapping on a picture, mainly because I'm uncomfortable using real people as representatives of my character and finding a drawing to match my exact mental image for them is near on impossible, especially for the niche time in piracy that we find ourselves in.

@Pathfinder A picture would really help others to visualize your character. I would ask that you at least look around a bit to find a person that looks like your character. They don't need to look like they're from the middle ages, just don't have them wearing sunglasses or anything. If you can't find anything then we can find a compromise. Perhaps you can put in a description and a picture or I can find you a picture based on a description.

Thank you Path for bringing up the picture part, I was going to ask something about that as well. I can most likely find a picture for the species of the underground but most likely not for the last kin one. Sledge, his name in my Lore that I can easily change for this RP and bring up the nickname later on in a more modern time, is a stranger creature then most people. So if I can have help looking for a picture close to a rough idea of what he looks like would help big time. I'll look still.

General and compact look: Reptilian dragon like creature, stands as Bipedal on two legs, Main wings on his back that have the capability of a rotational joint in both the base and the mid wing section allowing full movement of said back wings, he also possesses a pair of smaller, arm like wings towards the back but downwards closer to his sides that can act as an extra, smaller pair of arms or smaller wings when needed. The creature stands at an intimidating fifteen feet tall with a powerful setup of a body with a tail that ends with a pair of twin endings, like a split a good few feet before the tail should end. May be incredibly easy to find one, but I just look for the four wing one, I'm picky.

The actual description is far better but this is the general look of what his kin looked like back then, his species were strong and caused terror for many that provoked them. None able to stand against them. But once magic came into play, his kin stood no chance at all.

@LiegeLord I am actually somewhat of an artist, and I may be able to draw it. I'm not sure if my printer can scan pictures but we'll see. I can draw faces and mythical creatures. If not I can help find a picture.

Jokes aside, I'll try looking for one. Haven't used him much so why bother with a picture when you had a couple paragraphs of a description for his kin alone? At least his Character Sheet isn't 4 pages long like another couple of my characters, I take pride in trying to make good ones after all.

I see, well maybe. I'll ask if I can't find anything though. But I should be less picky with what I want him to look like, time will tell. I'll look and see what I can find, I'll post the information either tomorrow or next weekend. I say that cause it's a lot, I can post after when the RP actually starts but given my position with the PD I need to post that kind of information on a day I have time to do so with.
