@Sirkaithethird"I don't really trust him," replied Kale, but I think it may be possible to convince him that being a hunter fulfills his programming. Or maybe he can ignore it. Becoming self aware usually requires a droid to break their programming, after all. If not, Ill take him with me to Mar Shadaa."

He looked over the cargo list. "Construction supplies and a fusion generator. Good. I'll try to get a few construction droids while I'm on Nar Shaddaa so we can get all of the buildings up before winter."

Roughly an hour later he stood up Kale noticed that the salvager were all here, so he stood up and tapped on his glass to get everyone's attention. "Welcome, salvager." he said. "About three hours ago a ship crashed about 12 kilometers northwest of the city. This gentleman @slayerofkings," he motioned with his hand, "was the the only survivor. He is a self aware droid, but I forgot to ask his name, so I'll let him tell us when he introduces himself. He'll escort us out there and back, but you should probably carry a weapon anyway. Captain White just brought me a load of random weapons, and I've got personal melee shields if you have the credits."

"I've purchased the wreckage from him, so junkyard salvage rules apply. I get half of what you salvage, you choose which half, and if someone else has to haul your salvage back, work out a price with them."

He looked at the droid whose name he had forgotten to ask. "So, can you tell us about yourself, and the ship? What class and size is it? Any cargo we should keep an eye out for?"

BLADE surveys the group. Inferior humanoid specimens. Their supplies are worth more than them. BLADE briefly considers slaughtering them for their supplies before discarding the idea. The short-term gain would be outweighed by the long-term cost. Its voice unit releases a brief burst of white noise before its voice is heard.
"This unit is designated Battle L-Class Assault Droid Elite. (White noise) This unit...I...I am programmed for physically terminating life-forms, self-repair, and self-improvement. Built by-...(switching to recorded advertiser's voice)-by The Wercol Advanced Warfare Corporation, Creating combat solutions!-...(back to BLADE's voice unit) My (switch to crackling sound) owners (back to BLADE's voice unit) have been (slurred) terminated (normal). I was not programmed for this................situation. Additional data required. Upgrades required. Credits required. Life-termination offered in exchange for credits and/or upgrades. (Suddenly louder and more 'upbeat') I AM COMBAT READY!"
There's a sparking sound and then BLADE seems to see the gathered people again. "The ship is a Corellian Light Freighter, modified for use as a laboratory. Most valuable contents labeled 'Fragile.' Unlikely to be recovered. Datafiles destroyed. Contents most likely to be recovered intact: Engines, weapons, food supplies. Lifeforms known to be on board: 3, 2 male Humans, 1 male Bith. Life Status: Terminated. Condition of bodies: dental records required to identify the Humans, data inconclusive for Bith."

@TheUnknowable "I'll lend you my Skiff but if you don't mind I would like to go for a walk" White said to Kale, handing over the keys.
White then excused him self and left for a walk.

@Sirkaithethird"Thanks." he said, taking the keys and handing them to his wife. He would have to drive the new truck he bought, as it was a bit finicky at high speeds.

With that he walked over to BLADE. "So, uh, Battle L." he said, unsure what to call it. "I would like you to ride with Jenna." he pointed to his wife. "The main threat is probably the Kath hounds, though there are caves around there with Kinrath living in them, and the smoke might have irritated the Iriaz in the area. Everyone should be armed, but I'm only sure about the combat skills of myself and my wife, so if you come under attack call for us so we can back you up. We can't risk the others getting hit. Once we get back I'll give you the other 250 credits and may have to put a bounty on the local predators."

Det Ryp, the Zabrak in charge of the Cantina heard them talking and came over. "If you so happen to kill a Iriaz, I'd pay 200 creds for the body. Good meat." he said. "Though hauling it in a truck would be the only way to get it back here, as big as it is. Don't put anyone at risk to do it, though."

With that all of the salvagers headed outside and got in their vehicles. When everyone was ready the left town, arriving at the wreckage about an hour later.

BLADE runs through its database. It lacks any information on Kath hounds, kinrath, and iriaz. It weighs the pros and cons of pursuing an unknown species for further information and lacking that information. It decides to instead gather any relevant data from the holonet.

Harma wasn't really interested in what the recruiter was saying. She was to busy checking out her new toy. The droid started beeping. "Sith?" She looked up at him. "What the fuck was that about Sith? I am so not getting into bed with those goddessless bastards." She gripped her lightsabers tighter.

----------

Harma had Tee pilot the ship to the salvage site. "Tee keep an optic out for Kath, Kinrath, possibly the Iriaz, and anything else, basically if isn't a sapient creature kill it. If you see one shoot. No warning shots. I want those things dead." She changed into the Mandalorian armor she stole when she escaped from her captors. She had it repainted to suit her style. She hooked her lightsabers to her belt. She exited the ship.

@Burning Kitty"My wife USED to be a Sith." Kale said, "Mostly because she thought they were better equipped to defend the people of the galaxy. She was sent to Corellia to prepare it for invasion, and I infiltrated her organization. She never really accomplished her goal, though, the Sith suffered a major defeat and she had to go into hiding."

"She never really followed their doctrine of hatred, though, and is pretty much gray in her view and use of the Force."

White had wandered his way back to the Altar,
Once there he sent a message to kale,
Message as follows... Kale, I need fuel going to the nearest "outpost"... Need anything? I'll contact base upon return to orbit.
He started up the Engines and departed the planet

Once out of the atmosphere he punched in the coordinates of the nearest back market and took off. He then stood up went to his cabin took a shower and put on a new set of clothes. He sat down in the pilots seat, put his feet up, and as the Altar was starting its acceleration, opened a book and read. It was that silence, the emptiness of the vast areas around him that he enjoyed. Maybe that was why he had move to Cyphan, an empty planet. With very few people to interact with. White sighed and continued reading. At some point he dosed off, into a dreamless sleep, as dark as the space around him. Sensing that the sole inhabitant of the ship was asleep the Altar dimmed the lights, slowed, and continued to the coordinates.

"Your wife thought the Sith defended the people?" Harma breaks out in laughter. "I haven't had much experience with Sith, my time with the Order dealt mostly with Mando & slaver scum. What little experience I had with Sith showed absolutely no inclination for defending anything unless you count doing whatever it takes to maintain whatever power they hold. As for people, they are nothing more than pawns, chattel, and cannon fodder to the Sith. Your wife is either the most convincing conartist or the least Sith Sith to ever exist. Either way I'm going to make you one promise if I see any sign of Sith activity no matter how small I am going to look at the two of you as the source." She sent Tee off to familiarize itself with the ship.
