Hi! :D
So I'm looking to start a story with a competent, creative, and friendly female partner. Before I dive into any ideas, though, here's what I look for in a potential partner.
- A basic understanding of the English language. Pretty self explanatory, but you'd be surprised how many posts I get that look like my mother sent them to me via text message. Everyone makes mistakes, but give your posts a once - over, yeah?
- A friendly attitude and an open mind! I like to make friends with people I write with, so be friendly! Don't be afraid to talk to me, or give me ideas, or to change or critique mine. That's why I like to write with partners. It's boring if I have all the input -_-
- A High Casual to Advanced mindset, coupled with a heap of understanding :P That means that our stories will be long, complex, intricate. They'll contain a broad range of emotions and themes (which means 18+ please, just so I'm not worried about mature themes and gore and whatnot), and that comes with something more substantial than a one paragraph virtual poop that you cooked up in ten or fifteen minutes. Take your time! Take all day, or longer if you need it! A good way to tell if I'm enjoying our story is how much I'm posting. The more I post, it means I'm loving it waaaay more. So the more you give, the more you get, outside certain bits of dialogue and interactions where long, detailed posts sound silly or unnecessary. This is also a two - way street - I take my time on occasion, and can't always post once a day. Hang in there - I'm not leaving you :P
Honestly, that's probably it. As for plot ideas or the actual romance, I'm open to nearly everything. If you have an idea, ask me if I'd like to try it. I've got ideas as well, if you'd like to hear them, but tell me what you like, and I'll work with you! The genres that I'm most comfortable in are fantasy, some sci-fi, maybe supernatural or horror, a small dabbling in historical and futuristic. But again, open to pretty much anything, and oftentimes I find the best stories span a few genres in some way.
Romance is a big deal for me. I hate shallow females (and males - no bias here) who follow stereotypes. I like saving love interests as much as the next hero, but I'm not a god, and neither are my characters. I will need saving myself on occasion. I don't expect to fall in love with you at first sight. This is why I write with girls during Romance RP's - because they are real, and if they're good writers, then I'll see it in their characters. So write real, make your characters deep and complex, so I don't feel like I'm talking to a Princess Peach cardboard cutout.
But yeah! Nice to meet you all! If you're interested, or have any questions, PM me with you're favorite kind of cookie :3
