Right, everyone has been added to the character index at the top of the Characters Tab.
I have edited the Wider History section, could probably put more in, but I'll leave it at that for now.
Now it comes time for us to decide on which faction The Band will be starting with, we have three choices:
1. Godfrey of Innsmouth, of the House of Powell. The lord of Innsmouth and second cousin to the King through his grandfather's youngest sister. He has the most legitimacy of any of the claimants, holding the capital and already crowned by the Arch Deacon of Kingsbury. However, with his realm split and many lords not wanting to be drawn into the succession conflict he does not have command of Westar's full host. He is a man in the prime of his life, politically able and a gifted administrator - serving as prominent councillor to Adalmar II. While not known for his martial prowess he has commanded hosts to put down revolts and deal with outlaws and pirates. He commands 12,000 men.
2. The Prince of Taratio, Antonio di Badoni. The Prince claims the Throne through his descent through the elder sister of Adalmar II's grandfather, however, there is one additional intervening generation thus making him the King's second cousin once removed. The young prince is considered a prodigy, gifted at anything he turns his hand at. His court is known as centre for learning and the arts. He has led inspiring victories against other Litan principalities, but some whisper this was more luck than strategic genius. He commands a host of 10,000 - which when combined with his Bordian allies rises to 16,000. The Bordians also possess one the most powerful naval forces of the combatants.
3. Lord Howard of House Northall is the Duke of Northall and is now the senior member of House Northall with the extinguishing of the main line. His cadet branch split off almost 200 years ago, when the Northalls ascended the throne of Westar, but by agnatic descent he is King by right. The old Duke is a hard and proud man, serving as the King's governor of the North of Westar for many years. He and his sons are popular amongst the northern aristocracy, but less so amongst the rest of the nobility. He is the candidate with the most military experience, having commanded numerous armies during the wars of Adalmar's predecessor. But with only 8,000 troops, he is militarily the weakest candidate - which means that he is willing pay extra for hired swords...
