Welcome to what you've all been waiting for! I'll keep details minimal; you can read all about what we're trying to do
Our story begins in a small town in the Pacific Northwest called Adelwood, where, as is common for tales weaved in this setting, something dark is brewing in the shadows. It is here that two factions, those DuskDrawn and those MoonLead, are beginning a quiet fight- not one of blood, but one of espionage, sabotage, and camouflage. Comprised of those constrained to only show their form when shrouded by darkness, these factions must avoid each other, and the sight of any unwary humans who might happen upon them. But, this is the 1990s. Computer technology is on the rise, the world is changing, and grunge is in! Will these gangs find peace, or are they doomed to be the opposite of tubular, whatever that may be?
That out of the way, let's talk characters! All PC should be between 18 and 25, and have mythological connections! This isn't strictly vampires and werewolves. For instance, you can have a character that may be an angel, or a demon, or pretty much anything mythical! So long as you stick with the 90s theme, we would love to have them aboard. Further, the degree of your character's magical ability is up to you. Perhaps your werewolf turns into an actual wolf at every full moon, or maybe they can become half wolf when they want to, or maybe still they can become a classic horror werewolf when angered! Just run your ideas by me and I'd be more than happy to accommodate :) Character sheets are above!
Some characters are quiet, some are loud, and all have secrets.
DuskDrawn tend to be more acclimated to human society, and often assume human lives by day. They may even marry human, if they so choose. Most have human friends, and a select few might have chosen to reveal their secrets...
MoonLead are more "wild", so to speak; many live outside humanity and choose to stay that way. Only some objectively resent humanity; most are simply offput by humans, finding it hard to understand and be understood by them. Sometimes choose to indulge in human affairs from afar.
Both groups have varied populaces, not simply werewolves or vampires or what have you. I feel this is more fun, and leads to less cliches :^]
The story should flow and have a nice pace, but it is understood that we all have lives. Personally, I may respond on average around twice a day. The limit for response time with no explanation is three days- after that, I'll send you a message, and someone will take hold of your character until you return.
If I have missed anything, or you see a plot hole that needs fillin', let me know before we begin! This is our story, not just mine.
