The World, was not the same as it used to be. Black Forces...Forces of Lord Voldemort were gathering. The events of the 6th year for Hogwarts Students...would change their lives. And begin a war.....

The wounds of Sirius' death were still fresh. The images, still flashed through everyone's eyes. But more so Harry and Arianna's. Harry, had lost his God-Father. Arianna had lost her father, the one person she spent years wanting to know...and so little time with..before his death.

I killed Sirius Black! I killed Sirius Black! Bellatrix's voice still haunted her mind. Every single day. At night it was worse. The nightmares...The images of her father falling dead...replayed in her mind so strongly. It took every ounce of her being, not to kill Bellatrix Lestrange right there and then...even though she wanted to. She and Harry, both wanted to...and had tried. But if it wasn't for their strong will, and being stopped by their friends...it might have happened.

But Aria swore to herself. One day, she would get her revenge. One day, Bellatrix...would feel. How she and Harry felt, when she took Sirius away from them and those he had loved. Even if, the Black family were extended relatives to the Malfoys. Arianna could not think of Bellatrix, as family. The woman was a monster...she was not someone, Arianna would call 'Aunt' or look up to. But it did not change the fact...they were still related. As much as Arianna wanted to change her family. That was something, she could not change.

What mattered was, that she and her friends would stick together. Arianna had been close to Harry, Hermione and the Weasley's since they had met. Harry, being like a brother to her. She couldn't let him get hurt...she wouldn't.

As she stared out of the window. Arianna leaned her head back against the wall. She was at the Burrow, the last few days of the Summer Holidays, she was spending with Hermione and the Weasley's. But honestly, she couldn't wait to go back to school...get mind off of things. But she wasn't exactly thrilled of seeing her distant cousins Draco...or Minerva who'd be attending this year.

However,

For Harry. The Summer Holidays were about end bit differently. For he was about to get a visit from Dumbledore, that evening. He was sitting in a small cafe, reading the Newspaper. Death-Eaters had caused Chaos in London. After an attack, on a bridge. He sighed to himself. They really were going to more trouble, to get noticed in the Muggle World.

"Who's Harry Potter?" The young dark haired girl, from behind the counter asked. As she walked past Harry's table.

"Oh...no one. A bit of a tosser really." Harry replied.

"Funny! That paper of yours." The girl replied, with a smile. "I could have sworn,I saw a picture of you a month ago." Harry smiled to himself. Before he could ask her when she finished. "11, That's when I get off. You can tell me about that Tosser, Harry Potter."

It seemed, Harry had a date that night. But as he looked out of the window. He noticed Professor Dumbledore, standing on the Platform. It seemed, like he had arrived. He hadn't been there a few moments ago.

Albus Dumbledore had to keep a more closer eye on Harry, since his battle with the Dark Lord in the Ministry of Magic's foundation in Great Britain. Such rumors started out as lies, but became true about the evil entity everyone had came to fear; the birth of the term "You-Know-Who", leaving everyone in a panic and disarray.

Dark forces were flying and recruiting; and, if it suited them, murdering. Speaking of recruiting, Horace Slughorn was not able to hide forever; as he discovered one evening that Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter would call into the Muggle village of Budleigh Babberton. In his attempt to escape Dumbledore, Slughorn had to come up with the idea that he would fake a struggle, wreck the house, and splash his last bottle of expensive dragon blood on the walls and ceiling, before disguising himself as an armchair.

He hoped Albus would be fooled into thinking the Death Eaters had kidnapped or killed him; in his haste, however, he forgot to cast the Dark Mark over the building. Dumbledore saw through this guise and forced Horace to reveal himself. Dumbledore feigned going to the bathroom, leaving Harry alone with Slughorn.

After talking to Harry, the former professor realized about everything he would be able to gain when returning to Hogwarts, like a more comfortable life, and not having to be on the run anymore, plus the opportunity to recruit the "Chosen One" into his Slug Club. He agreed to return to the school on the condition that he received a pay raise, and was given Professor Merrythought's old office, instead of the "water closet" he had last time.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile,
The news wasn't completely grand to the ears of the Malfoy family. Not mention, not exactly "thrilling". In Minerva's point-of-view anyway. She heard that her father was already imprisoned in Azkaban, and that Aunt Bellatrix managed to escape, and reunite with her "one and happy family", as she would call it. The news came in, with one of those animated pictures; one of them with her father looking miserable and broken.
It's not like she disliked her father but she truly pitied him in his acts to serve the Dark Lord, of whom she and her twin brother were blessed to serve, once they came of age. The very thought left her conflicted for the next few days, not long after having to learn about the news of Lucius Malfoy. In a way, she felt betrayed by the way her Aunt just left him like that. This was the thought that made her become skeptical of Bellatrix's way of showing care and "love"; the one word that the woman clearly has the lack of expressing.
Her thoughts were cut off, once she felt the tug on her hand, made by Draco.
Harry had been quite surprised, by the meeting with Horace Slughorn. The man was intriguing, but kind. Harry knew, that if this wasn't Important. Dumbledore would have not asked him to come. That late evening, after the meeting. Dumbledore took Harry to the Burrow. Where he'd spend the remainder of The Summer Holidays with the Weasleys, Ari and Hermione.
The reunion between him and his close friends was a surprising one for everyone. But sweet. Everyone as usual was more than happy to see Harry. Arianna was relieved, when she saw that Harry was in one piece and okay. She and Hermione always worried the most. Especially with the Death-Eaters out and about. It was easy for them to get to Harry, especially after last year.
The remainder of the Summer, was quite nice. One afternoon Harry was in Hogsmead with Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Arianna. The four had just visited Fred and George's Magical shop of treat and tricks. It was quite a merry, amusing place. Ginny had been teased by the Twins, for dating Dean Thomas. After Ginny broke away from the group. Harry walked through the streets with his Best-Friends. As they walked past Olivander's. Hermione and Ari stopped on the spot. The shop looked empty...and a mess. Liked it had been raided by Death-Eaters no less.
"Oh no, everyone got their wands from Olivanders." Hermione breathed out, looking sad to see the once great wand shop so destroyed.
Arianna sighed, as she looked at the shop. She remembered Mr Olivander and his Kindness. She had visited him a few times, any time she was in Hogsmead. She being one of the few Students, whom liked to talk to him. "Death-Eaters no doubt." she said with a shake of her head.
Not so far away,
Narcissa Malfoy, had been nervous about the meeting her children would go into. But she knew the Dark Lord, wanted the twins. She was proud of them. She knew her Draco and beloved Minnie could do it. She couldn't loose her children. Not them. It was bad enough, that her Lucius was arrested and in the middle of a trial.
Draco was angry...seething. His father was arrested! The young Malfoy, was always bitter about it. Especially if anyone dared ask. But he had other things to think about. Like keeping his twin sister safe. When his mother said it was time. He tugged at Minerva's hand "It's time Minnie..We have to go." he told his sister. Draco squeezed her hand softly. As if he was reassuring her, things would be fine.
The trio began to make their way, towards Borgen and Burks.
Ever since their simultaneous birth, Minerva had been sticking to Draco by the hip, with the exception of his time in Hogwarts at a young age, while she went to a 'Pure-Blood' School for Girls up in London for most of her youth. However, even though she was an extremely talented student, her parents decided that the longer she was away, the more distant she might become from her true purpose: becoming a Death-Eater; so she had to drop out at thirteen, and be homeschooled by Narcissa, until this day.
After learning that she and Draco were to be chosen by the Dark Lord, Minerva had to admit that she slightly hesitated to agree. However, the safety of her family became involved, and at that point, there had to be a time where she had to choose: Stick to the plan, and let her family be spared, or hang them by a thread in the wrath of Lord Voldemort. She heard of the many things that the dark entity has inflicted, and the pain of receiving the Mark left her unsettled.
She wondered if recieving it made her become a burden to the world, or if signified her as someone to despise or fear. This didn't mean she didn't disrespect her family's choices; she just couldn't agree that there couldn't be any Muggles. They're people, not traitors; humans, basically. It's just pure terrorism that these Death-Eaters perform. The worst part, is what does it matter whether they live in a world that plays as home for all blood statuses, and erraticate them?
Holding her twin brother's hand, Minerva kept herself somewhat composed, as she proceeded the downtown of Hogsmead. These thoughts played as flashbacks, and they only became more clear the closer they reached their destination: Borgen and Burks. She didn't notice they were being followed, but the contact of Draco's hand kept her focused. Like the naturality of twins, he and Minerva were instinctively close, emotionally and, unknown to everybody else, quite physically; though in Draco's case, compulsively. Having to be extremely protective of his sister, it was no surprise to Minerva and, truthfully, she didn't refuse.
As far as their parents are concerned, they've only seen the pair hold hands, but when they turned sixteen, the rest was confidential. Suspicions were clear, but the twins were extremely careful in hiding it, as much as they are in hiding their Marks. In other words, Lucius and Narcissa knew nothing.
Draco was very protective...some might say even possessive over his twin sister. He was rather strict, and tense when it came to other people, being close to his Minnie. If they got too close, it got on his nerves. And Draco always made sure to put people in their place. As people were growing suspicious, Draco always seemed to deny that their closeness, was...disturbing to some and a little too 'close.' in people's eyes.
Of course, the extent of his relationship with Minerva. Seemed like a quite good idea inside of his head. It was his own stupidity, and protective nature that made it seem like that to him. He didn't seem to realize, just how 'wrong' anything about their relationship might be. But of course, it was a dirty little secret, between the twins so to speak.
Unlike his twin sister; Draco didn't seem to hold much respect and thought towards the lesser blood status in the Magical World, they lived in. Especially when it came to Muggle Borns. God, how he hated them. They were despicable. Not meant to be a part of their world. It made Draco rather proud and vain, that he was among one of the chosen one's for the Dark Lord. His mark, a new turn in his life. But deep down inside, Draco was somewhat of a coward. Despite putting on the best act in the world, his mother was of course proud of him and Minerva.
As he walked through the streets. He felt a little concerned. Like someone was following them.
As Arianna noticed Draco about to turn his head. She quickly ducked into an alley...hiding from sight. She had pulled Ron out of the way quickly...whilst Hermione and Harry hid on the other side. Once Draco had looked behind him...he saw no one. It must have been his thoughts and own imagination. He was cautious, if he was being followed. Especially during this situation.
Arianna held her breathe, and when Draco and Minerva walked into Borgen and Burks. She sighed in relief...she and her friends were not spotted. Luckily.
Minerva held Draco's hand the whole way as they followed their mother down the alley. The store where the meeting was being held was just around the corner, and before they turned said-corner, she noticed Draco turning back, as if he was making sure they weren't being followed. Either it was this, or to make sure that no one was advancing upon his twin. Maybe it was a bit of both.
"What is it?", Minerva asked him, as they continued to keep up with Narcissa. Just as they made it to door of their destination, she came to notice that other Death Eaters were present for the initiation. Minerva almost had the instinct to shrink into Draco's arms to protect her, but she kept herself on her feet, standing tall, almost in a way to look forward for the task given. However, internally, she didn't want to do it, but they didn't exactly have another choice on the matter; it is what it is.
As his twin sister noticed something was bothering him. Draco squeezed her hand softly. "Nothing, just keeping an eye out." he said, matter of factly. It's always what he had done. To try and protect his sister. He didn't need anyone following them, not when this was to be done in private.
As they entered the shop; Draco's jaw clenched seeing the Death-Eaters present. Standing tall, his hand was still in his sisters,keeping her by his side; in a very protective manner. Meanwhile, Arianna had climbed on the rooftop with her friends, to spy on what would be going on.
Minerva followed after Draco, as soon as they had entered the shop. The Death Eaters, who seemed to have surrounded them, were looking down on them, almost expectedly. Right before them, was a giant piece, which seemed to be a cupboard, and the only thing she could think about, was the plan itself. Like any good volunteer, she tried to listen to what they wanted them to do, once they entered the castle of Hogwarts for the new year. However, there was also another side-thought that bothered her: The outcome. It seemed cruel, but it was to protect her family from the wrath of Lord Voldemort —- even save their father from further-suffering and humiliation; it was the only path they had to take.
Despite having to be an inch or two shorter than her twin brother, Minerva kept her hand in his own, as well as have to slightly lean against Draco’s side (since he had her pressed against him). As per-usual, she didn’t refuse any of his attempts to keep her in his grasp of “protection”. They’ve been that way, since they’ve been both brought into the world. To their parents, they could only assume that such behavior was that of a sibling bond, and that it was their way of making up for lost time, but they didn’t know there was a dirty secret involved.
As soon as they had finished explaining the plan, Minerva felt her mother place a kiss on her forehead before doing the same to Draco, really to show her genuine motherly love for her children, as well as expectation.
