I can still remember the taste of his blood... the smell of his skin... the sound of his pulsating veins... but I couldn’t bring myself to harm him. I was born to the world as a half vampire and half mortal, my father having seduced my mother before turning her. I was taught from an early age that this world had one absolute rule; kill or be killed. As a vampire I needed blood to survive, and as time went on I saw that praying upon young children was the easiest prey to catch.
Young parents making babies, growing desperate for a night off, barely taking the time to do a proper background check. My first job was with him, his parents going out for a night of dancing. While playing with him, gaining his trust as I enjoyed the hunt, he ended up scraping his knee on the end table. He pleaded and cried for me to kiss it better, to which I reluctantly agreed. As I look back up at him I caught the look of trust in his eyes, sweet ignorance to what I was planning on doing. I couldn’t bring myself to do it, I couldn’t pray upon the weak and innocent.
I wasn’t about to leave him though so I tucked him in early, watched him fall asleep before fleeing out the window. I swore off blood for as long as I lived, of course to my fathers dismay and horror. I mean, who has ever heard of a kind hearted nerdy vampire who doesn’t drink blood? No one, it’s absolutely unheard of! Who knew though that I’d meet him ago after all this time?
So that is my preview in the perspective of my character, and there are many plots we could do.
Your character could grow up to be a killer, the two cross paths and end up becoming friends or lovers. Perhaps her father hires your character to teach her to kill even and they bond over that!
Or perhaps he ends up seeing her at his high school as a tutor for hire and they end up reconnecting to her fathers dismay.
Maybe my character gets hurt and your character nurses my character back to health, though that means she’ll need blood and that’s where the dark hilarity ensues.
We could do a multitude of things with this, and I’m up to any ideas you may have for this as well. So private message me if you’re interested!
