I am considering starting a Game of Thrones RP, but I don't want to put in the effort if no one is interested. The handful of ideas I have are as follows:

-Aegon arrives (Pre-7 kingdoms): This would be expanding upon the cannon of Aegon the Conquorer unifying (ha, destroying) Westeros.
-Age of Heros (some point between the start of the Ironthrone and Robert's Rebellion): This would be picking a place in history to expand upon the 7 kingdoms.
-The Trident: This would be changing up a bit of history and exploring the current cannon characters and how things could have happened if say Robert had lost. An alternate reality, per se.
-The Prince that was Promised: This would be taking what we know, guessing how it ends, and creating a story from there. There is a lot more room to be original in this plot.

Anyway, thoughts... if any of you are even interested....

I'm not a fan of any interest check that lists out several options to choose from, since it gives me the impression that none of them are well thought out or detailed. Moreover, it's my personal belief that the Casual subforums is a poor place for a ASOIAF fandom roleplay, so I'll obviously be passing on this. As for your last idea, there are two different roleplays in the Advanced section that take place after the books, and one is only getting ready to launch. You could take a look at those, if you're so interested. Anyway, good luck with this interest check.
