Nickname/Alias:: Tanooki, by his mother. Based off the name of his father; And the nickname's cuteness is known by all of his 'friends'.

Personality:: Itaki is a quiet and shady young man; Seeming to slip away and appear whenever he feels like it. While usually silent unless spoken to, Itaki can be quite the sarcastic ass; And never regrets a single second of it. He certainly has a mean streak; But it doesn't mean he's a bad person, he just doesn't like people liking him. Although he ends up submitting somewhat to those who are somewhat clingy, as even if he didn't like the idea, he's smart enough to see a losing battle.

Past the rude exterior, it's clear Itaki is a very tactical individual: He plans almost everything he does. And against other people, his intelligence allows him to see right through them; Playing them like the fools they are. While selfish, he isn't above helping someone in need; Applying his talents of convincing and bargaining wherever needed. He conned a bully into selling him some kid's possession for a cheap price so he didn't have to keep bothering the kid to meet his steep price; Only to give the item back to it's rightful owner.

Of course, his exterior isn't just that; He is quite angry, constantly, at how he is compared to the bastard that helped create him; Though no facts actually existed in school, rumors spread like wildfire when your mom says a few choice words in public. He's annoyed, often pushing people away in order to keep himself sane and safe; Not wanting anything to do with them or his father. Though he has no friends, he doesn't mind occasionally hanging out with someone. He's a loner, sure, but not completely anti-social.

When his outer shell is broken, he's a surprisingly polite young man with a decent attitude; With a somewhat wide view of how the world works. He isn't exactly a ladies' man, at least in his own eyes, and never thought too much about women, either. But maybe he'd just not found the right one yet? It'd be difficult to get to him; But once you did, you had someone darkly loyal to you; Who'd use all of his resources to make you happy, or make those who hurt you pay dearly for what they had done.

History:: Bastard child of a business man and a random woman on a fateful night, little Tanooki was born poor, and mostly stayed that way. Him and his mother barely managed to get by; But, with a bit of natural wit, Tanooki managed to swindle himself into a okay position in life where his mother didn't have to constantly fear for his survival; He could get what he needed sometimes, in exchange for what other people needed: whatever that may be.

Often selling his goods to other students; Itaki has found himself harassed by the school multiple times, but never ceased in his activities. Instead, he got more sneaky; Managing his sales while also managing his education, not planning by any means to be a failure. Despite the way he uses his skills as a businessman at times, it was still a great talent that thrived along with his high grades; The boy seeming ready to handle the business world, aside from his lack of cash. And that wouldn't be fixed anytime soon.

When anything about Tanaka comes up, Itaki is quick to deny it and brushes away any attempt of talking about it. The man left him and his mother to suffer; He wanted to be as far away from relations with that man as possible.

His continued pursuit of knowledge and business ethics has brought him all the way to Casper Academy in Seattle, from his lowly schooling and original city. While he wasn't comfortable leaving his mother, she assured him things would be fine, and that he should take the opportunity to pursue what he wants. What he wanted, was for the two of them to live stable, happy lives. Maybe that'd be easier for her with him gone.

But when they met again, Itaki wanted to be less of a nuisance. He wanted to be a better son.



Weapon/Fighting Style:: A shiv, or other small knives. If he could find a gun, he'd use it. He's not a very powerful physical fighter, but gutting someone with a knife doesn't take much.

Special Characteristics:: He has such good charisma that he can actually negotiate with intelligent demons; Managing to get them to either leave the party alone for a price, or getting them to give them something and leave, on a rare occasion. He is just generally good with words; He can sell anything the group finds easier than they can, and make a better profit, too.

Persona:: Ogma, of the Devil Arcana: His appearance is that of a heavily clothed 4 foot tall flying imp, carrying a tomb of some sort. It will learn Agi and Debuff skills, but also will gain access to Mudo to dispatch certain enemies quickly throughout the adventure.



Relatives::
Masuo Ginko - Mother - A woman that had, at one point, slept with Tanaka and got pregnant with Itaki. When Tanaka fled the scene, she raised Itaki by herself the best she could; Knowing she could never do good enough. Her age is 36.

- Though he keeps it on the down-low, he's constantly caring for any animals he passes on the streets. Feeding them and giving them water happily. If anyone were to find out, he'd be embarrassed enough to just die. Or to permanently remove witnesses...
