@Perpenheimer I updated my character's personal effects. (Mostly awful references to other shows).

I want to begin working on the ship and I have a soolid idea in my head about it, but I'd like to know if you have any rules for personal ships.

@6slyboy6 Here is the updated history. If you have any questions about why I changed what I did, feel free to ask.

Also, in regards to his personal effects, they all look good, but one little thing is that electromagnetic weapons are less powerful than projectile weapons of the same caliber. Though scaling them up would make them more powerful.

As for ships, I don't have many rules other than "don't make it a fighter" and the size minimum is 100m length. Use the Ship Skeleton in Quick Reference, and show me when you're done. If I have no problems with it, I'll approve it.

I'll make those suggested changes then, then it's on to character work!

It'll be up in two days. @Perpenheimer

Also, that very part of tobis' history regarding robots outdoing humans in medicine - oh my. Soon medicine will just be a puzzle game of match the words.

@Perpenheimer Regarding the History I saw no great changes: apart from the excellent work at correcting some of my weird sentences (I still blame myself for writing at 4 AM). Thanks for helping out with that :D

On a different note, why would electromagnetic weapons be less effective that propellant based ones? A coilgun shoots a bullet at 4-5 machs and a railgun fires one at 9-10. Propellant based guns would be around as powerful as a coilgunn but any handheld railgun could outdo them in terms of penetrating power and fire speed.

@71452K Robots are cool. I figured that if we had mind-reading hyper-internet then robots are probably super advanced in every area.

@6slyboy6 No problem, I just wanted to make sure you had the relationship between the factions straight. The Concord worlds and the Exile worlds are situated within Collective space. The Concord worlds just have free access to that space because they're engaged in a co-operative relationship with the Collective.

In regards to coilguns, they're more or less stealth weapons. That means the projectiles usually travel subsonically in order to not generate any noise. They can be switched to supersonic modes, but even in that case they're still beat out by propellant weapons (over distance), because this universe's propellant weapons are essentially rocket-bullets, and continue accelerating as they fly through the air.

This is looking interesting to me. I'm not sure yet about filling out a CS, but I do wonder about the semrians' tails. In the wiki, it says that their twin tail-ends are mostly vestigial. Does this mean that there was a reason for a semrian to have two tail-ends during the course of their evolution? Did they help with mobility, for example?

@Garet Yes, they helped a bit with mobility and height advantage, but they were mostly used as indicators of preferable mates.
