Important Character/World Info
Fossils will be able to be found in caves and can be received in other instances. Goldenrod City will have a laboratory where you can bring them back to life if you so desire.
Players will determine PvP battle outcomes prior to their completion. Gym battles and Contest battles with NPCs will generally be handled by the player in question and myself.
For those of you who want an Eevee, the Moss Rock is in Ilex Forrest and the Ice Rock is in the Ice Cave. Sylveon is acquirable with a soothe bell, just as Umbreon and Espeon are.
Shadow Pokémon will be a thing. However, unlike Colosseum/XD, they won't be in the care of other trainers (obvious exceptions being our evil team) – rather, they've been set free into the wild to cause chaos in Johto. While it's not necessarily our characters' jobs to detain these Pokémon, know that a wild Pokémon you want might just turn out to be a Shadow Pokémon. There will be a way to purify these Pokémon, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
Pokémon Contests are held in major cities and smaller towns not featured in games. The Grand Festival is held with the Pokémon League. The first one is in Cherrygrove.
One of your Pokémon may be shiny if you so choose. Please denote this by putting a '☆' next to your Pokémon's nickname (species if they do not have nicknames.)
Hidden Abilities are fair game, just don't go overboard. Starter Pokémon are not allowed to have their Hidden Abilities.
Feel free to catch as many Pokémon as you want, just remember you'll have to switch them out using the PC at a Pokémon Center if you have more than six. Sometimes our characters will be on the road for a long while and you won't be able to switch. I will let you know right before one of these sections comes up so you are prepared.
Time will be utilized in this roleplay. Most routes will take several days to get through, hence the note above about traveling and Pokémon Centers.
If you have any other questions just drop me a mention in the OoC!
