@Raddum So what I'm hearing from this is that you'd prefer a slower pace in exchange for more interaction? I can change it up if thats how most people feel, maybe I'm just ADD and felt like something needed to happen, not giving your characters enough room to interact.

not much point with Gummy having posted, imo. dunno how raddy cakes feels about it though.

@Ammokkx So I know you're giving an example of what you'd have preferred, for there to more action for the group as a whole, even if it led to a similar conclusion, to be given more choice for this outcome, etc...

I guess when it comes down to it, I wanted someone to awaken sooner rather than later. I understand that having a small fight beforehand may have been more entertaining, but would have ultimately led to the same outcome because it's what I feel echoes the story I'm trying to tell at this moment.

There are more demons on this train that haven't shown yet, in retrospect I probably should have had them appear as well in my post. I had thought with the door open to the next room as well as losing another person and having a giant hole in the cieling, there would be plenty to write about over the next set of IC posts, but I can add another at anytime if you'd like a secondary threat.

I mean, I'm fine with it I guess, I was just raising some concerns I had with it. I can roll with the punches for now, just saying it might be best not to pull that stuff again going forward, as it'll lead to people feeling alienated. Or, at least, I'd assume it would.

Yeah.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I'd prefer things to move along at a slightly slower pace than to be instant and messy.

We can't do much now for this round because Gummy's already posted and that work doesn't deserve to be shafted, but going forward it'd be a good idea to take everybody into consideration with these posts.

That being said, can I get a clear explanation of where Itaki was placed? I don't have much productive to add to the current situation due to how things are, but I can't just not post.

I meant more going forward. Do something closer to like...

Sam
Sam picks up the item unscathed but see's 3 people in front of him. What does he do?

The monster opens up a hole in the cieling and reaches for Eden. Everyone gets one action in that time.

Next post
Explian why actions are ineffective, but advantages/disadvantages it would have given in in the future. Eden awakens.

All in all I see how I acted a bit too quickly, I should have given you all room to breath instead of steam rolling the story. Sorry, I'll do better.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. If the only thing stopping us--as a collective--from altering the world post is the fact that I just posted, you should go ahead and edit said world post. I'm not just channeling Jeff, either. I can always happily write up another post (assuming I'm still first in line, of course.)

What's the point of editing something if we know where it's going to lead, though? Best thing we could do is get our pieces in now and have the thing react to it in the next post. Besides, I'm already content with the resolution; I wasn't looking to make Panda bend to my will, just give him a suggestion on how to (probably) better handle his stuff. Gming ain't easy, and he's been doing a pretty good job aside from the one misstep just now.

I think the GM is doing an amazing job, particularly now when he's keeping his best cool while receiving these types of feedback. You can see how Jeff and I would have reacted if they were in the same paws. I was only worried that you were using my post as a reason not to take your own wills into consideration.

Naw we cool. I'll just be more restricted going forward. I'm more used to in person roleplaying which is more quick paced, I'll take a chill pill going forward and let ya'll play in the world.

Can I get an idea of how Sam would've approached the door? If he was in a hurry and would tell Itaki to get out of the way, shove him, or ask him for help prying it open, or anything else?

Not gonna vocally involve him in my post, but I need to know because of current IC events pretty much putting them up to each-other. Itaki has to move and react to the door getting opened, ect.

Heyo really glad to see a Persona rp here that is also active (Played Persona 5 over the summer and have now bought a Vita solely for Persona 4 Golden because I've lost my fucking mind) since you guys and gals appear to be active i didn't wanna assume and wanted to check is applications were still open? Also I've yet to properly check the story posts out so I also thought I'd just check to make sure a new sign up isn't going to cause any conflicting issues with the current storyline or postings

I intend for Itaki to not actually throw the knife; Rather, drop it after Eden awakens as it throws him off immensely.

Just thought I'd let you know before the next round.

@Fury Panda Would the windows have hammers near them to break them open in case of an emergency exit being needed? Even if the thing is 400ft in the air, if it fell and there were survivors there would need to be some way for those survivors to evacuate. I'm asking because I intend to have Lock purposefully smash one of them, if possible.

I get what you're saying, based on the idea that the BBS works in a similar fashion to an airplane. There have indeed been records of people surviving falls from aircraft at much higher altitudes than 400 feet, so the BBS sporting stuff like emergency exits and those inflatable slides aren't out of the question at all...

However, I think that placing hammers next to the emergency exits so that survivors can break through the windows is a bit of a stretch, from a structural point of view at the very least, considering that most subways use multiple layers of glass on the cars' windows to prevent the outside elements (cold, heat, etc.) from leaking inside. No doubt the spider thing could bust through these windows, but I think that even Lock would have a hard time busting one. (Just my opinion, though. I could be very wrong.)

Aight, first off, I'm asking the GM, Gummy. Second, even if he can't shatter the window, there should be some form of emergency exit he could force open given that not installing something like that would probably violate all kinds of safety rules.

The hammer question was a bit of a dumb idea, but it's based on how public transport in my are has hammers with a special tip that can shatter the windows with some mild force put behind it, including some of the older trains. Granted, those windows were also made to break if specifically hit with those hammers because of the way the glass is made.

Should at least be a hatch or something that connects to the outside, if nothing else.
