It was Holly's first show, and the first time any band even remotely cool had visited Adelwood. Posters all around town had advertised the night in bold lettering: 11/11/93. Dawnslight, Rockview, Dark Style. Live and Loud at Morrison Theater. Holly had admittedly stolen one, and it memorialized the night forever on the door of her bedroom. As she stood in the autumn frost waiting for tickets, she dreamed about getting front row, and getting a chance to interact with Mitch Steel, the lead singer of (and really the only good thing about) Dawnslight. She smiled a silent self-smile, and had to check that she didn't have a wagging tail spazzing out behind her. The thought of her first concert experience was a very exciting one, and the poor half-wolf had a habit of growing an accidental tail when she was excited.
This, of course, would practically be social suicide. She was with her friends Michelle, a human, and Sinead, a member of her pack. While Sinead would have most likely laughed at Holly's lapse, Michelle was not likely to feel the same sentiment. In fact, while Holly was very accustomed and used to humanity and its many quirks, there still existed an unspoken rule that those members of DuskDrawn, and even those MoonLead, should not reveal their identities to their non-mythical counterparts. Such a rule was imposed after humanity's reactions to their kind in Europe, a true failure in the face of equality, and an action that forced all those who were effectively different into hiding.
Holly tried not to think about this, however, and though she actively avoided showing her true self out of fear, she did not fear or resent the humans around her. She lived with them, she worked with them, and tonight, she would rock the hell out with them. She was third in line, short-sticked by two total posers. Who the hell wears lipstick to a grunge show? She could hardly keep from howling as the doors opened and her ticket was accepted. Front row! Ahhhh! She turned to Sinead.
"Holy shit holy shit holy shit! I'm sorry, I'm trying so hard not to fangirl right now!"

Six old eyes watched two rivals enter a theater. MoonLead had a history of lurking and observing from afar, and tonight was no exception. But what were these three discussing? What about tonight, and these people in these place, garnered there attention? They talked amongst themselves.

Terri looked around at the chattering crowd. Even in human form the sounds were grating on her ears. She didn't really like big crowds and honestly didn't know what was the point of a music concert when everyone was shouting over the musicians. Not like she ever experienced a classical music concert herself but she knew she would rather be at one of those than here.
She wouldn't have even been here at all if she hadn't been summoned by MoonLead for a mission. She was grateful that they got her a normal job and protected her from... old friends... But they had a bad habit of expecting her to follow everyone of their commands. It was attitudes like this that made her leave human and vampire society behind in the first place.
Terri sighed and stopped her internal rant. There was no point in getting worked up about something she could easily change. If MoonLead didn't work out she could always return to the wilds.

She turned to her group. She really didn't know these two very well, she actually sort of forgot their names, she should probably work on her people skills. Terri cleared her throat.

"Do we know what this man looks like?" she paused to push a stray hair out of her face and lowered her voice. "If he's like us we should have sensed him by now, shouldn't we have?"

They were sent here because they got told a supernatural being was going to be at this concert. They weren't told (or at least Terri wasn't) where this tip came from, all they knew was that he was at this event and he was going to attack people, possibly revealing the existence of the mythical in the process.

It was shaping up to be a good night. Good music, good friends; the only thing that could make it better was if Mercury was here. That was out of the question, though; bringing that dog to a concert would be an immediate disaster.

Sinead Maddox had been to many concerts in the past. It was commonplace for her at this point, but the tingle of excitement she felt in her chest while waiting in line never went away. Though, part of that was because she was with Holly, who was practically vibrating with excitement. Sinead loved being there for someone’s first concert. The anticipation was contagious.

“Holly, it’s okay to fangirl. You’re surrounded by fangirls. Let it out!”

She wasn’t hugely familiar with any of the bands playing, but a show is a show and she’d have fun anyway. Entering into the theater, she was surrounded by loud voices and moving bodies. It felt like home.

She turned to Holly and Michelle, putting on her best “Responsible Mom” voice.

“So, when we go through the crowd, hold onto me. Don’t want to lose either of you, and believe me, it’s easy to get lost.”

"What a beautiful place"
Sitting on a rooftop with a bottle of gwentt in hand, Tasar offered a smile at the crowds that began to form below him. The points of lop sided fangs showing in his grin as his features were lit from the glowing orbs that peaked out from under long eyelashes. If it wasn't for the skin and horns, he would have been seen as rather attractive. Sadly he had to go with the idea that he was a make-up artist of some kind whenever someone asked, just so he wouldn't send them running on appearance alone.

Still, that didn't cut down his love for music. He heard that both gangs were going to be here, hopefully for a peaceful gathering, the band was good and the night was cool. There wouldn't be many people that would pay much attention to anything aside from those up on stage. "Still hast to be careful, no need to cause nightmares to z little ones." Taking the bottle once more, he downed the rest of his drink, the taste of drink on his lips as the warm liquid ran down his throat and warmed his belly. Giving a satisfied gasp as the wisps of air passed his parted lips before vanishing into the wind itself.

Walking a wall as though he was simply taking a phone call, the godling pulled up his hood, placing a set of glasses on his features to dim the glow as he placed his hands in his pockets, head down, he began to pass through the crowds, mumbling apologizes as he bumped into a pair of ladies to try and get a better view.

Freddy Olson

The vampire Freddy took another drag of the cigarette he was holding as he leant against a wall, observing the sea of excited concert goers rush past him and his companions. He could tell they, his companions, were not so comfortable amidst the crowd, as the MoonLead are renowned for staying away from such social activities. Yet, it did not bother him. Not so much anyway. The town of Adelwood was small, making it inevitable to make contact with humanity at some point. Still, the natural urge of attacking one of these mortal beings and sucking their blood was always hard to refrain.

He'd been part of the MoonLead for longer than he can remember. They allowed him in to their group at such a young age and since then he had established himself as a valuable member. Freddy had been on many missions whilst being part of the MoonLead, such as this. This one was easy, at least it should be. To find and locate and eliminate a rogue mythical creature who has planned to attack several mortals and reveal the identity of other 'Myths' in the process.

"He'll be here.", assured Freddy to one his companions, as he took another drag of his cigarette.

Freddy had been informed that there would be several members of the MoonLeads rival gang, the DuskDrawn attending the concert, yet he had not noticed or made contact with them yet. 'Typical', he thought, that that the DuskDrawn would be enjoying themselves at such an important time like this. After one more drag of the cigarette, he flicked it away and continued to survey the hoards of people before him.

"Pff, as if," Michelle mocked, "I've seen my share of shit at these shows. I'll be hangin' in the corner." With that, she broke off and stood in the corner, looking as cool as one can while wearing a fanny pack.

"Ahhh, okay!" Holly practiced her grip on her friend's arm, but did not realize her claws had surfaced at the tips of her fingers.

Mitch Steel slammed down an empty water bottle backstage. "Told you assholes I could do it! Pay up!" Reluctantly, all but one of his bandmates passed forward what they had in their pockets. They couldn't deny that speed at which Mitch chugged his water; it was almost superhuman. The remaining player sat on a couch, working on his bass guitar.

"I told you that wouldn't work out," he said, occasionally turning his ear to his guitar. "I tried to warn you both that he could do it. I could see it in his eyes," he told them.

"Dude, get off your magic bullshit. We lost, you don't have to rub it in!"

"Yeah, well," The Bassist replied. "Listen, it's a packed house tonight. Let's not throw all our postshow drinking money at one person."

With that, the band got ready to play.

Nadia had arrived just in time. From all the excitement, she guessed that the band was going to play. She had heard a few of their songs, just enough that she could pretend she had an actual reason to be there. She had no idea why she had to come, other than the fact that their rival gang would be there. Nadia didn't want to stand surrounded by human bodies while being deafened by music, but it was good cover. That was if she didn't assume that the gangs were expecting each other.

Nadia was hungry. She looked around as she pressed herself against a nearby wall. She didn't want to get snuck up on by her rivals, and a wall was her best bet. None of these people looked appetizing. They were sweaty, loud, and drunk. Usually a perfect combination, but today she wasn't in the mood for that. She wanted quiet.

Nadia sighed, putting her full weight on the wall. Like she would get quiet in this place.

Shuffling into the theater, Tasar began to stand at his full height, almost six feet tall. Yet his white hair that peaked from his hood was barely seen in the crowds, they were too focused on the band. The air was thick with sweat, drugs and tension.

He could feel it, he could taste the iron on his tounge as he felt the wave of hunters. "Now where would you be?" Peaking from above his shades, the glow from his eyes flooded with the light show on stage. Tasar couldn't help but smirk when he locked his gaze on a duskdawn. Giving a nod in his direction as he moved through the crowd. He was obvious too much of a by the books, no fun at all as the guy seemed to have a pole up his ass.

"Now if I was a hunter, I wouldn't want to be in the center...Hm.." he was curious now, he came for the music but he always did enjoy a good puzzle. "No, too crowded, no escape if something went wrong. But he wants to make z splash so too high up is useless..."

Standing in the crowd, hand on his chin in thought as the music wafted over his senses, the vibrations shaking his very core. Tasar seemed to relax, shoulders slumping as he clicked his tounge.
"If I had to guess I'd say someone on z stage would be a safe bet."

Entering the concert Terri has to instantly cover her ears. How could it be even nosier inside? How can the people here stand it? Is everybody deaf?

"Too noisy." Terri said aloud, thinking no one would hear her.

She hoped they could just do this mission quickly so they could leave. She looked around the crowds searching for anything suspicious. Immediately she saw how huge the problem of trying to find this man or woman was going to be. There were hundreds of people here and the crowd was so dense people were completely hidden unless you had an aerial view (which, with all these witnesses, wasn't something Terri could get). This being, whatever it was, would likely only be found after revealing itself.

"We have to narrow it down." She said more to herself than to the other vampire. "Hmm, I wonder... Why here?"

She looked around. Why would they do this at a concert? It seemed like a random place to go. If he was hunting... He would hunt somewhere familiar!

"It could be they are a fanatic of the band..." That didn't narrow it down much. "Or..." She looked to the stage. "No... It couldn't be..." They wouldn't be so brash, would they? "It would though... Maybe..."

As the theater was topped off by eager patrons, the lights dimmed, and the first opener, Darkstyle, appeared on stage.

"'Sup dudes. We're Darkstyle, we're from Seattle, and we're ready to fuckin' kick it. Can you fucking dig that?" The singer tried his damnedest to get the crowd going, but nobody had ever heard of these guys, so it was admittedly hard to care.

This might as well be their first show, Holly thought, then added to herself, But then again, it's mine too. I guess we'll see how this goes.

Without a second's hesitation, things got LOUD. Somehow even louder than before. "Ahhh, shit!" Holly screamed. She hadn't expected such an intense sound out of three scruffy looking dudes, and their opening riff literally shook the house. She gripped tighter to Sinead as they began their set.

People in the crowd starting pushing on each other, starting a small pit. "People will mosh to anything these days, I guess," The Bassist said as he watched from the side. He was quite sure no one heard him. There he stood, watching and waiting for something, anything to help him. He felt that there was to be an uninvited guest at the show tonight, and he was absolutely not having anyone crash his sold-out affair.

Then, in a flash of emotion, he felt something- he knew where the lurker was. He pushed his way through the crowd, and sat down at the bar. The bartender gave him a look as he sat down, but The Bassist was use to such looks. Indeed, he was too focused on the deep aura sitting next to him, a small woman whose eyes were laser-focused on the stage. This was who he was looking for.
"Amaretto Sour, on the rocks," he absently requested from the bartender. He was incredibly unfocused, and he felt something was blocking his dualsight- he couldn't see nearly as many outcomes as he normally could, and he felt everyone's aura shifting. This awful apparition had most likely sensed his ability and set up a barrier so that he wouldn't find them.

But the Bassist was smarter. He knew what that stare meant: this poor human girl next to him had been enthralled by someone on stage, and it seemed to hold her tight. The Bassist knew better than to touch her in this state; that would be like setting off an alarm system that sics the most awful, repulsive demon on you that you can imagine. He struggled to gain control of his foresight. He needed to know who it was controlling her, and he knew he couldn't guess wrong. Looking out into the crowd, he saw a familiar set of faces- fellow MoonLead. God, did they send a scouting party? Why the hell were they always trying to crash his gigs? They knew he could handle it! He tried to hold back his disdain as the two approached him.

The music kicked off and Nadia felt like her head was about to explode. She wasn't getting anywhere just standing at the back of the room, and her head was pounding along with the drums. She figured she might as well get a drink, if not scout out some prey. Nadia danced around groups of people as she made her way towards the bar, being especially careful not to get involved in any of the moshes. She tried her best not to touch people, but it inevitably happened. Nadia had standards when it came to food, and not just anyone would do. By the time she got to the bar she had a few pets, but if she ignored them they'd get hurt enough to stay quiet.

Two boys that had been following her after accidental contact bought her drinks. She sipped on one as she enjoyed the music. It was surprisingly good.

Nadia looked around the bar and only found one person of interest. He was being approached by two others that had a sense of wrongness about them. She assumed they were Moonleads, since her own kind tended to give off bad feelings. Either that or very nasty humans. Nadia looked into her drink. Maybe if they didn't see her face they would ignore her. If they gave her away she would be in some trouble. A few of those that were assosiated with Moonlead were stupid and selfish. They would do anything for a meal and just let the higher-ups cover their tracks. Nadia didn't want to be anywhere near those two, but she was curious. She let her two pets continue to buy her drinks as she evesdropped.

Terri watched the Bassist from a far, ignoring the people bumping and jostling her. Seeing ther Bassist leave his fellow players caught her attention. Was this the one? If a mythical was in the band, then he would most likely strike out on his own to hunt.

The way he moved through the crowd and how he eyed the girl next to him gave Terri a tickle down her spine. Yes, she was sure that this was the one they were after.

"Over there." She tilted her head in the direction of the bassist and indicated her comrade to follow.

As she approached she thought of how to proceed. She hadn't been on many mission yet, and this was the first where she had to keep cover in front of humans. She donned her bubbly persona as they reached him, trying hard to remember this century's slang.

"Yo, wazzup?" She smiled sweetly at the bassist. "Having a goodnight? My friend and I would like to talk to you, that cool?"

She paused then added with slow intent "You know, away from this cacophony?"

It was perhaps too direct but she didn't see the point in wasting time.

"Listen, whatever you have to say can be said right here and now. Speech veils should be entry level casting for a vampire like you, yeah?" The Bassist was testing the vampire woman, trying to get her to leave him alone. "Well?" he waited.
